- "Constant Motion" was released as the first single from the album on April 27, 2007. It was first made available as a free download the same day by Roadrunner Records; it could be found at Roadrunner Records' Dream Theater sub-website for a limited time. This song was also made available to download for the music video game Rock Band. Its working title was "Korma Chameleon", and was the second piece written.
The song was also accompanied by a music video, the first the band had produced in over a decade. The video clip premiered on July 13, 2007 and was released as a free download, in two different formats, also for a limited time.The band hadn't produced a music video since "Hollow Years" from Falling into Infinity (1997), citing lack of interest and lack of rotation on music channels for the latter. The video received considerable airplay on MTV2's Headbangers Ball and was voted as the second best music video of 2007 by the same it is arguably Dream Theater's most popular video since "Pull Me Under" in 1992.

U are right, Portnoy was the soul of the DT, for example the record videos (how its made: constant motion, forsaken...), so he is so funny and cool, he know how to drum, with good voice in the background :D BUT Mangini is a really good drummer (a beast) as well, and he is totally crazy like Portnoy, i think he will be good in this band, just give him a bit more time, (he is a "newbie" in this band, and sry for my English)
Oh the last attempt at metal by DT (a couple songs from BC&SL as well)... I miss those days...

Save star power after the second chorus before the drum solo/break, then use it before the triplits. If you need to, focus just two notes at a time and the star power will keep your gauge up enough to finish the solo.
Once upon a time I could drum this on hard, went through two pedals before I could 4star it, I'm convinced all expert plays are just doctored videos

I love Dream Theater, but they never came CLOSE to writing an album as powerful or memorable as Master of Puppets (or any of Metallica's 80's albums).
