What beautiful scenery! I think you might enjoy A Lovely Yarn vlogmas. She's a Christian knitter from Pennsylvania and her podcasts are very soothing
I am from the U.S. and i was tickled to hear you say you watched Columbo! He is one of my favorites.
Blessed first Sunday of Advent!
I need to watch Columbo. I love crime dramas and things like that so I don’t know why I’ve never watched it.
Your English is great I love that you put the Christ back in to Christmas love elaine uk
Thank you!
That’s wonderful that Tommy can read Psalm 80 in Hebrew! God bless him ✨🌟🙏🏻🕊🎄🕯️
Anna, One of my favorite vlogs is We Grow Wild, from a young Italian woman. She is a knitter who also loves to do nature crafts. Her vlogs are beautiful, gentle and peaceful. I think you would really like her.
I remember watching Colombo with my parents and we also watched a German series called Der Alte :)
My parents watched Der Alte too and so many others like Derrick, Tatort etc.
I love that you and your husband are thinking of Israel ♥ Thank you for your prayers and your lovely vlogmas ♥
We pray for Israel every day. It has a big playce in our hearts. We had many discussions with friends and family about the situation. No matter what others say to us and what they try to convince us, we stand with Israel. ❤❤❤
@@annaknitter ♥♥♥
I used to watch Colombo with my Oma Frieda ❤. Every Friday I would stay at her house overnight, we had scrambled eggs for dinner and watched Colombo. Thank you for bringing back lovely memories 🥰
That sounds like a very homy and lovely memory. 😍
I love Columbo too. I read recently that Bing Crosby was first offered the part. I can't imagine. Thankfully he was too busy golfing.
The singer?? Wow.
In Dutch we say "de sneeuw dwarrelt" when it snows that softly. It looks beautiful where you live!
Wow I love peter falk as Colombo great taste
I love Columbo too!
I threw soft tofu and 2 tbspn of sour cream in my stollen dough. It was so good.
Jordan and I love watching Columbo! Peter Falk was great in that role.
The snow is beautiful! I miss having a Wisconsin winter full of snow. ❄️☃️
Thank you Anna. You never talk too much - it is all interesting! I used to like watching Colombo many many years ago - it was always a favourite. The word wreath is pronounced REETH, so you are saying it properly.
You can bind a dobble knot on the frins (single treth) . Best regards Susan, Denmark ❤
Try the podcast called Knitalltheyarn from America. She is on Mondays only. A fabulous sock knitter indeed.
Love your vlogs, New vlog for me.
I also see By the lakeside and Fiberbound
Thank you ❤
Thank you Anna, I have been enjoying your Vlogmas along with some others. There are many good ones to watch, but I limit myself. If I don't, It could become a full time job! I am knitting some scrappy blankets with mitered squares too. One is very scrappy and the other has a navy blue border and I am using sock yarns that mainly have blue in the pattern or in the stripes. Very pretty! English is a funny language, isn't it? Dough, bough, cough, and tough do not rhyme, and are all pronounced differently. Your English is near perfect!
Thank you so much! I would be more content if I mastered the grammar better while I speak. But Germans are never content. 😅
You are so right with the full time job. 😅
Yes Anna! I listen to the same bloggers during Advent also! Thank you for a lovely start to my day.
The snow is beautiful. My daughter has also been sending me beautiful pictures from Weiden in der Oberpfalz. So wonderful to see you carrying on traditions. ❤️
We have been just rain. I snow is coming but not yet. Had one small snowfall but melted already. Love the idea of the cowl you are knitting with mind's. Love your Christmas pillow color also!
I love Colombo too!! When I was a little girl I had a crush on him. 😂
The 70s had the best episodes. ❤
Podcasts...Crafthouse Magic, Bakery Bears
❤❤ Thank you.
Yes, I am old enough to remember watching Colombo when it originally aired. I enjoyed it! I think the beef that you cooked is what we would call pot roast. Great idea for an easy meal for Christmas!
