I honestly only know of when I was an infant and had a cva at the age of 6wks, though a nurse also went to give me as an infant ephedrine even though my mother told her that you couldn't give such to a hypertensive pt. This all happened in the early 70's. I am now just turned 50. Though still have issues. So when you mentioned neurological tests, to make sure, hope they have my history well known. I freaked out my classmates when they were practicing bp checks, we were training for EMT-1 at the time.
I’ve been in icu three times as an adult. Accidental drug overdose, staph infection in my spinal fluid and hypovolemic shock. Also I was born at 28 weeks and had an intraventricular hemorrhage
I was in the ICU for Klebsiella that turned into septic shock due to an infected picc line I was admitted to the ICU stayed there for three days then was admitted to the hospital. Finally I was cleared of sepsis and they gave me a new picc. So glad I survived septic shock this was about nine months ago, However it’s made my digestion worse and now I have more complications with my ileostomy, and I have had five bowel blockages all requiring hospitalization. Is klebsiella Turning into septic shock common? And is it common for people to have long-term effects afterwards I know you cannot give medical advice because you are not my doctor and anything you say is just your opinion and not a medical diagnosis , i’m curious what your thoughts are.
Yes, Klebsiella is a common bacteria that can go into your bloodstream and cause sepsis. Everyone's recovery and long term effects can vary, and as you said, I don't know your individual case. However, it is not surprising to me that you have some gut issues because having an infection and being on antibiotics (especially strong antibiotics) can change your gut microbiome. I wish you a steady recovery.
What medical conditions do you want to hear about next??
Loved the video! All 5 conditions explained very briefly!
Thank you very much for fixing your audio. You are much easier to hear now.
I am finally learning how to enhance my audio while editing. It only took two years!
she got so excited talking about STEMI she almost started salivating lol
