What's great is this WWI plane is it looks like a draft that the designer never finished, but it flew back then and it flew for the video. Way to represent a great things guys.

Yep, that was pretty good all considered. As a four cycle user from the early ''80s, I sure recommend a remote location for the glow plug lighting battery connection. Little ASP engine was pretty sound through the flight. Was it brand new or broken in before hand?

That air combat is a class that seems to be growing everywhere. We did something like that in the time when I started the hobby, we called it Fox-Hunt. It was pretty stress-full and a lot of planes ended as toothpicks or barbecue lighter. But it was fun, would like to try it again, but with FPV 😀
@@elpunto231 That's the more interesting part of it. I still do remember the action it was, with 4 or 5 guys, getting the engines running, hunting the fox and forgetting about all security measures :D But I cant remember, which planes I used and crashed ;)

Many of those WW1 planes were that touchy to fly and killed many a student, so this was very realistic in that respect so I salute your skills Captain Blaz ! I miss Eastern Europe. I will come back again for the third year in a row this year to Slovakia and will come South via Hungry to Slovenia. The freedom you both have to fly want you want, when you want, makes me happy; this is why I am buying a farm away from Sydney, Australia.
The tail surfaces look a bit small for the wing. Nice looking plane, but ask the designer to increase tail size for both vertical, and horizontal stabilizers, and the plane will fly much better. Leave it to the Petrincic Brothers to put a big smile on my face. Well done Capt Blaz!

Tail heavy. Doesn't need more power, just trimming. It's a nice model, too many people tend to overpower models these days- if you have low wing loading and enough area, more power is counterproductive. The full size aircraft flew a crew of two plus war load with a single six cylinder engine and less than 200 hp. The aircraft saw little use in WW-1, coming into service late in the war, but it was used extensively in the Bavarian Civil War and the fighting in the Balkans in the 1919-1920 era.

Basically this is the last video of two great brothers who for many years shared their passion of rc flying. *just sayin, later if at some point you two decide to film more, it can be technical or build videos, cooking or simple clips of such a beautiful country. It can be cut scenes, dont strap yourself to one continues video, gives you more flexibility to film and provide more variety into it. But if not, its all good the same, enjoy life at a different perspective behind the camera w no filming. I do get burned out every now and then and want to sell everything and be done w it. Thank you for all the great videos!
No "OH YEAH!!" because capt Blaz was so busy trying not to stall the thing and still keep it going up! Well, it's not overpowered, that much is certain. Good job keeping it in one piece and making a beautiful forced landing!

This is a slow plane so that it can fly and maneuver behind the other guy to cut his ribbon. If he gets behind you, you can accelerate and loop up and behind him and cut his ribbon. Interesting flight!

Congrats - what a nice landing after that take off !! You can't write that "oh,yeah.." - you need some "goat" font for that .. :-) Interesting to see 4-stroke on this combat bird - it is more like sport scale to hear - I would expect speedy 2-stroke .. Anyway - it sounds beautiful and it will fly even more beautiful after impressions you gave him - so.. Never stop the RC in any form!! (where are they lately?) ..
