The calls 📞 I love the most are the Christians ✝️ who call in claiming "the Bible is the word of God" and then is revealed to not even have read let alone understand the Bible 👌👍
It’s all too common that they’re brought up just being told what their parents’ interpretations and knowledge is, then passing that duty on to their pastor (etc). If they actually read the vile book with an open mind, they might stand a chance.
Using emojis like that reminds me of the typing software for kids from the 90' where when you type cat it puts a cat next to the word. Strange seeing people do it in comments 30 years later

You want to know about Jesus? How would you like it if someone came up to you and said, “I love you, I really, really love you, but if you don’t love me back, I’m going to set you on fire. That’s Jesus. That’s not salvation, that’s extortion. And it’s definitely not love. It’s like a Mafia thug telling you to obey the boss or I’m going to break your kneecaps. They'll be saying the same in their little theist circles. What's really shocking is that you can go back 10-20 years to Atheist Experience and hear the same theist arguments being debunked. Their obsession against learning anything new is sad and frightening.
Theists can’t win an argument on theism, because they’re trying to support a position that simply isn’t true. Any argument for an untrue position will fall apart at some point.
they can't, by logic, ever win an arguement. their position is based on faith and belief, not logic. you're not going to win the arguement of "is fire hot?" if your position is that it's not hot if I believe it's not VS the scientific position that it's hot and it's been proven. sad and frightening though idk, you just may not be desensitized. when you've heard idiots for years you tend to get used to it, or maybe some just can't, but I suspect many of us are here to point and laugh, which IS completely fine because people need to understand how ridiculous their positions are if one or two hosts can't hammer it into them hard enough.
Yes indeed. _Life in the Christian bubble._ _(who needs a good argument, when you have faith ?)_ There are endless Christian UA-camrs, that are convinced that they have completely demolished Matt's positions. Matt is a popular target in the apologetics movement. Where straw manning atheist arguments has become an art form.
I didn't believe Harper's call for a minute. "I'm afraid the meany atheists will disown me for being Christian" Somebody who sounds a lot like some dude using a voice changer pretending to be a kid with a script and his favorite apologist ready at hand. I just didn't believe it. Call me disingenuous if you must but everything about that call seemed fake.
Harper, my advice is to ease into the curiosity of studying different religions and evaluate how your parents respond. Inquire their thoughts on what they studied and why they don't believe. During the conversation, ask what would happen if you accepted a faith in a religion. During the call, you mentioned Jay Dyer. He is a presuppositional apologist. His TAG makes assertions, but doesn't provide evidence to back up the claims. P1. God is the necessary precondition for intelligibility. P2. Intelligibility exist. S. God exists. There are a multitude of problems with this argument. 1. He presupposes God to establish God. 2. His "impossibility of the contrary" is a cop out. One must know everything to make such a claim without evidence. 3. It isn't a sound argument without evidence. Replace God with anything else you want to define into existence. P1. Lisa the Rainbow Giraffe (LBUH) is the necessary precondition for intelligibility. P2. Intelligibility exist. S. Lisa the Rainbow Giraffe (LBUH) exists. 4. Hypothetically, we can consider P1 sound. This leads one to deism, not theism, definitely not Christianity. 5. More arguments are necessary to demonstrate Christianity. There is insufficient evidence to confirm the claims of Christianity. 6. From a philosophical perspective, no argument will get you to Christianity. The majority of academic philosophers are atheists.

A good while back during the whole “suck my tongue” Dalai Lama controversy, an Australian comedian by the name of Lewis Spears had a horde of very angry Tibetan buddhists crowd outside a venue because he made jokes about the lama’s “tastes”. Buddhists, contrary to popular belief, is not all that good and holy. They are used to being unjustifiably respected by society, especially in China or Vietnam, that any criticism on their faith could easily send them reeling like any fundamentalists you may find in the US. They are hypocrites, and even the more benign ones are still very much superstitious in their practice.

