I love the way they romanticize the horror of each story through their amazing choruses. Every song is a horrible adventure. 3:03 to 3:13 is amazing example of that.
As someone else mentioned, I love the punk feel of this song, while mixing in with metalcore. Spencer is a massive punk lover and it shows in the music he makes and sings.
I'm no longer surprised by what this band can do with music; I can only be impressed at a higher and higher level now. Every song on this new album just gets better and better. ^__^
I was actually thinking they should make a Cabin Fever song a few days ago, and now I'm listening to this and I was actually a little bit surprised there. Love it. ^__^
The lyricism was always good but man that pause in “is it a crime to…..kill” and he is just always improving on all fronts his singing and screaming were always amazing but man his screaming has become so good over the last 2 albums
Man they got alot of good one's if you like this one. Gurantee you'll have numerous favorites lol. Listen to all of the silver scream 1 and then check out every trick in the book and keep browsing from there. They got some heavy one's too for sure
I keep forgetting that I think all 'Metal' music is 'Rock' music to me because I was just raised on Metal and just thought it was Rock so when I am listening to music like this while doing my work or something my friends always wonder "Why are you listen to metal like it's nothing?" I always end up saying "This isn't metal this is rock." and when I look back on it I find it funny. Thanks for reading my story.
Wow :O, that's beautiful. This song gives me some serious "Safe Is Just A Shadow" ( my second favourite INK album after new one) album vibes especially in breakdowns, chorus and that's even better :)
Just discovered these guys cause I will see them in concert in a week... I'm so happy I decided to listen to their stuff first! So much creativity in the lyrics, music and videos! New fan here!!
This whole album was like "merry axemas, hold my blast beat?" If somehow a hidden track appears with Alex terrible or Tatiana, or Alisa, I'd die very happy indeed lol
I'm 14 and want to be an author. This is my favorite band and I recently saw them in Florida for my first concert. That was a trigger for a book I'm writing. I have more ideas than I know what to do with now. Thank you for helping me figure out shit lmao I really appreciate it
Cabin Fever is my favorite movie of all time and was filmed an hour away from where I grew up. You don't know how happy I was to see they wrote a song about it!!!
Dude I absolutely love cabin fever, and it really feels like eli Roth made a song, the song is kinda weird and not really in tune with the rest in the album, but also it’s in a good way
With every new album, my wife and I listen through together and try to guess the theme of each song before the other. I've, uh... never beaten her. But it's damn good fun everytime
I dont really see a lot of people pointing out the honk at the end which was the start of the sequel when the guy gets hit , idk i thought it was pretty cool how they fit it so perfectly
I love this part "The killer found the cure but cannot be forgiven Her blood sheds as it spreads another Rash Decision". I wish they have more songs like this. It's pretty cool. Also, I'm glad Ice Nine Kills making horror movie references. More people checking out their references. It puts a spotlight on horror genre which is most of the time being push aside. Hope there will be a lot of horror movies coming too. I mean good ones.

Safe is Just a Shadow is one of the albums that just resignated different to me. Really cemented my love for metalcore per say. I do have to say that this album has done an excellent job of providing that nestalgic ink feeling with creativity at its finest. Beyond impressed with this album.
I was wracking my brain trying to think what movie this was about. Thank God for the comments lol Can defonitely see its Cabin Fever now. Id kill to see these guys live! They rock
I thought Ice Nine Kills was just some mediocre band until the first silver scream came out, then I was like, ok ok this band is actually pretty good, then silver scream 2 came out and after watching and rewatching the album three times with my favorite songs being welcome to Horrorwood and a rash decision, this band has become a god band with the amazing vocals, the great music timing, and amazing transitions from big fast intense beats to a soft melody and vice versa. This band has to be my second favorite and a very close contender to my first favorite which is Slipknot. Keep up the amazing work Ice Nine Kills and please make a silver scream 3.

Weird opinion, but he needs to write a hard rock/ metalcore broadway musical.

This is honestly my favorite track from the album since it came out

I thought it was cabin fever! Haven't seen that movie in ages
Was my first thought too. Scrolled down and happy to see it confirmed.
