      I found Art's show to be beneficial for an insomniac like me. Just laying still with a mind constantly jumping from one thing to another and tossing and turning was never working. One focused thing helped relax. True, the topic may cause the desire to listen, but the body was still and relaxed! Thanks Art Bell!

    I worked in radio for years both on air and as a program director. That meant terribly long hours and that the last thing I wanted to do when I left the station was to listen to it. I had to monitor, of course. But I'd be lying if I said I only monitored MY station on the long drive home... Art was always on. I'd also be lying if I claimed that I didn't drive around the block a few times when I got home, until Art's next commercial break. It's fantastic to finally hear these shows under their entirety, not so burned out that I can't truly appreciate them. Thanks to this channel, I can.

      There's nothing new or strange about climate change, what's bizarre is the idea that the climate stays the same and any variation is something extreme or worrying. It may be for humans but for the planet its just a natural process. The climate has always changed. We had an ice age and we've had far hotter, tropical climates and everything Inbetween long before human beings were even here. It's just a reality we need to face whether it's "man made" or not we are pretty arrogant to think we can control it. I also notice the politically correct left don't mind using the term "man" when it's in relation to something negative but when it's something good they want gender neutral terms

      It's laughable that people have an issue with climate science, because it's inconvenient and predictable that right wing knuckle-draggers and miscreants would be against anything seen as protecting the environment. They care for nothing but themselves and yet are harming themselves and everyone else by stonewalling the natural progression of society. Its in their nature to be this way, regressive, antisocial, anti environmental, childish. Yet they happily take advantage of the many advancements science and progressive thinking has given us, computers, cars, medicine the list is endless.

    In relation to the binary code messages - perhaps they utilize that method of communication is because binary could be looked at as a universal language. Why would we believe that aliens from another galaxy would speak an Earth bound language?

    How do we know that the reason they send code to regular people is because they sent something to the governments first and that was ignored? They are appealing to the people to do something before it’s 2 late. Great find, Linda!

Too many times she's spoken incorrectly and/or misleadingly on topics about which I have been personally/professionally and directly knowledgeable. Oh well. Takes nothing away from Art's genius and listenability. Cheers, thanks for sharing.

    Something takes control of the GPS all the time those damned things take you all over the damned place, always taking you to a toll road if there's one around, I have had them take me halfway up the side of mountains and down roads barely big enough for a van.

    • @quantumpotential7639
      @quantumpotential7639 3 роки тому +1

      Yeah, me too. That damn GPS put my van into an old creek bed that forced me to keep going down this side of a mountain that entailed dodging boulders dug half way into the hard clay knocking out oil pan loose and gauging out my muffler. Three borrowing miles later I emerged into a campground no where near where I was supposed to be. That and $1,800 damage to my vehicle. Thanks damn GPS. Thanks a whole lot for nothing but headache and heart aches. Damn!!

    As much as I'm enjoying listening to Art and Linda, for those interested, later studies determined nothing opaque like stars, planets, asteroids or artificial objects could cause those fluctuations, but dust is in fact the most likely candidate. SETI, Green Bank et al also listened and unfortunately, found no signals.

She's no social skills at all, u don't say it all one go in an interview! You just answer the question then let the host or the caller come in to ask for further details etc. why would aliens be smart enough to travel across the galaxy, communicate in binary codes and all this stuff but chose nobody's or people without any influence to do anything about their message. They're not smart enough to make a show where they couldn't be ignored or land during a world leaders UN meeting but instead pick someone at random driving down the road.... I'm not saying these people aren't having some sort of experience in some of the cases but it's maybe not what they believe it to be
