I've always really enjoi'd their graphics but I've heard mixed things about the actual deck quality. I'm gonna pick one up after my current deck wears out now though. Great review as always!
One more voice of support for the Enjoi decks. Well pretty much any of the Resin-7 decks like Madness and Darkstar too. They all feel quite stiff for the duration of their life and for me that also helps keep the pop crisper that much longer.
The Enjoi and Almost family of decks I truly enjoy as well. Ha ha!!! For me there is just something about these decks. You're so right about the nose and tail on these. They really feel good. Although now I want to compare them to the Hockey and FA decks.
Haha for sure g. I really liked the shape on this one! For me- the Hockey was a little heavier with a fuller nose and tail BUT also shorter and more “compact.” Both super fun tho. 👌🏻
Thanks for the review. I’m stepping my deck size to an 8 and saw an Enjoi deck for $45 yesterday at zumiez. I’ve always liked Enjoi as a company regarding their graphics and general vibe.
Knew you’d like it! Thanks for the straight up comparison to the Hockey deck. Very helpful. Definitely getting one of those at some point. I’m also quite sure I’ll get another Enjoi at some point. Sound and lighting set up better now. Missing some skating pernaphenalia though.
Audio quality is much better now. You should check out a habitat or aws deck, it’s a nice symmetrical full shape with a huge tail and it just feels so comfy.
Just picked up an 8.5" Enjoi Wallin Party Animal deck on sale. Setting it up to run mostly open flat-ground with a set of Tensor Mag Lights that I didn't care for in the park along with the new Powell Green Dragon wheels (93 duro slide formula). Unfortunately it looks like all the Dwindle stuff is made in China so I think that will be it for me.
Thx for the review. Found this deck online and i am probably a rare skater that likes extremely mellow concave. Not flat just EXTREMELY low and its hard to tell online sometimes if it'll be good🙁
Haven’t skated since 2008 and I used to love Enjoi. Last night I went to Zumiez to buy a skateboard and bought that same board but it’s Nester Judkin’s deck. It’s the one with the indigo background and it has a baby with an old man (looks like Bernie Sanders lol) pointing at the baby. It’s a pretty cool design but I got it because I was looking for an 8” Enjoi and that was the only one. I tried skating today and it was so hard. I thought I would still be pretty good at it and I’m not. Lol. I actually fell one time but I’m going to a skatepark with my friend this weekend and he hasn’t skated since 08 too, so we’re kinda hoping that we don’t get hurt, but we’ll see. Lol.
0:20 I do the fakie bigspins the same way haha. Also just bought an Enjoi deck and I can't wait to try it out. Have you ever skated a Toy Machine deck? If so how would you compare the two?
Lol love to whip those things around! I have skated a Toy Machine (did a review on it as well). The Toy Machine was an 8.38- it felt super compact compared to other decks (feet felt a little cramped). Those nose and tail shape were popsicle-ish and i enjoyed the shape- i would say avg to slightly less avg concave. It was great for kickflip a but not really shuvit type stuff. Hope that helps!
@@BiLLY_KaSh I honestly go back and forth- if I had to choose one forever it would be an 8.38 because it’s just a little easier overall for most tricks, but i really like the stability of an 8.5 so I usually go back and forth for like 2-3 decks lol. Right now I’m skating the 8.38 Almost on Venture 8.25 trucks and what a crazy experience it’s been. Def gonna do a Venture vs Thunder Trucks video in a few weeks.
Hey dude! Nice vid again, love your channel, very specific and informative. Learned a lot from you, but I have some questions still. Can you help me a little bit please? I would like to start experimenting with deck sizes and I would really appreciate if you could answer some questions i couldnt find answers for. I started skating last year, so I suck pretty much and dont have a lot of experience and Im trying to find my preference of boards. 1. Truck size I'm riding 8.25 deck now with 8.25 trucks, but might wanna go down to 8.125 or 8.0. decks. An 8.0 truck should be good for that, but if i switch back to 8.25, an 8.0 truck would be suitable for that size? Will I notice the difference, have some problems, or is it still fine to have 0.25 smaller trucks? 2. Deck length Most decks are between 32 and 31,5 length, but is seems very small of a difference. I tried a shorter deck and it felt more.comfortable, but maybe its just placebo. Should I consider a shorter deck, or just the widt that matters?
Thanks for that and happy to help! 1. For truck size- you should be fine riding 8.0 trucks on an 8.25 deck. Andrew Reynolds rides 8.0 trucks on an 8.5 deck. It’s all preferential and just know having trucks that are narrower or wider than your deck both have pros and cons! 2. As for the length I would get a shorter deck if it feels better! Shorter decks also have pros and cons but as you stated the difference is minimal and if it feels good and works than I say go for it! I’m 6’0 and have found riding 31.5 lengths very enjoyable- they’re just not as ideal for certain things like gap skating or going fast. Hope that helps! :)

All I can say is I Enjoi’d my experience very much and hope you will as well!
this guy's videos are surprisingly underrated
Thank you my g 🙏🏻
hey brother, always great to see a new video from you :-) the audio quality has improved, good job.
Thanks brotha- it’s progress for sure 🙏🏻

Love to hear it! And you’re 100% right with the skate “art” lol- I got a little excited with the new mic setup and totally forgot 😂

Thanks g! I’m def going to try a Habitat or Alien in the future- always been a big fan
Hey thank you for the review, I’ll be considering an enjoy next!
Sweet! Hope you “enjoy”

Have you ever considered reviewing an Alien Workshop deck or no, also Enjoi is probably my favorite deck company, especially due to Louie
That’s so funny i was literally looking at those yesterday. I 100% want a workshop- it’ll probably be my next deck 👌🏻

can you try reviewing sean malto's 8.25 pro model? the shape code is g052 and they have the shape for both girl and chocolate
I’ve been itching to try Girl/Chocolate again in the near future as I’m liking less concave now. I’ll make a note for this shape and check it out!
