My favorite pencil and eraser combo is the Palomino Blackwing 602 and the Sakura Sumo Grip eraser. Two of my all time favorites.

A comparison between these and the pentel hi-polymer would be nice. Hi-polymer is so far my favorite one I've used.
I recommend the Tombow Mono black plastic eraser. It's really quite good and works seemingly better than the Pentel High-polymer.

Honestly, I might get an electric eraser just so I can erase lines of text while I work on homework. The mix of precision and little effort sounds really useful.

There kinda loud and kinda slow, I have one and the slowness is my main problem. It's much faster if I just erased manually, though if you get one of those thick ones it could be faster. Mine spins to erase so it sometimes get stopped which is inconvenient

I use the “acurit vanish four in one eraser” and it is the BEST eraser I’ve ever used in my life. It erases everything incredibly well and the shavings are minimal. I love it!
I like to use the Tombrow Mono eraser as an alternative for the sumo grip. It’s basically the same thing but low budget.
My favorite all-purpose eraser is the Faber-Castell dust free art eraser 58 71 22. It makes the least dust of any eraser, the dust clumps together, and it requires little erasing effort similar to foam erasers. As a bonus, the dark green color hides all sorts of graphite and colored pencil marks.

I use the pentel hi-polymer eraser all the time, its just perfect~ I'm so glad I decided to give it a chance years ago. It can erase some colored pencils, but I'd love to try the Kokuyo Campus and Sumo grip too for that.

I have the basic tombow mono and I love it!
My absolute favorite erasers from JetPens are: the Koyuko Campus Student for 2B Lead, the Uni Boxy (Black), and the Pentel Hi-Polymer Ain Eraser - Dust-Gathering - Large.
This is perfect I was just about to get a eraser for my art now I know what to get
I can’t wait to try some of these!! My favorite eraser is the Prisma Color Gum. It’s for art. AMAZING way to get rid of graphite.. but it’s for those who don’t mind a few shavings so use it outside your bedroom hahaha
My go-to eraser is the Staedtler Mars Plastic. I’ve been using it since elementary school, and it’s awesome!
Try the erasers in the vid, and it will blow your mind how satisfyingly good they are!
I was also a staedtler mars user until I tried to use these other brands. It's incomparable! Lol

I have a piece of Staedtler from 80s and it have not lost elasticity and is still usable, while many other erasers would have turned to stone. This is an eternal eraser.
The Hi-Polymer Jumbo + Arch foam erasers are definitely my go-to!
My go to is the Generals Gum Eraser. Handles soft graphite (Blackwing Matte / Test Scoring 100 / News 600) with the lightest touch and no ghosting (does leave more residue but it's a worthwhile trade-off for me)

I personally recommend the Sakura foam eraser. The eraser pieces stick together so it doesn’t make that much of a mess, and the eraser itself erases marks very well without the need to use too much pressure.
Sakura Foam is good, but the best block eraser I have ever used is the Tombow Mono.

Pentel Hi-Polymer Ain - Dust Gathering eraser is my absolute favorite! I love the feel of the eraser.
I like that one, too. If you like that feel, try the Matomaru Kun. It's very similar, maybe even a bit smoother.
The erasers that I always stock up for the year are the Kokuyo Resare, Kokuyo Student Eraser, Tombow Mono and Sakura Arch. Btw, JetPens can you guys make a video about the new Kokuyo Campus Recycled Notebook? I already bought 20 from your website haha and really wish to see a video about it!
Out of all of them, which one is better? I'm thinking of stocking up on Kokuyo Resare.
Im using Muji plastic eraser Hard Type, and in my opinion it was one of the best eraser, it doesn’t smudge the paper, clean result and just leave a little dust. I’m using it for my regular use, doodling and writing.

Japan had the best Tombow pencils in the 80'. Arount 84-86? They were square but colored pastel wood and they smelled like sherbert ice cream in all flavors, like strawberry, coconut, kry-lime and orange and peach. Too bad i cant find them anymore. Japan also had the best "normal erasers' the only thing i dont like about the iwako us that they are puzzle erasers and they come spart when using. Japan used to gave flower erasers that smelled like flowers and they really worked like a nomal eraser, but they did never smear or tear the paper. A lso they gad rainbow striped erasers, they were so soft as erasers everything and never tore the paper. The 80s were a good tome to be a student in school.
The Kokuyo campus didn't get enough praise! If you're an artist that doesn't want an electric eraser, the Kokuyo erases many different mediums very well and the eraser dust clumps into one long strand. It's also super smooth to use - can't recommend this eraser enough!

