Star could not have just substituted "Shigaraki" with "Human" because the quirk is based on identity, both her perception and the target's self perception of identity. So she can just call out "rock" for its identity, since that's what she identifies it as and it has no self-identify. But for a person, it has to be a name the target identifies as themselves.
The rule that named "This Body" wouldn't actually work. If she's imposing a rule over something living (of course with self awareness), she has to name it specifically. Ex. If she wants to give a rule to any given part of Shigaraki, she has to name it correctly that alligns with the target's perspective. Since Shigaraki doesn't identity himself as either "Shigaraki", "All for One" Or even his original name "Shimura Tenko", nothing will work on him.
I'm just glad that after they messed up season 5 and delivered ok performance with season 6 - that they are back on their good OP/ED game with this series. I'm actually shocked to see Omoinotake here (has been fan of them, since Japanese life-action adaptation of Cherry Magic introduced them to me) and how well their mellow, but extremely emotional song works with TK's opening song. I do like that we are back to having both openings and endings be actually about the arcs themselves with dozens of spoilers tastefully hidden within them (and some thrown straight at us). 1:10 Ok now that's a fearsome chonkers. 1:50 Well as we see in the show, she is at least 10 years old younger than him. Actually let me check it out... Damn she is 42? And All Might is 55+? Now that's suprising. 3:50 On one note - I kinda wish they kept Hagakure's reveal out of the opening, but then it was all over the Internet back then and she is on a cover of a volume as well. But I am glad they only alluded to the actual reveal that happens when we see her face for the first time. Like that's the real thing I am so ready for people to see. 14:15 Interesting detail here - New Order didnt work, because he doesn't fully consider himself Shigaraki Tomura (and it's not even his government name). But she assumes it's actually that he doesn't care about his heart being stopped, that he has counter for it with his quirks. 18:45 It was Spinner, Toga, Dabi (looking at his own memorial shrine), Shigaraki. And then it was Shoji, Uraraka, Todoroki and Bakugou (the hand is not scarred, so it's not Midoriya). Wouldn't pay too much attention to all of that. At least not until later episodes. 20:10 I'm glad we didn't have a full recap - we have a lot of chapters to cover, especially with everything that is spoiled in the opening and ending, so this probably will still be a very fast adaptation. With season 8 (movie?) definitely needed to finish this whole storyline.
S5'S OPs were mid but S6 OP2 was the best OP of the series, and S6 OP1 was great too and both ED's in S6 were fantastic, ED1 being the best in the entire series, i don't know what you're smoking bro.

Overall direction, editing and idea - OP1 had fun style, but no major substance. OP 2 started strong, but it's second half delivery falls apart. Most importantly they aren't as connected with the season arcs, as openings and endings we had before or after 12th ones. That's why they are all together OK. Not bad, but not groundbreaking, either. It's not a negative "score", but positive one. And the season 5 ones? Nah. Good music, but openings are shameful.
