Exactly, it's a waste of resources to have a huge house with only a few people living in it. Having an expensive small house means that there could be more room for farmland (any kind).

I usually agree with comments like this but... she did? Like when she ran out of money she went "oops lol" and gave herself another 50k. She's also been branching out way more from just the base game in these more recent builds. Kayla listens to her community which is really cool but she's not immediately gonna dive into the deep end of using every single pack and 200k budget when she's basically built her brand off of budget base game houses.

Honestly I love making rich single Sims but the expensive houses on the gallery are all mansions with 17 bedrooms 😭
Even for families, some of them can get to be too much. I downloaded a house for my 100 baby challenge that was 7 bedrooms, didn't like that. Filled two kid/teen rooms with bunk beds, kept the toddler room and mom's room, then turned the rest of the bedrooms into a music room, art room, and hobby/craft room.

lilsimsie, i absolutely love this build. at first i was really questioning it, but we really need more nice looking houses for single sims. i could think of a bunch of different people who could live here just fine. please don't feel like you have to build only family homes or homes for tons of sims! the style and look of this house is something i never knew i would like.

you're great at modern houses cause you dont over decorate them. i really would love to see more of that. some of your modern builds really inspired me like the renovation of Landgraab house, modern vacation rental or even the house from that trash reality tv... it's all great and you should do more of that. also, did you know that here in Brazil the Landgraab family is renamed "Quero-Tudo-Que-É-Seu"? It basically means "Want All Of Your Things"

You should build a house using EVERY EP, Stuff pack , and game pack , & kit available and see how it turns out . No price tag. Just a experimental build to see if each pack truly is able to be used together .

This is honestly probably one of my favorite builds of yours Kayla! It was great to see you use a few more packs instead of just base game, and branch out to a different style than you usually do.
I might also be a bit bias cos I built an eerily-similar house on that exact lot a few weeks ago haha

i love when she actually builds something using different packs, of course being able to have a lot of choices for people who don’t own them is such a great mindset and we all should thank her for always being so considerate but there are already a LOT of houses to choose from! i would also love to see her do different things you know? like, i’d love for her to not worry about how many packs she’s used or how expensive it is and just have some fun while building ^^ overall i loved this house, she can be so imaginative when she’s not restraining herself!!

NEW CHALLENGE: Build a MODERN house inspired by something on Zillow and use ALL THE MF PACKS YOU WANT GIRL!!! 😂👏 I love it! They can still download your homes, they’ll just have to replace the packs with stuff they already have 🤷♀️
That's typically how I download from the gallery anyway. "Cute house, now lemme redecorate". Even when it's a pack I have I often end up switching it out for something else.

I personally love making little expensive houses and making like an independent rich business savy sim type! I also love small builds because you can easily fill it up to look like cluttered but in a good way
Cam needs a mid century lair for him an Gerald to spend their days in. With a chef's kitchen and something for Gerald. Maybe a photo wall for the fam like a nice gallery wall and lots of lair colours

This is my favorite build of yours so far! love it even though it's not my usual style.. I'm always doing light stuff like it was originally inside
I love her videos a lot but it gets kinda repetitive sometimes. I wish she would at least once in a while make a video where she doesn't keep track of how many packs she uses or how expensive it is. Like just go crazy and let the creativity flow without worrying about that stuff even using custom content if she wants. She does so many limited builds already, at least once every 2 weeks she could do an unlimited build.

I really liked this house! It's still blue and feels like it has your touch, but it's different.
Honestly I generally play with a one bedroom house with one sim and sometimes a partner, so this build is perfect!

I really enjoy watching you build. I don't have much free time to play myself, but the majority of the sims videos that I watch nowadays are of you building stuff. I also think that the main reason you end up building so many blue suburbans is possibly because you purposefully limit the amount of stuff you allow yourself to use. I also think it would be a good idea if you ignored pack limitations more often and just built whatever you wanted. If we happen to be missing a few of the items, we can just replace them with something else, but you have all the packs, so you should use them. I love how excited you get about building, because I'm not really that creative when it comes to my builds.
Also, if I used this house in one of my saves, I could imagine it as a bachelor/bachelorette pad for a young, rich CEO type sim. Maybe a married couple, that are both workaholics. I would also probably have a couple pets. I could also just add a shed in the back, with stairs to a basement area, if I really wanted them to have kids. ;) Or I could put it on a bigger lot, with the main house belonging to the parents, and the kids living in a side house.
There’s no space on my PC for any more sims packs and I REALLY want the interior decorating pack. 😞💔

I was so excited for platforms when it first came out but gave up on it when I thought my newlyweds' house was completed only to see that my furnished rooms needed to be redecorated again and again cause the platform kept raising itself. Platform builds are soooo gorgeous tho. This was an amazing modern build. Jaw dropping
