    I counted 42 days. This is a ridiculous amount of work for something temporary. I still think it's unfortunate they couldn't move the permanent stands closer to the football field on one side during the renovation.

      It takes 6 months to build and tear down the temporary seating at the Phoenix Open at the 16th, 17th and 18th holes

      I think those seats were permanently locked in place after the Marlins left. That was the section that folded in to make room for everything from left field towards dead center.

      @@PrinceAnt722 Those seats weren't locked into place: they were torn and a permanent grandstand was built. You can see there are more access portals now.

    Pretty colossal amount of work considering it will have to be taken down after the tournament which only last 2 weeks. For me it is unfortunate they could not find a solution for remaining at the previous location due to restrictions which would prohibit additional Construction.

      You should see how long it takes to build the temporary seating areas at the Phoenix Open. They start in like September. The tournament is 1 week in February, then start tearing it down the day after the tournament ends and finish in like April. The 16th, 17th and 18th holes literally spend 6 months of the year under construction for a 1 week tournament.

    Why wouldn't you put the court in a corner of the stadium so you only have to build two temporary stands ?

      They could have even rotated the court and built a single side

    Why not just build that on a field. It's nonsensical

    • @iRunfastXC
      @iRunfastXC Рік тому +1

      Because you don’t have to build half the seating, half the lighting, and FOUNDATION. Not to mention you don’t have to hire staff, provide or build food services, facilities (bathrooms, plumbing), construct access to utilities, etc.
