I got a sport pool , came with the house. And I was told by my pool man that the builder, who was one of the most popular builders in town for a long time, recommended these for the exact same reasons you just did! And it works out great when your neighbors have a pool with a diving board that the kids can use to get their jumps in :-)
100 % spot on. First pool owners. Plans for pool was 1.2 shallow 1.7 deep. Pool builder over dug pool …. 1.5 shallow 1.9 deep. He told just as they had finished spraying the concrete. Oh you pool is not going to be 1.2 . We said great deeper pool for free. Now after having the pool for 1 year. I wish we had Quarter of the pool at 1.2 flat . Then rolling down to deeper 1.7 max. Or sports pool. Or what the pool was actually meant to be 1.2 to 1.7 .
Hi Steve! Is there a kind of a sports pool design that is shallow in the periphery of the pool and a feet deeper in the center? The pool is bean shaped.