The good ones are better than any eraser because kneaded erasers do not leave anything behind because its job is not rubbing. It is picking up the graphite from the paper and it works better than a rubber eraser in most cases except for those who write very dark with lots of pressure.

I use the Tombow Mono stick eraser and the Stadtler Mars plastic retractable, for a pencil they work well with the Stadtler 0.09mm lead.
Eraser caps are nice, too. It's for when your pencil runs out of eraser. It has a triangular tip so it's accurate. It also serves as a safety cap so your sharpened pencils won't break or pierce when not in use.
I've used Tombow Mono for about a year now and it's the best eraser ever! 😊

First, I started making a wish list of this stuff and most of it is from here.
Next, the total cost of this and other stuff was over 200, i was shook.

Honestly, same! I'm slowly but surely trying lower the overall price of the wishlist. One tip I have is to find products that you can buy for cheaper. JetPens tend to be a little expensive, so looking at Amazon is a better choice since they tend to have coupons and stuff.

may I suggest the W AIR-IN Plus erasers? I’ve seen Japanese study bloggers using it.
I have the Air-In, which I have heard is a little softer and smoother than the W Air-In variant. It is absolutely amazing!
Non of the recommended are dust-free. I have one from I think Faber Castel that doesn't leave clumps or dust so I don't have to smear that all over my paper. I'm kind of surprised that whole category was left out...

Yes, dust free is the best! I’m always rotating between Staedtler soft and Faber-Castell.
@@user-pm3mg6qe1n yeah the staedler soft is also nice, but it leaves a little bit of dust that lands on the rest of my paper.
Staedtler luna and rasoplast gets the job done and that to effectively and effortlessly
The Acurit Vanish 4in1 eraser is also pretty great, same level as the Sumogrip
My friend has the Lenten hi-polymer eraser which she got from Korea, and let me tell you, IT IS SUCH A GOOD ERASER! I literally use it all the time. If anyone is considering getting this let me make it easy for you, GET IT!
I have a huge collection of the iwaki novelty and it’s really clean and I had two ice cream ones so that’s the only one I used

I just use (not too sure of the name) Pentel click eraser. It’s an extendable eraser that is in the same familiar pencil/pen feeling. It does the job for me, and packs away with my pens and pencils without creating the annoying bulge of a traditional style eraser.
You got it right, just added an extra letter! I LOVE the Pentel Clic, it fits perfectly in my Pilot Otobaco and I LOVE how bright of a pink it is! Plus it's cheap!

YES. Staedtler Mars technico 780. I have been using my current one for the past 3 years. It rocks.
They have a video about it, I think it’s called the eight best lead holders or something.
MARS 780 is all you need, I have many different kinds and I still use it. If you’re in search for a luxury version get the Rotring 600 lead holder (don’t bother with the Rotring 800 lead holder).

I love erasers but what about the Faber-catell and steadler erasers?
My go to ereaser is the Faber-castell. You can ereas graphite pencils and colour pencils whit it. There kneeding ereasers are super good too and very fun to play whit during sketching or drawing. I love this review of ereaers

My favorite is Pilot's foam eraser! Lesser effort in erasing, no smudge, and has a thinner rectangular build which make it easier for grip and more precise erasing. :)
I forgot to mention that the dust clumps together really well, to the point you'll only have one dust after erasing!

Out of all of those erasers, Kokuyo Campus 2B performs the best on 2B and 4B leads. Cleanest and fastest erasure.
The MILAN 430 classic is all around for me. :)
MILAN 120 Nata, MILAN 624 NATA or MILAN 124 (“tongue cat”) are soft erasers and fine to multiple purposes too. (y)
MILAN 1420 “Master gum” or 1220 for drawing with soft pencils and rest of art pursoses. (ok)

I like the black sumo eraser the most because u can squish the eraser shavings into a lil ball and it becomes a putty :D
My 2 favourites erasers are the Faber castell dust free and the mono dust catch ones.
I also love tge kokuyo campus 2B and the derwent art erasers.

Ugh, late again cuz of school and homework!! At least I can get some QUALITY erasers for once, instead of those ones that were made to simply "look pretty" and not good for erasing. And don't even get me started on those traditional pencils! The red eraser is such a pain!

I came for the tombow Mono Eraser and instead found a different tombow Mono NP. I always thought a Tombow came only in the shape and form like that of the electric eraser.

What eraser can you recommend for erasing pen inks?
You can try using an ink eraser, like the Tombow Mono Sand Eraser: www.jetpens.com/Tombow-Mono-Sand-Eraser/pd/6463 However, these erasers work best on thicker papers because they rely on removing a thin layer of surface material to "erase" the ink.

I have both of them, they look, feel and perform VERY similar. And NO, they are good but not the best.
