- Опубліковано 12 вер 2024
- We visit Main Street Amusements to play an extremely rare pin with an amazing history. Big Bang Bar by Capcom.
Quick notes about how to play.
- Blue Lights qualify left ramp to start a mode. (Inlanes or Middle drops)
- Clearing the middle drops lights the right monster lock, clearing the left target bank lights the left monster lock. Shoot ramp to lock.
- You can stack modes.
- Shooting the right "dartz" saucer is easy if you hold open the upper flipper and shoot under it.
- Super skill shot is to short plunge, and shoot the inner loop.

Hey Jack,
I've been watching your Big Bang Bar stream/youtube video. I was able to gather together objectives for Big Bang Bar
Objective is to complete all 9 modes to start Big Bang wizard mode.
Modes are as follows:
- Mosh a Go-go: Pop bumper frenzy style mode
- Happy Hour: Playfield frenzy style mode
- Tour De Bar: Lights up arrows on playfield for big points shots
- Chase the waitress: Lights up arrows on playfield for big points shots
- Cosmic Darts: Have to make continuous shots to the hole below the upper flipper
- Babe Scanner: Shoot the Orbits
- Get Lucky: Mystery Award
- Lunapalooza: Shoot Right Orbit
- Get Xtra Ball: Shoot drop target just to the right above pop bumpers when lit
Multiball modes:
- Looped in Space: lock balls in aliens mouth in top right to start a 2 ball multiball
- Ray’s Ball Busters/Multibrawl: Shoot ball busters to get all balls on one side to light locks for Multibrawl
Different things on playfield
- Underground: Shoot bouncer/extra ball drop target a certain amount of times to start Underground. Once Underground is started, shoot the continous loop from the upper flipper.
- Tube Dancer: Shoot 3 green targets next to left ramp to start a Tube Dancer hurry up. Then shoot left ramp to collect hurry up.
Wizard mode: Big Bang
- After completing all 9 modes, shoot the extra ball/Big Bang drop target. This will start a 4 ball multiball. During Big Bang, your multiplier is times how many ball you have in play. (I.e. - 4 balls on the playfield equals 4x) don’t forget to plung those balls!
Thanks for the review! it brings back memories. I found myself tensing as if I was playing myself. The lights should point you to the mode and the place you need to shoot. In most cases there will be two modes you can work at any given time, and a safe bet is up the ramp when you're not going for a mode. (You can make the ramp with the left flipper as well.) Don't skip any modes because you are rewarded big if you get all the modes. (Both in points and new visuals). We put a lot of effort to associate the point value with the difficulty level. I may have missed it but I never saw the tube dancer dance. The whole company added to the creativity of this game, and we had some laughs sharing what could and couldn't be done. I see a lot of different people in the final result. That was a different time in history and PC would make it difficult to do today. Even then there was a corporate decision to remove the word Bar from the game... and a team decision to overlook it everywhere except the back glass.
This is up there with the Pinball Circus as one of the most interesting unreleased pinball tables of all time. Well, maybe Magic Girl is there too on that list. Also, I feel incredibly bad for John Popadiuk. Poor bastard became one of the casualties of Kickstarter. I wish he'd get work at Stern or JJP or something.
True someone should pick him up
The call outs on this table are hilarious
Thanks for streaming this!!

Came here for a tutorial... @7:00 "I couldn't find any information on how to play this game" :) I guess we'll all be learning together.
I played one at Flipper's in NC
and the tube dancer is working now
planning on swinging by this location in the very near future.....I see that beverage in hand. Is alcohol served?
