Hi there! You'll need to calculate the ppi (picks per inch) of the specific yarn you want to use ie. how many picks or individual strands of yarn fit in one inch of your woven cloth. Then you can multiple that number by how many inches you plan to weave. The actual weft yardage will also depend on the width of your piece, so if you're just working on a small tapestry loom I'd suggest eyeballing it instead of trying to do these calculations. You can always add more of the same color using the same exact method I show when you want to switch to a new yarn - your 'new' yarn is just more of the same you were working with. Hope that makes sense!
7:15 how do you determine how much length
you need for the weft (assuming you just want to use one type of yarn for the whole weft)?
