Noel Deyzel has honestly helped me be a better man.
I grew up and am still living in a heavy Afrikaans environment, my distant father doesn't fit in an XL because of his own muscles. I never played any sport in highschool for I enjoyed art more.
I started gyming properly at 21 and I also have seen a few changes. I started after my girlfriend whom I gave a ring to, cheated on me with and left me for another man.
I'm still going to gym and I still own some of my father's shirts. I'm 22 now, but I'll grow into them.

Honestly everyone is gonna say this and it sounds boring, but please focus on tried and tested compound movements as a beginner. Squat, Bench, Deadlift, Shoulder Press, Pull Up/ Lat Pull down, Rows. Nail the form on these lifts and gradually increase your weight.
Once your comfortable with this and can handle decent weight you can break your workout down into push, pull, legs or some other split. Don’t get lured into fancy isolation exercises or dumb supersets, just nail the basics and you’ll grow.
But if you wanna know a good split here is what I’ve done for the last couple years, some mix of this, usually i do chest & tris, back & bis, legs, shoulders & tris/bis & forearms:
      chest:
      flat press 4 sets
      incline 15-30 degree press 4
cable cross and/or pec deck (last set dropset) 4
      triceps:
skullcrusher behind the head 4 (superset into close bench 4)
      vertical dip 4
tricep pulldown (rope and/or bar) 4
      back:
      lat pull down 4
      conventional deadlift 4
chest supported row 4 (any row)
close neutral grip seated row 4
      biceps:
standing barbell curls ez bar 4 (some cheating)
pronated to supinated db curl 4
any machine curls 4 (curl machine/cable curl)
      leg 1 (bum):
      sumo deadlift 4
      squat 4
      ham curls 4
bad girl / hip thrust 4
      leg 2 (quad):
      sumo deadlift 4
      leg press quad focus 4
      leg extension 4
      calfs 4
      shoulders:
      machine overhead press 4
      front raise 3
      side laterals 3
      reverse cable cross 3
      face pulls 3s 12-15r

Thank you for your inspiration. Since I jumped into sport seriously, I found the right motivation to hit the gym and improve even more. Everytime I go to the gym now I think about the next competition and I feel the need to work my ass off and keep training, I don't want to go there and think "I should have trained more".

I on the other hand see a big red shirt in a different light. When I was a young teenage girl I used to go to the local pool and cover myself in a big red shirt. Let's just say the teenage boys weren't taught to respect others and started calling me the kool-aid man. After many years I am glad to say I'm finally learning to love my body and myself. I have lost 80lbs and am ready for the rest of my life journey. 😊

My inspiration was when I walked into a supplement store and the seller looked at me up and down and went "hahh no chance". Also when my first trainer said: I was "average" and my third trainer "you can only get big if you take steroids or testosterone". I don't have an actual channel now, but I am thinking of creating one to prove them all wrong!

I was 5'2 about 100lbs. That was 21 years ago. Keep going and eating. Your full time job now is to be bigger and stronger.
My family never taught me that as they were too busy arguing all the time.
Eat and lift weights. When your friends go out to party, you eat and lift weights. When they go to the mall, you eat and lift weights.
You will be surprised where you will be in 1 year. It doesn't stop there. You must constantly be working out. I'm 36 and just got healthy after 2 years being sidelined. I dropped from 163lbs to 148lbs. Within 8 months I was at 165lbs due to muscle memory.
For you it could take more time because you are just starting out.
Keep at it day after day.

I have to disagree, it’s pretty bad. No matter how much smaller you are, you have to at least make the guy understand that even if he’s probably gonna fuck you up, he’s gonna get hurt somehow or another. Just like any other bully or predatory animal, just the *possibility* of getting hurt is enough to be a deterrent. Hell, if you have to, grab a chair and break it over his head or something if it comes to it.