The conversation Matt and John have with Harper is what needs to be clipped and reposted for all the people who think Matt is harsh, or non-caring. This is Matt doing exactly what he is all about. He cares about the people he talks to. When they adhere to having a true honest conversation. He was respectful. He explained in depth multiple times. And, very calmly I must say. And he did it without being a jerk. When I see Matt being a jerk to someone. Every time it is someone who does not know how to have a conversation honestly, and they have been disrespectful towards Matt.. I have never seen Matt start the jerk train. It is always the people he talks to..
Harper sure sounded like a troll (specially the "hey, you think people only get away from religion after being raised in a religion? well, _I_ was raised by godless parents, but I found my way towards the salvation in Jesus Christ, how about it, atheists?!") that was steering towards some gotcha on a poorly constructed script, but got derailed by John's logical and humanistic reply.
Klaus wanted so hard to get to a gotcha, but quickly realized he just wasn't mentally ready and his train of disjointed half-baked thoughts wasn't going to serve him well against someone who is actually intelligent.
Harper, Jay Dyer is not the person you want to listen to regarding anything. He's a fallacy machine coated in an unbelievably large mountain of word salad.
I love asking christians about heaven and hell, it's my favorite topic to debate. In my experience, there isn't much uniformity of thought about the afterlife, much like the doctrine entirely, but it is so interesting to hear their concepts of heaven and hell, and it tends to be like extra illogical stabs in the dark that they wish were true and of course they are going to the good one. Personally, and i think it's common, when you are confronted with religion as a child with a childs imagination, you develop these pictures of God, heaven hell etc and then by the time you are old enough to care about serious stuff, you have believed so long that it takes great deliberate effort to change. Also i like to plant a thought into theists heads of how, isn't it interesting how you are told that you are the most important being in the world and that if you do what they say then instead of infinite pain, you will go to the most awesome place ever for eternity and also your dead loved ones will be there and you have to trust them, they can't prove it because God doesn't want to be proven, but if they end up being wrong, you'll be dead before you find out so they can never be proven wrong. Pretty convenient eh? If i wanted to set up a system so that I have power and get money without doing any work, and i can scare people into joining but they can't disprove me until they are dead and if anyone makes a reasoned argument against that God? He can magic anything away.. it's all very convenient for the priest class
2:26:00 a great point by john. theists often misconstrue mythicist motivations for their position. they think it's simply a desperate attempt to try to deny theism / christianity. whether or not there was a person at the centre of the jesus story is really irrelevant to an a-theist. the reason someone is a mythicist is because they've looked at the evidence and concluded that the character is myth. these stories are all throughout history.
I guess I’m like Matt with regards to his family. If my parents didn’t respect me for my decision of becoming an atheist, and they judged me for it,’ I’d drop them like a hot rock. Same if the were deeply fascistic. I judge people as human beings. Regardless of my association with them.
Gustavo: How can people still believe these silly stories? Also Gustavo (paraphrased): So my six year old comes to me. Good kid, smart kid. Tears in his eyes. Already afraid of Hell. Says to me DAD... Will I go to Heaven? I'm an atheist. But I say yes of course. -- Oh, don't worry. I'll tell him __?___?__ when he's grown up. === Remember his first question.
yeah I did NOT get that either, and would NOT have let that slide... kids are deep thinkers and that's when I had my thoughts, knowing there was no way I've done anything that would justify anything coming up later... as a punishment. That's from my parents treating me with basic respect. If a kid really believed these outlandish proposals they must be thinking, well everything is going to be fine and reasonable and it would be a very rare case when someone has that extreme condemnation. Although the time thing never made sense to me. Eternity? But since neither one of my parents taught me that, maybe I could have more objectivity. I was just told about it. TLDR: But if my kid came to me disturbed, there's no way I'd make up a story I'd say don't worry about that horse shit! So yeah that part made me think he's not put much time in to his atheism, which is fine, most of the world has not.
Kids don't take kindly to finding out they've been deliberately lied to. I still remember when my mom finally disclosed the fiction of Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny. Totally blew my trust in her honesty at age 6. I questioned her about the god/jesus thing too and since she believed that was true, she told me it was different and actually true. However, I questioned her honesty so much that when I got old enough to seek out evidence for it, I discovered all of it was fantasy too.
The irony of Harper asking would you disown your kid!? As kids are being kicked out of the house for being gay or trans by their Christian parents and no I don’t care if Harper is a kid, it’s condescending to say go easy on the kid. Age has nothing to do with what they’re saying.
I suspect that harper was not a kid, but at least one adult with a voice filter. I thought I heard a whisper giving harper info, and the weird jump to an obscure argument... it's all very fishy. All that on top of the premise which was already pretty sus.
@@sandersGG Now I'm not sure they called another show and definitely seemed more legit in that one. But in this one there was something weird about the voice, idk.