I’m enjoying seeing you every day. Thanks for taking time to share
Hello, I loved your vlogmas. Merry Christmas blessings to you! I also loved the snow scen-used to have snow for Christmas. Now that I am an older woman, we seldom have snow. Things change. So it was so enjoyable seeing the lovely snow.
My family has been in the US from Germany for several generations, but we retain German Christmas food traditions. My stöllen will be arriving next week 😊.
I love your Opel minis! What a good idea to turn them into an Advent calender.
My only advent project is a striping Advent sock with 24 colors, and I have a hat and a pair of socks to knit up yet for gifts.
I am enjoying your lovely vlogmas. I love your traditions. My Catholic church does not do an Advent wreath blessing, so I will just enjoy yours.
Have a wonderful day!
Thank you! Blessings to you and your family!
What fabulous scenery.
It’s a lovely tradition that your Advent Wreaths are blessed in Church (pronounced ‘wreeeeeth’).
Christmas carols are my favourite music, along with Gregorian Chant.
I love that you are thinking of Israel. My prayer beads are from olive trees in Bethlehem.
I am going to start a Cosy Memory Blanket on Christmas Eve, and will probably get some Opal minis to add to it.
I am 63 and I well remember Columbo and Kodak from my teens!
Jinny - UK
My Rosary is from the holy land too. ❤
❤❤
I love your vlogmas videos! Where you live looks very pretty Anna! The snow looks so beautiful! Can you please share your beef crockpot recipe? I need easy! You mentioned knitting needles. I like Knit Picks wood needles. They have a smooth coating but not slippery and nice points!
It is a german recipe, but here is what I did: I bought an 800g (from the leg if that is the right word for it). I browned it from all sides in the pan. Remove the meat. Ad onions, carrots and a spoon of tomato paste and keep them in the pan for a few minutes. Ad a half a glas of wine and a glas of broth and stir. Now put everything into the slow cooker on high for approx. 5 hours.

@@annaknitter ty. We will try but not sure what cut of meat you used! Maybe it’s what we call beef rump.. It sounds like sauerbraten.
You should watch FinnishKnitting Stories, if you don’t already 😁
I am watching her. She is lovely!
Thank you for a wonderful Vlogmas. I love seeing your traditions. I am Catholic and appreciate you sharing this part of your life. Columbo! I started watching the old shows also. I think you would like to watch A Lovely Yarn podcast. She is near me in Pittsburgh PA. Have a blessed day.
Anna, your words of praise and acknowledgment of Jesus our LORD and Savior are wonderful to hear. You are sharing with all of the world to hear of His birth and salvation. Jesus is my LORD! I’m celebrating with you. I plan on reading the book by Tim LaHaye! Thank you for the reminder🕊🐑🙏🎄
I use a laundry bag in laundry. But , if not using fringe why not Crochet an edging around coaster. Love your podcast. Happy Holidays from Pennsylvania,in USA
I just bought the same exact stuff to make garland as well! 😊 also from an Instagram video, wondering if we saw the same one! Blessings Anna enjoying your Vlogmas!🎄
I linked it in the shownotes. You can check it out 🙂
Hi Anna, I always look forward to your Vlogmas as I love you sharing about your faith as I am a fellow Catholic, I am also a big Columbo fan too 🙂. Happy Advent xx
Hi Anna! I love Colombo! The biggest mystery is: his wife! Have you ever seen her?! LOL
I think she makes never an appearance. :D But I think its so cute how lovely he talks about her.
@@annaknitter he lives her, but is she ever real?! ;)
@@milavieira1013 😅
How did Tommy learn Hebrew so he could speak it in church?
Hello Anna. I have been enjoying your vlogmas until your comments on Israel and Jesus. Jesus was a man who preached LOVE. He gathered the little children to him. He would not approve of Hamas or Israel, and for sure, would not promote war in his name. I find it very disturbing that Christians feel he would. Love your knits and yarn.
