I played this game so many times when I was a kid, it was my favorite video game! Listening to this gives me overwhelming nostalgia.
The soundtrack for kelp forest was definitely one of my favorites and I never could beat mermaidman's time though. That slide had so many turns.

This soundtrack is so fucking amazing. You don't see many games based on shows like this that are actually good and look like they had effort put into them. I wish I still had this game. Maybe I'll buy it again at some point. I wish there was a remake or something available on xbox or ps4.

HEAVY IRON STUDIOS was supposed to work on that, but activision decided to give us a shitty platformer with generic level design, terrible combat, atrocious soundtrack, and graphics that get destroyed by battle for bikini bottom any day. I had high hopes for the game too. Spongebob is better in Heavy Iron's hands.

That level used to scare me when I was little because of how the robot resembled Patrick so much! I also always had to ask my older sister to beat it for me when I was little, but now I can do it myself! (I've beaten the game five times in complete)

I remember 2 weeks ago. I decided to finally take action and finish this game, gathered up all socks from previous levels, as well as all spatulas (Which weren't that hard. The only hard socks was Sand Mountain). And began the Dreaded Kelp Forest. Which I managed to complete in 2 hours with all the socks and spatulas, I then moved on to the Flying Dutchmans Graveyard where I finished THOSE socks and got those last spatulas. I then cashed in the rest of my Shiny Objects to Mr.Krabs and the last of my socks to Patrick, at long last.
100 Golden Spatulas.

As a child, I played this game on end, but I was never able to fully beat it because I got stopped at the Patrick Bot (Cause I was little and it was a challenge lol)
Then I wanted to replay the game so I can feel good and proud of myself, but my GameCube disk copy broke ;-;
I searched EVERYWHERE for a new copy to play my childhood game and haven’t found one suitable (I’ve been ripped off three times)

Same, but after a few years of not being able to play the game, i found out about *ps2 emulators!*
So then I got the emulator, download bfbb and 3 other games, and i went down memory lane. It feels good to beat it after a few years of the disc being stuck in my old ps2 while the ps2 was broken.
Even tho it's always so laggy, it's worth it

this game encapsulates everything ever shown at the time in depth for the whole series. JFF, GG, downtown, mermalair, industrial park, kelp forest... everything definately look an effort to do and the movesets encapsulated traits of the characters.. just loved this thing
The music for the Kelp Caves is pretty much the only thing that kept me from losing my mind during that segment (well, that and their excellent lighting choices).
I hated the Kelp Forest level in general...
I'm telling you right now this game probably the greatest game I've ever played. This really says something considering all the other games I've played in my childhood including Mario, Sonic, gta, fifa and many more. Those games were amazing but I'd had to say this spongebob game is hands down the best of the best. My childhood revolved around it. Fantastic game. I would even go further to saying it was the greatest GameCube game of all time.

This game will be with me forever, I still have hopes they will make a hd remake of this one & the movie game, and make a sequel for BFBB, and if a miracle happens I hope Iron Studios makes/remakes the game for the 2015 movie, I just imagine it with great music, graphics, and levels.

The movie game, as much as I love it, is heavily flawed. A remaster would serve to fix all the problems it has that weren't in BFBB. I'd love an N. Sane Trilogy style remaster of BFBB, the movie game, and Truth or Square.

Hands down, this is the best licensed game I've ever played. This sound track can also prove its a great adaptation of the cartoon. This whole soundtrack emulates spongebob so well. My personal favorite tracks are Jellyfish Feilds and The Flying Duchman's graveyard.

Man I can't believe they are actually remastering this game, this game has a special place in all of our hearts and it's just amazing how nick and THQ are getting back together to remaster this game, the hope is that they do it the right way, if they don't and it doesn't have the same feel, just screw it I'm going back to gamecube, if anyone agrees with me on this, like this comment!!!

It sucks that i could never really experience this game as a kid since it came out a year before i was even born and i never owned a console to play it on. This soundtrack is probably one of the best game soundtracks i've heard though, time to live the childhood i never had with this game in the rehydrated version

Holy shit this game was my jam back in the day. I still have bad memories of being seconds away from beating the Industrial Park Robo-Patrick and my piece of shit X-Box freezing, making me have to restart. That aside, still easily one of my favorite games ever, with one of my favorite game soundtracks ever. Thank you for posting this.