Harper, if your parents are good people, then no they aren't gonna disown you and while I can't say that it would never happen, I'd argue that atheist parents are likely less likely to disown their kid vs a theistic one.
It was an ai voice changer it wasn't an actual child because no child watching nobody Jay dyer arguing for random tag gods Also their voice was fluctuating
I want to give Harper the benefit of the doubt, but it honestly felt like a troll call using a voice modulator. When I was growing up in the 1950's, scientists didn't have a clear understanding of why the earth went through (geology-recent) periods of maximum glaciation, with warmer intervals in between. And with that idea was that we were in a "valley" between ice ages, so it was logical, based just on that, that over the next several thousand years, the earth would go back into an ice age. Even if that was the likely natural course, mankind with its exponentially increasing amounts of carbon dioxide was warming the planet, UNNATURALLY. Scientists were NOT wrong with their earlier idea, just that human-made events were overpowering it. (And that where the earlier predicted ice age was thousands of years away, climate change in the opposite direction was happening in terms of decades or less.) Sort of like saying if your apartment building generally cycles between slightly warmer during the day and somewhat cooler at night, therefore you could rationally justify at high noon, the house was going to cool down in a few hours. If the building suddenly caught fire and you tried to warn people, it would be stupid for them to say "why should I believe you because you were wrong earlier about the building getting cooler?"
Pip, while religious people still can be good, and that specific time and place probably wouldn't be the best, but if she believes in things which aren't real, then there still is zero reason to not challenge it when the time and place is appropriate.
There are multiple reasons not to challenge for one its not my business if you dont talk to me about religion or try to preach to me, I have no reason to challenge you. If you dont make your moral beliefs off a centuries old textbook and vote according to it once again I don't have a reason to challenge you. If you dont do the above I have zero reason to talk with you about why you believe.
I think there was a misscomuncation, i think he was disparaging "the easy out" the host were asking about, but because he couldnt wait for them to finish there was a lot of repeata and crosstalk. He seemed to mean that Buddhism would provide a path to redemption, based only on works. Not the "liposuction" of saying sorry and asking for forgiveness.
Klaus' God is like a being pushing you off the side of a cliff and while you're dangling from the side, it leans down and says "Hey, you can either lick my feet and I'll save you. Or you can reject me and I'll step on your hands.
I have to admit that most of my exposure to Buddhism is from a western view, but I did attend a Buddhist world conference at the Bahai Temple in Chicago in the mid 90's with some of the most revered Buddhist leaders, including the Chinese and Tibetan factions at a time China was committing genocide and social/religious cleansing in Tibet, and they absolutely weren't all lovey dovey with each other, and wouldn't even come near each other..., and really it was quite tense because of that because nothing in the schedule, or even the conceptual nature of the conference warned of it nor was it anywhere near in the actual spirit of the reason for the event which was unity and leading in of the new Dalai Lama! Well, it just reinforced my Apistevism, seeing that they both were experiencing the results from the very same faulty reasoning processes: Garbage in = Garbage out, and relying on wishful thinking! Had there not been a strong contingent of much more humanist Sikhs that took care of everyone's individual immediate needs with a plethora of great food, and open conversation, and the ones I met seamed more cultural than religious! Shit it took me two more years to hear that they are related to Islam!!! There were also many secular humanists there, because any event trying to put all faiths on equal footing is better than separating them even farther... all not imposing anything, willing to answer questions, all in the end coming together to urge the Separated Buddhists to have a close conference/conversation/ or debate, for at least better understanding where the divide really is, and all agreed accept the Chinese who declined in a somewhat cryptic, wink wink/ nod nod way (Fear for their lives) that at least gave some reasoning to why it wasn't a good idea, and why pressing them was even putting them in danger. The Chinese Buddhists knew they couldn't sway their government and had already had to change their ways to honor it (Or else) or at least play along (Shit one of them may have even been a government employee they had to pretend was one of them!), and the Tibetans didn't understand how the Chinese government couldn't be swayed by their religious leaders for it being good and right, and so saw the Chinese Buddhists as not willing for bad reason or part of a conspiracy, sell outs... Makes you think when a religion truly very much more about peace than any Abrahamic religion, and of the better part of hinduism, or from the same pool of origins, with less mythology, and more socially advanced, more inclusive and less judgemental. Well, it too hinges on ties to claims of the supernatural, and incorrect reasoning not shown by science.. and so also doesn't necessarily fit into actual reality, just like any other religion so far. To be honest, I cannot call the Satanic Temple a religion, even though they claim to be one, because they are way too tied to actual reality to qualify as a religion, unless Ii have a mutilated definition of the word Religion. Religion ruins everything! -Christopher "Slap in the head" Hitchens.
My hypothesis about the unemployment rate: People may have jobs, but many of the “new” ones are gig work and therefore unreliable. Of the reliable jobs, the majority of those are part-time. In addition, the statistical unemployment rate only counts people without a job AND actively looking for work. So, if you are without a job AND NOT actively looking for work you are ignored by the stat. Although, I would argue that, the later is what is commonly understood as unemployment rate.
I am pretty convinced Harper made up their story. It feels like an attempt to corner the hosts into hypocrisy with a scenario that almost never happens. If I’m wrong, then I’m wrong, but there was something about that call that felt super off.
Harper's voice sounds fake. The person is probably using a voice changer. I think I remember him calling few months ago with the same "Atheist parents" plot.
Thank you John Gleason knowing the best for children of your own. any one else bringing up a child should know. God doesn't need humans to do every bit as if he didn't exist right and any spitting image would agree.
I think if Harper's parents are smart, they'll have as little reaction as possible to the news Harper gives them. I think if they were to go "Ok, sounds good, whatever you want sweetheart" and then just walk away with little other reaction, it's not going to play into any narrative hacks like Dyer have brainwashed into Harper. Harper sounds like they are looking for that reaction. They were probably told to expect a certain response, and it will add to Harper's "cumulative case". If they see that their parents literally just don't give a shit and love them either way, it'll go a long way towards helping Harper escape the religion later, and hopefully waste as little time as possible believing it. Harper may see that they have been lied to, and that the exact opposite scenario is the one that tends to cause harm.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are just an early, less fully developed version of the Torah. Scholars have compared them to later versions and noted the places where the early and later versions differ. But they come from Jewish tradition. That's what they are. No aspects of the Torah have anything to do with christianity. The new testament just steals from the Torah to justify the claim that heysoos is the messiah, even though he doesn't fulfill any of the requirements that are needed to identify him as the messiah. They just make up new rules that are not in the Torah and claim heysoos is the messiah, use a bunch of the original text, but modify some and omit other things. What's interesting about the Dead Sea Scrolls is it allows scholars to see how the Torah developed over time, although it's likely that the Scrolls are incomplete and were hidden before they were finished.

