Mrs. Berry, I so miss seeing your shows on TV and "The Great British Bakeoff" for weekly programming. Your smile reminds me so much of my late mother; it lifts my heart and spirits to no end. Thank you.
Love Mary's mix of professional and naughty. She understands food better than most pros. Great recipe, though I'd add a dash of cream and go even naughtier!
Want to make it right now!! Simple, fresh, natural .. THE BEST WAY TO EAT .., so easy to prepare. Good food is you know ❤
Utterly charming and delightful!

Awesome
I can't lie...the thumbnail is what brought me here.
Не плохо-то готовит бабуся )))
Can't find that type of bean here, what is a good substitute?
cat sniffer I thought about that while watching ... and I’m going to use frozen peas. 😁
@@merrymary1550 Frozen peas would be perfect with this risotto-like dish.
Broad beans are known as Fava beans in the US
Why don' t you try oil instead of butter?! As we are used to doing in Italy 😉
When I visited Italy (Verona) I found they used mostly butter to cook with.
I'm not obsessed with the next great British baking show you are
No printable recipe!
bn
Yea she looks wonderful and she cooks delicious 😋 but whats the point of posting these recipes on UA-cam when one can not obtain the recipe 😠 👎. So pointless to subscribe to this channel
I agree with you. They could've added a link to the recipe in the description or just blatantly said the recipe itself.
I once managed Mary Berry's family private dinner at a 5 star hotel. I found out through my own research for benefit of guest service that it was her birthday. I surprised her with our very own baker's mini birthday cake. Instead of being grateful, she seemed more angry and annoyed that we knew it was her birthday.....
Quit spamming this comment. You have issues.
That's because you invaded the family's right to privacy when they had paid for a PRIVATE DINNER (your words) at a supposedly 5 star hotel. The fact that you didn't realise your inappropriateness then, and clearly still do not (demonstrated by you writing the above comment on YT) says much more about you than Mary Berry.
Respectfully let me explain.,"You invaded a family's private, special time and it not only put them at a loss for words, but also annoyed facial expressions. I'm not famous, but during my mum's 85th birthday party in a private room at a public facility a very similar occurrence took place and all in the family were terribly annoyed. Maybe you could have asked someone in charge at the restaurant if approaching MB would have been appropriate at that moment."
Here's the thing, there is no excuse for rudeness at her end no matter what the situation is. However it's also incredibly thoughtless and inappropriate to intrude a private function at your end like that (however well intentioned) as well and expect people to pat you on the back. It's private for a reason and should be respected as such.
All I'm going to say is I feel like you got what you deserved. You said yourself that it was a private dinner and by the sounds of it, you intruded.
Grrr... It should say 'baby broad bean' in the title. I was looking for regular broad bean recipes. Wasting my my time.
love you Mary!!!!!
