Michaels always has awesome pads of Halloween paper! You’d love the designs for backgrounds. They’re sometimes in a slightly different spot than the main Halloween decor because they’re with Halloween crafting. Sometimes they even have translucent ones that look like X-rays!
Oh, yeah, they have tons. Online, too. Frequently on sale.

Michael does have different pads of paper for most holidays. Keep an eye out for hot buy pads.
Any craft store has single sheets of 12x12 cardstock. You can get them for all holidays or just general things.

Michaels usually has paper packets for EVERY SINGLE HOLIDAY 🎉 I used to be very BIG into scrapbooking. they also have single sheets of paper as well! Take a stroll down the paper aisle and you'll be greeted by so many options. Single sheets and packets. 🎉
Darn, Michael's did sell spider and skull scrapbook backgrounds on Halloween but it never occurred to me to use them for enclosure backs. I wish I had bought some now.

My mum uses these backgrounds for card crafting and yes they do halloween ones cos mum has loads of them too
I just updated all my mantid enclosures as they are now all seniors and need less climbing things and softer bedding,which Im now just using towels,so if they fall they don’t get hurt.

As a newbie in the world of spiders (for the past 4 ish months) I thought that male jumping spiders were black and white, with green chelicerae, and females usually sandy or white, with pink chelicerae. How do you tell the difference with this species? Thanks :)
Some females have green! This lady is a hybrid naturally so I can’t remember if it was a P regius hybrid or a P adaux. But adaux females have green chelicerae always.

I want and need a jumping spider so bad. I wanted to get my daughter one for Christmas but I'm a single parent. I can't afford it at this time so we'll have to wait. I had spinal surgery a few months ago so that was not something. I was able to get for christmas.

No the color of the chelicerae doesn't indicate the sex. My male and female both have the same iridescent bluish green that goes into a yellowish orange.
Hey there! My baby jumping spider escaped the day I received it, and then it reappeared yesterday (2 days later). It hadn't eaten anything the day I got it, and I'm assuming it hasn't eaten anything during the time it was missing. It's caught it's first fruit fly now so I'm hoping it will be ok. Any advice? Should I try to feed it more or give it some time?
