I wish this is how it was in the actual game. The Dark Lord boss fight just felt underwhelming and easy. This seems much more fun. Just with less ammo.

This skill level is crazy, I started playing eternal last week on ultra violence and thought that was hard. I'm coming up to the ancient gods dlc so I will be watching this vid over and over to reinforce strategies into my head for the fight!

I do not know about the actual pros but your skill level is extreme. You dying a few times when close to defeating the baddy, fighting like a true legend makes this fight epic. Defeating him in one go would not have made much sense, it is the losing that shows how difficult this is : ) , No wonder this has 128 thousand views, All viewers are way more shocked than you just in the opposite sense. This was one of the finest at par battles with the enemy. Are you not entertained....(Dialogue from Gladiator the movie) : )

You got great skill, my guy! I’m a bit late on this one, but this is a dope version of the fight. I gotta admit though, I love the one-on-one duel between Doomguy and Davoth, but I think what id could have added is something like Davoth setting the floor on fire or corrosive material, or Argent ground furrows like the Whiplash and Archvile, or even aerial ground slams that cause knock back. Would definitely be more than a cranked-up Marauder fight, which I’m cool with, but something like that to make the devil a true threat and a glorious victory when you kill him.
I really like the black armor of the Dark Lord and the difficulty. But that Doomslayer armor and the increase in ammo is a solid "NO".
In truth, it was a better battle than the original, here the dark lord does seem to give him this battle as life or death, not like in the original, which seems to be calm, obviously It would have been hell for players to face but it represents the essence of the doom saga

I played the original Doom back in the late 90s. Typing IDKFA gave you all the weapons. There were other cheat codes.

The Dark Lord's fight really disappointed me. Overall, it felt as though I was just constantly in a sluggish marauder fight, and, considering he regains health upon hitting you, it feels like you are tippy toeing around with more caution than zeal.
Yessss! Woefully anticlimactic and nit very imaginative. I think that was the issue of making the dark lord have the body of the slayer. You'd think it'd be like a dark mirror match but the marauder kinda already serves that role and he's no boss. So it just ends up feeling like empty shock value given he just fights you in a mech.

Wow buddy you are such a pro with the use of weapons and movements, is really a hard one, I did not play it myself, but only seeing it says a lot, is really complicated, and I am one of the guys that was really admire of how I used to kill the demons in a fashion way in the doom1,2 berserker modes, and the same for 3 and Doom(2016), I need to play this Doom Eternal, especially this part..... maybe someday after earning a lot to buy a good PC gamer or own PS4,5,6 whatever XD hahaha

First time I beat this on nightmare took a while, definitely a tough fight.
use of auto shotgun and ice bomb would help with gaining health and dps and take care of the stone imps