How can Genesis be interpreted metaphorically without a timeline without just throwing away large parts of the text. Genesis is structured on a very deliberate timeline.
Pain is a physical response, so a metaphysical entity like a soul, being void of pain receptors, wouldn't feel pain in a lake of fire. No pain, no torture. A constant amongst religious groups, like Christians, is attributing physical traits to a metaphysical entity, like a soul
You can make whatever choice you like. The Scriptures are Devine oriented. They are to studied comparing Scriptures with Scripture: working together to understand the “love” of the Creator and His message to his “creatures.”
Klaus' hypothetical has many holes that Matt and John covered pretty well. A few that came to me was which of the many hells that christians believe in am I in? Am I in a lake of fire or separated from god? As the hosts point out, anyone would lie to avoid a tortuous situation. My other question is, am I the only one being given this second chance or is it being offered to everybody in hell. If the latter, would there be anybody left in hell?
The whole question is stupid, because: - sure, I could *say* that I worship Jesus/God to get out of torture, but I couldn't do it genuinely - which means it wouldn't work in the first place. We can't just flip a switch to change what we believe - this includes suddenly seeing someone worse than Hitler as someone nicer than Mr Rogers.

@@tirebiter4009 I don't either, to be honest. 2:05:38 Dave I think he is talking about the “Luminiferous Ether” or the conceptual “Ether” in physics (made up by Aristotle) about the medium of the electromagnetic field (EMF) - aka light. It’s been proven that this ether does not exist by Michelson-Morley experiment. Light or EMF doesn’t have a medium (Ether). This is the reason why we say the speed of light is constant because there is no Ether.
Also if “energy” is “god” then it doesn’t exist. “Energy” is actually just a number that tells us how much something is moving or the potential to move. Energy is a real as Height, it’s just a number that doesn’t exist in reality. Like find me where is height in reality? Not the measurement of the height of an object, but height itself. Nah, Matt himself said he was uncritical of his faith before he deconstructed.
He would agree with everything he had to say.
Any being that requires worship is unworthy of worship.
Quotable.
It is sad and frightening how many gullible people call in week after week, year after year. I have never heard a theist win an argument.
They'll be saying the same in their little theist circles. What's really shocking is that you can go back 10-20 years to Atheist Experience and hear the same theist arguments being debunked. Their obsession against learning anything new is sad and frightening.
@@JayMaverick If there was good evidence I think we would have heard it by now. Not expecting it but just watch for entertainment value.

