I agree with the musician who said that Glen was one of those people that God just gave too much talent to. He was a superb solo and group/accompanist guitarist. He was a superb solo, duet, and group singer. He was excellent on several other musical instruments. He was superb at everything it took to host a tv show and live performances. He was an excellent actor in his few appearances. I am sure that I have left off many more talents. Thank you, God, for letting us borrow him for a short time. I have never heard Nancy sing better.
Martha, you are so correct! Such a lovely piece and Glen Campbell, one of the most generous musical talents of all time, well... He always gave more to every collaboration than seemed human... I just know that he's an angel and playing, picking and singing with so many others in heaven!
Two of the prettiest voices from my childhood. Did NOT KNOW that Ms. Sainte-Marie composed this, wow, she created a lot of beautiful music. Thanks for sharing this. Neil Diamond recorded a beautiful version of this too.
Everyone is getting older, that's life. Many performers are not with us any longer, it's nice to see them on You tube. Nancy did a very nice vocal here and I remember that she also had a Record out featuring this tune on Reprise Records.
there obviously was a lot more to him than I knew or realized, but his boyish face hid a lot of depth. loved him in 'True Grit' with John Wayne. and it is to his credit that he chose to perform Buffy's song.
I'm fairly impressed with his singing and simultaneous guitar playing on this. It isn't anything fancy or hip, but it's high value add. Quite competent, well-matched to the song, melodious. And he's ad libbing.
Beautiful song sung by two beautiful people. Too bad they weren't husband and wife. They made a nice-looking couple. You could just see the electricity between them.
Doug boy? Elvis presley's interpretation of this song, is the gold standard. If you don't understand this reality, you are a low IQ fool. The soul depth and diversity of elvis, destroys the shit we hear here.
100% correct. Elvis presley owns this song. Anyone who has ears, realizes that. Elvis's voice is like a fine Bordeaux wine, rich full complex. He forever owns this song.
This was actually originally an Elvis song. I much prefer this duet. However, there is a Barbershop Quartet - Bayside Edition - that does a beautiful rendition that I really love
This was nice. But elvis's 1971 studio recording of this song, DESTROYS this. Trust me. Elvis's voice is like a fine Bordeaux wine. Rich resonate complex tones. Expressive warm and tender. Trust me.
I've not seen this video until now... Glen could sing with and make anyone feel totally at ease.. No one can ever replace him in the World's heart...
Nobody sings it like Elvis he sang this song so beautiful

I saw Glen twice in 2007 as he was special guest with Andy Williams at Moon River theater... He was mesmerizing .. 👍👍👍
Wonderful song
Two excellents voices.

Neil Diamond recorded a beautiful version of this too.
I'll check out Neil's version, thx
Elvis recorded a beautiful version of this song...
Actually
Elvis presley recorded the gold standard of this.
Trust me on this.
In 1971, the soul depth and diversity of elvis, forever owned this song.
Nancy does quite a good vocal here. And she looks extraordinary.

Johnny Gainor From 1966's "How Does That Grab You, Darlin'?"
I love those little fills Glen plays while Nancy is singing. He was such a pro.
Hands down the best version of this song ever performed.
BEAUTIFUL. THEY SING GREAT TOGETHER.
Excellent duet. It soothes the soul, esp mine.
I just love his voice.she was good.
Lovely duet by these two.
Great harmony.
he was a wonderful man he played awsome songs .😊
Brenda Breunig was? You were off by a year. He died today 8/8/17. Rip Glen
there obviously was a lot more to him than I knew or realized, but his boyish face hid a lot of depth. loved him in 'True Grit' with John Wayne. and it is to his credit that he chose to perform Buffy's song.
Sonny and Cher sang this too. Remembering all the great variety shows on TV.
Love Nancy & Glen....
I've enjoyed watching!
fantastic song
Real music :)

We all miss him
memories
They sounded good together.
lovely nancy- great g.campbell- thanx

Great Song!
Just pure talent!
That's real nice. Great interpretation of a classic tune
Frank’s daughter Nancy Sinatra ahead of her time and a true sweat hearted gentleman
Lovely..especially today
sad, though
I'm wondering, if Glen was a member of the studio musicians, who helped Nancy recording this song in 1966.
Not an Elvis song. He recorded it two years after Neil. Original was by the composer. Buffy St. Marie...
Elvis version is out of this world.
Doug boy? Elvis presley's interpretation of this song, is the gold standard.

Neil diamond is ok.
But the 1971 studio recording by elvis presley, is indeed the gold standard.
And it's not even close.
ojala tengan un video con mejor imagen ,sin embargo agradezco haya compartido tan bello video.....gracias y saludos
Oh Lord
cette version ne casse pas des briques !
Great. Check out Elvis Presley’s version, simply beautiful.
👨❤️💋👨🧚🏻♀️🥰🌸
.......💋🥇
i prefer Elvis's version solo the best!
100% correct.
Elvis presley owns this song.
Anyone who has ears, realizes that.
Elvis's voice is like a fine Bordeaux wine, rich full complex.
He forever owns this song.
No,no,no...Buffy Stclair wrote it and sung it best...💙
Does anyone else think Glen is mirroring Nancy?
In those days hair had to be big, triple the normal.
Nancy's hair is bigger than her body! LOL
that was the style then, but she does sing nicely.
Awful wig she is wearing makes it look that way
She was my girlfriend once but I never let her to know... Rsrsrsrs
@Andrzej Jamróz you right mate shes old enough to be my Granny...rsrsrrsrs
This was actually originally an Elvis song. I much prefer this duet. However, there is a Barbershop Quartet - Bayside Edition - that does a beautiful rendition that I really love
It was originally recorded by Buffy St Marie. Fair enough since she also wrote it.
glen recorded with Capitol artists Bobbie Gentry and Anne Murray....shame Nancy was with Reprise..
Glen is way better than Nancy in this. His voice is smoother and he can play so well to enhance her part.
unnecessary and unkind comment.....Nancy sounds just fine here = no one said ever that she was the female version of Glen Campbell
Wearing boots probably
Way too much hairspray - on Glen, not Nancy.
hahaha-that's show business for you, but the whole video seems fouled up somehow
This was nice.
But elvis's 1971 studio recording of this song, DESTROYS this.
Trust me.
Elvis's voice is like a fine Bordeaux wine.
Rich resonate complex tones.
Expressive warm and tender.
Trust me.
Buffy Sainte-Marie's version is a lot better, sorry..........
Completely and totally talentless
