We missed the intro with Shang Tsung. It was were Johnny Cage mentions "Death of a Salesman". Death of a Salesman is a 1985 film starring Dustin Hoffman.
Although Shang Tsung call his Flesh Pits the”Chamber of Secrets.”
Death of a salesman also being the famous writing of arthur miller
This comment is under-liked. Glad someone did this.
I think the first one was more to do with Ashrah's voice actress, Susan Eisenberg, who also voiced Wonder Woman in the Injustice games and the 2001 Justice League cartoon.
Also he mention Mortal Kombat Scorpion Revenge movie when he encounter Scorpion
Its not an intro but if you have unlocked Johnny as an announcer you'll hear more movie references when selecting characters and kameos.
One of the coolest ones is referring to Motaro as "My Neighbor Motaro" in reference to the iconic Studio Ghibli anime film "My Nieghbor Totaro."
Something I haven’t seen anyone consider, but the Wonder Woman thing also references the fact that the voice of Ashrah
Is also the long-running voice of wonder woman
*Susan Eisenberg*

He's scared of the Predator movie lmao
Because reptile is literally the villain
He's adorable.
@@LEOPARTE10CONFIDENCEdid you even play mk1(The new one)?
@@OptimusPrime1563he means that the predator and reptile are very similar
@@amanwithnoplan7648 my bad then
There's also the intro for Scorpion and Johnny.
"You are not intimidated by my skills?" "I'm not afraid of a ghost."
A possible reference to Ghost Busters (because of the lyric "I ain't afraid of no ghost") and of course, a direct reference to Ghost of Tsushima, because Daisuke Tsuji, the VA for MK1 Scorpion, has also voiced "The Ghost" himself, Jin Sakai.
Only the " Mask " gets me everytime I approved his reference.
it made me smile.
Sssssssmmokiiiin!!!
1:00 i love Johnny cages voice actor my god 😂😂
🤖of course I fly I have wings🤖
"Ofc I fly, I have wings" Flattest voice act ever
0:23 I’ve noticed this reference straight away 🤣
Wow, the facial expressions on Johnny were point at the end
im pretty sure that one of the intros johnny has with scorpion where he says "im afraid of no ghost" is a reference to ghostbusters and ghost of tsushima because the voice actor for scorpion is the same as jin sakai the protagonist from ghost of tsushima, and might also reference how scorpion was a spectre in previous timelines
0:18 HOLY CRAP! MR. MIYAGI TAUGHT LIU KANG
Did u make this just for me 😩🙏🏽
Ryu: you remind me of my friend Ken, Johnny
Johnny: Whatever you say, Barbie
You forgot about him saying “I’m not afraid of ghosts “when he faces off of with Scorpion. Scorpion’s voice actor played Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima.
I would love to see Johnny Cage interact with other people who references other movies. Like MCU's Spider-Man as an example.
Or even better, imagine if this version of Johnny Cage met the likes of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, Predator, Alien, Terminator, RoboCop and Rambo. I bet he would be nerding out seeing a bunch of movie characters appearing right in from of him.
Wait how predator and Alien xenomorph comunicate to Johnny Cage?
@@rahdianrizqicahyasaputra29 Growls and feral noises. Besides, Jason Voorhees would have even less to say, due to him being mute.
@@OmnicidalClown1992 i wonder when that happen, is it MK 2 or MK 3 or MK 4 idk
@@rahdianrizqicahyasaputra29 Are you ask when Jason WILL appear in future Mortal Kombat games, or asking WHEN he appeared in Mortal Kombat? If it's the latter, then Jason Voorhees guest appeared in Mortal Kombat X. In fact he was the first Guest Character revealed on that game's roster.
@@OmnicidalClown1992 oh thanks for the information and answer 👍
Johnny's a walking encyclopedia💀
Of course I FlAaY, I have wings!
How wierd both are friendly chatting about movies before both beating the hll out of each