I didn't believe Harper's call for a minute.
"I'm afraid the meany atheists will disown me for being Christian"
Somebody who sounds a lot like some dude using a voice changer pretending to be a kid with a script and his favorite apologist ready at hand. I just didn't believe it. Call me disingenuous if you must but everything about that call seemed fake.
I get the feeling that some people only call this show in order to practice speaking English but do not have anything of actual substance to discuss.
Hey "Klaus!" Thanks for once again proving the main reason christians remain christian is out of FEAR and not love.
The majority of academic philosophers are atheists.
also maybe don't use voice altering tech and stop lying about having atheist parents.

It was a pretty odd sight given how fair the jokes were compared to the situation.
Buddhists, contrary to popular belief, is not all that good and holy. They are used to being unjustifiably respected by society, especially in China or Vietnam, that any criticism on their faith could easily send them reeling like any fundamentalists you may find in the US.

Harper was a troll from the very beginning she wanted lay down that "proof" which was a pathetic shifting of the burden for a really bad argument.
Yes, and in Revelation 20:14 it is saying; “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”…The “second death.”
=== Remember his first question.
yeah I did NOT get that either, and would NOT have let that slide... kids are deep thinkers and that's when I had my thoughts, knowing there was no way I've done anything that would justify anything coming up later... as a punishment.
TLDR:
But if my kid came to me disturbed, there's no way I'd make up a story I'd say don't worry about that horse shit!

The way they bring up Jay dyer and not the actual argument is automatic red flag

(And that where the earlier predicted ice age was thousands of years away, climate change in the opposite direction was happening in terms of decades or less.)
Sort of like saying if your apartment building generally cycles between slightly warmer during the day and somewhat cooler at night, therefore you could rationally justify at high noon, the house was going to cool down in a few hours.
Maybe, but if she had hijacked a non religious meeting, then also maybe.

