Black opal direct, I'm 59 yrs old and watch your channel, just want to say! Who say you can't put a opal gem in side of a opal! Pull sand spot !! Put back in the hole !! A beauty of a gem in the middle!! Johnnypotatoes? Make it fit ! Most are small holes , so put a opal , or diamond, or what ever you want !! This way the gem stays full without slicing it in Half your welcome!!!!!!
It was lovely when you said Ruth was your other favorite gem, much respect for you. Watching from Virginia, USA.
From Houston Texas. Welcome back mate! I have my entire office hooked to opals now because of your videos!!
And lapidary Dave is awesome
Was so happy to see that interview he did with u and ur boy
From British Columbia, Canada. Welcome back, FYI cow catcher is a contraption on the front of a train which will push animals off the track. Before they get squished by the train!
For your correction not many cows or animals survive the cow catcher lol OL
We lost power at noon and it's still out but glad to be here.

Maestro: off work, bite to eat on way home, hit front door, turned you back on. Not very good prospects on those stones, but you brought out the best possible in each/every one. Incredible skill. Thanks for the lesson. Patience/perseverance.
Hearty Greetings from Great White North Tamika and Justin - Mary-Kate here from Georgian Bay, Ontario (a serious fan of yours!!!) :-)
Glad you had a good time in Tucson.
55:00 min stone is the one I like best and one after it too. But I like how there was a red dot showing up in it that looked cool. Good video ,nice gems...
I love opals. Beautiful and it's my birth stone 🪨🤩
A cow catcher is the bumper of the train engines during the days of yore. They couldn't or didn't stop the train for cows or buffalo.
Wooooo in the 30%! Great video as usual with some nice stuff in there.
Missed the live but enjoyed meeting you in Tuscon!!
As per usual, very educational, with two healthy servings of me lady and gentlemanly Australian Personality. What's not to love....?

You see the whole UNIVERSE in an opal.
I saw the Lapidary Dave interview at the show - cool!!!
Given their history you should consider calling little Dwayne Keven Heart or just Kevin/Kev 😂
Good to see you back, and an interesting parcel. Seriously, how can people watch, and not be addicted enough to have subscribed already? Craziness!

Hi 😀. I’m glad to see you two. I’m on Vancouver island in western canada

Love the small triangle
I forgot to tell you, I gave my friend your name and showed her your website and all of your gorgeous opals.

A COW CATCHER IS THE V SHAPED IRON GUARD ON THE ENGINE OF A TRAIN TO PUSH COWS OFF THE TRACKS.
The first ones were made out of wood. Same shape. Just made of really thick planks of oak.
I just subscribed. Shoot, I thought I already did. I love this channel.

Cow catcher is a metal attached plow type blade that kicks cattle off the tracks.
Love you guys wish there was more videos. But look forward to every one of them
Love watching a bunch of your videos!! Opals are stunning! Thank you! From Wasilla, Alaska!!
Love watching your videos
Love the floral moss one with the white all around it that you said wouldn’t cut into anything. I would wrap it onto a sliver ring and love it just the way it is with a little polishing up.
Just discovered you. This is so fascinating. Make lots more!
To me, this dark blue is the best color today so far. I'm partial to the variety of colors in the big white one
Great to see you guys back, videos are always good 👍 😀 👌 to watch.Going to the Ridge next week to have a catch up with some mates.Harry
Do You Have any Plans to go out to the Opal fields in the future for a Video,it would be great to see you dig out your own stones bring them back and cut them, for all to see.
Watching form new jersey, US while I should be working.
A ringer is a sheep shearer. as in click go the sheers.
Picked up a beauty rough boulder opal. Thought i was ready now not so sure. Was wondering if i could share some pics with you and get your thoughts?
Hope your Tucson trip was very profitable as you're not doing this just to see the pretty colors, lol!

A cow catcher is the big bumper on front of big rigs or pickup trucks.

Floral and moss
Hi guys! Vancouver Canada
Love what you do! Subscribed on Day One! lol What day & time are the LIVE opal cutting sessions. please? I'm subscribed, yet always seem to be playing catch-up and watching the replays. 😞
Justin in the United States we also have sedimentary opal. Opalized wood in Utah or Arizona I believe and maybe volcanic opal out of Idaho. In Idaho and Montana we also have star garnets. India is the only other place on earth they are found
Saludos desde Caracas. Aprecio tu trabajo
Im definitely subscribed.
My local gem show had literally 1 seller with Australian opal, and 50ish with Ethiopian 😅

Missouri
Cowgirls are barrel racers, and cowboys that specifically rope cattle are ropers. Some cowboys are bronco busters and some are bull riders.
S. Carolina is here.
Got excited. Thought this was a new life cut. Didn't realize it was 8 months ago. Damn
Hi from Poland:)
I love opal
Yes do it
A cow catcher is a metal piece sort of like a plow designed to remove a cow from the tracks, it also protects the front of a train engine. Also sometimes if a pick up truck has a very fancy heavy grill in front they also call that a cow catcher in fun. Barrells are set in a pattern in a rodeo ring and racers on horse back try one at a time to see who can be the fastest around the course. This is a womens sport. A cowboy is also called a wrangler if he has to guide cattle (wrangle) them from one area to another. I'm a city girl but I live in cow country. If your grazing area has steep spots you still need a horse, but it is flat they use 4wheel drive little buggys. I expect the buggy is also used down under where the grazing spaces are so large.
Took me a minute to figure out what word you were trying to say. We call cowboys ...wranglers.
Your donuts would make cool earrings with gold to stop them breaking
Team up with a jeweler and put a diamond in the middle 🎉😅❤
I thought they called the tubular pointed thing on the front of the train a cow catcher?
Saludos amigos from Colorado Springs Colorado
Amarillo, Texas...BOD needs to come do the 72oz steak challenge @ Big Texan...rofl
Should have come to Idaho an played In the show.
I love watching you figure out which way you're going to go with a piece as maybe somebody else would've taken a different route. With the sand spots in the opal reminds me of a doppler radar weather image on the news you should start a new channel game show where contestants two exactly get to sit beside you and try to make a beautiful gem and if their gem turns out to be nicer than yours they get to keep it I'd call the show " it's all in the potch" I think that's how you spell it the premise would be they sit at their own wheel you've shown them how to work it a bit and they've watched the show so they know how to use it and cut their own stone just to make it fair you'd have some pieces in a bucket and they get to choose first you could really blow up your channel. P.s the highest donating patreonists and contributors to your channel get to come meet you and play against you people around the world. could make it an awesome vacation getaway destination.
Any plans to visit the Tampa Bay area any time soon? We would love to have you !
I have a 6 inch trim saw and wanted your recommendation for what type of blade to use on opal. The type and thickness. Your work is so beautiful I like to learn how the cut them safety.
Hey justin, would you sell rubs that had too much sand to cut big stones, but could cut tiny pointers? I need to cut some bright little blacks for a wedding ring, like 3x4 mm stones.
You should name the little Dwayne piece Kevin since he’s such good friends with Kevin Hart!!😅😅😅😅
I'm late ! It's over
The dream remains
Binge watcher. 👀
Nimble finger envy 😮
The front of a train
I was wondering if you sell lots of plain common gray opal for people to practice their skills on the grinder? I would not want to learn cutting opal with gem quality opal, but it would be good to practice with actual opal so you can get the "feel" for it.
