Koloa Landing, a Marriott Autograph Collection Resort

We had the pleasure of staying for five nights in an upgraded villa at Koloa Landing in February. After a lei greeting upon arrival and the bellman’s tour, we had time to appreciate the little details that make this resort so fabulous.
The room had a deep soaking tub and double shower head, a huge lanai to watch the sunset and enjoy the birds singing, a full living room and kitchen, a second bathroom with a complimentary washer and dryer, a walk-in pantry and closet and comfy beds with great linens. We had a semi private elevator as well. We were greeted in the room with complimentary water, logo’s reusable shopping bags, macadamia nut chocolates, a fresh fruit plate and a personal welcome letter.
The pool was voted Best Pool in America by USA Today 3 years in a row. We totally understand why! The resort has an infinity pool, grotto, water slides, multiple hot tubs, adult only tranquility pool and various other lagoons for families and romantic getaways alike.
Holoholo grill, the onsite and open-aired pool side restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and tiki drinks! They have TV’s in the bar area if you want to catch up on the real world or your sport’s team and live music several nights a week.
Although the resort does not have beach access, it’s private feel is a luxury of it’s own and it’s only a short walk to the ocean. We will stay here again the next time we visit Kauai.