I hate that when Matt mentioned someone calling verses problematic wothout proper context I questioned if it might be. Definitely goong to be more careful about how I conduct myself to make sure it isnt lol
I love Matt's fake roleplay about his boyfriend and his fake son.
Pip. Needs to keep it moving. I'm over it now.
Yeah but what about psychological torment? What about perhaps having a different type of body?
You can make whatever choice you like. The Scriptures are Devine oriented. They are to studied comparing Scriptures with Scripture: working together to understand the “love” of the Creator and His message to his “creatures.”
Who is the atheist Matt despises? I need names!
I want to see [Aron and Aaron] and [Eric and Erika] on a Sunday 😅
Super curious about this atheist that Matt despises.
The whole question is stupid, because:
- sure, I could *say* that I worship Jesus/God to get out of torture, but I couldn't do it genuinely
- which means it wouldn't work in the first place.
We can't just flip a switch to change what we believe - this includes suddenly seeing someone worse than Hitler as someone nicer than Mr Rogers.
@@cy-one christians often tell me to repent in order to not be sent to hell. I point out that is a very selfish reason. They almost always don't understand what I mean.
@@tirebiter4009 I don't either, to be honest.
The only aspects I can think of that would be relevant to others would be:
- friends in heaven would miss you if you're in hell, but that's not true either, because people aren't sad in heaven.
- friends in hell would be unhappy when seeing you suffer as well, but that doesn't matter either, as their increased suffering is just an additional punishment for their wrongdoing.
How does selfishness or selflessness even apply here?
@@cy-one So there's no free will in heaven? Nobody is allowed to be sad? It is claimed that heaven dwellers can look "down" on the living. Suppose they see someone they love dearly get horribly mangled in an accident and spend the next 50 years in level 10 pain but be unable to talk, swallow or even move? Would it be wrong to feel sad about their suffering?
And it is 100% selfish to worship a god in order to avoid punishment. What else could it be?
You mention wrongdoing. What offence deserves being sent to an eternity of constant suffering? Murderers and rapists simply have to repent and their sins are wiped away. But someone who takes an objective view of reality and sees it doesn't agree with religion has committed the unforgivable sin.
Doesn't make sense. Does it?
@@tirebiter4009 *"So there's no free will in heaven?"*
I'm not convinced free will exists anywhere.
*"Nobody is allowed to be sad?"*
It's not about it being allowed or not. It just described as just not happening. Same way the husband (who's in heaven) of a murdered wife (who's in hell) meeting her murderer (in heaven) won't be angry.
It's essentially described as "you're too fulfilled worshiping God's glory to feel anything else."
*"Would it be wrong to feel sad about their suffering?"*
Neither wrong nor right, just not a thing entirely. It be like asking if it would be right or wrong if a person (on earth) could, under normal circumstances, live without eating, breathing or drinking. It's a moot question, as that's not a thing.
Of course, one's a demonstrably possible situation to test and experience (... for a while), the other isn't.
*"And it is 100% selfish to worship a god in order to avoid punishment. What else could it be?"*
That's an argument from incredulity.
*"You mention wrongdoing. What offence deserves being sent to an eternity of constant suffering?"*
None. Neither the concept of hell nor heaven is fair.
*"Doesn't make sense. Does it?"*
Nope. I don't think "makes sense" and "Christianity" goes hand in hand.
Leonard's call was so garbled and I couldn't understand a word he said with his accent being so heavy. No idea what he was trying to say.
At 2:13:00 he use the ether-net to talk to the show.
Anyone know if The Line gets paid more when I listen to the whole Kasamba ads and click on their link? I've tried blocking them and can't. Hopefully you guys get a couple bucks out of it.
I can't stand a pip in my teeth, and even worse to have one in my ear. If you will. Let's just say.
“If you will…” 😂
I don't understand the need to say "if you will, let's just say" in every sentence that THEY ARE SAYING. It's like saying "I have this question that I'm asking with these words I am currently saying that you are listening to"
hahaha that face palm!
I always like Pip calls. Very thoughtful and on point.
Leonard and Aban are Trolls but Leonard is the WTF accent pseudo understanding of Buddhism.
I thought he was a troll too and the German accent was clearly put on. A few times he pronounced the letter V as a W but Germans don't tend to have trouble pronouncing the letter V or confusing it with a W as there is no letter W in the German alphabet. Only a non-German with a deficient understanding of German accents would make such a mistake.
@@knownonsenseman8283 Sorry, but there is a letter W in the Germany Alphabet. And Germans definitely do have a problem with the American V. Lots of Germans say "Miami Wice" instead of Vice, for example.
@@thegreatdestroyer6506 Show me a video of that happening.
@@knownonsenseman8283 Just come to Germany, smartass. I was born and raised here, and you saying there's no W in the German alphabet is as frivolous as it is blatantly wrong. Woche, Wasser, Wann, Weil, Wichtig are all words with W, pronounced with a W sound. A lot of words starting with V like Volk, Veilchen, Viel, are more pronounced like an F. I had a classmate that used to say Miami Wice back in the day and sometimes Germans still pronounce a V at the beginning of an English word more like a W. Not everyone does it, since there are some that speak English quite well. But there are others that have problems with that.
@@thegreatdestroyer6506 Odd. My father was born in Germany to German-speaking parents - both his parents have super thick accents and still have a tiny bit of trouble sometimes - and I have never heard them do a "V." as a "W." I have heard the flip all the time though, saying a "W." as a "V." Almost always saying "with" as "vit" and "white" as "vite" and things like that, but no cases of "vase" as "wase" or "vitamins" as "witamins" or anything like that. Not sure if it's a regional thing or a generational thing or just incorrect or what.
Same issue with energy. It’s just an abstract number, not a concrete (real) object.
Leonard was a troll.
Lately it seems you get more trolls than legit calls on all your shows.
I think it's an organized DOS attack to keep you from talking to real callers.

There's no point in taking calls from English-as-a-second-language callers, these conversations are hard and arduous enough with just native English speakers. Nothing is gained by taking calls from people who barely speak intelligible English. There is nothing wrong with saying to a caller who speaks poor English "I can't understand you we're going on to the next caller".
Yo is rite
I have short term memory problems too.... in fact just the other.......... um........what did I come in this room for....?
