Thank you for your video, Gina. I am a Media and Communication student at Glasgow Caledonian University, very excited to explore a career in Digital Marketing :)
This is awesome. Thank you! I'm starting school in June, 2022 for digital marketing, but am trying to get work in the field while in school. I updated my resume, but after watching this video I'll have to update it again 😅. I definitely focused too much on my education.
Love the info very simple and actionable! You hit the nail on head when you mentioned about adding measurable results on your resume. Game changing for some. 💪🏽
Hi Gina, thank you so much for this video! Would you be able to create a video about building a portfolio geared towards digital marketing? Thank you!!
Hi Gina, thank you so much for your interesting video, it was not my first time to hear about the digital marketing job hunt but it is wonderful to see someone who could give me a specific example of it! Since we are talking about how to prepare urself for a digital marketing resume here, I was wondering wouldn't that be nice if we already using a digital resume tool to impress the HR? I personally have been using a super cool online resume builder called Sizigi lately, cause I want to see if that could help me to take a winning step to find my dream job!
Amazing content and value. Could you do something with relation to Email Marketers, Sales Funnel, CX and Flywheel managers. Or what would you advise in respect to this niches
Hi Gina, this was super helpful so thank you! I'm currently a journalism student and I graduate next summer. How could I apply my more-journalist experience to jobs that are more digital, marketing, PR, communications, etc?
Hi Abby! It’s a great question. Since digital marketing, marketing, PR, and communications are all very different it’s hard for me to give a general answer. I would look at jobs you’re interested in that feature your strengths and things you like to do instead of trying to land in a specific industry or apply for specific titles. That’s what I did when I was pivoting from journalism!
Hi Gina, thank you so much for this video it's really helpful. I graduated as a computer engineer but i decided to make a career shift to digital marketing. I enrolled in a digital marketing course and i have a few certifications. But i don't really have any experience or any measurable results to put into my resume. What would you suggest for me to highlight? Thank you in advance.
Great question! I think highlighting any projects you’ve completed in your coursework or on your own through self-teaching is very beneficial. I’m happy to give feedback on your resume if you want to email it to me 🙂💜
Hey, I found you searching "how to get a digital marketing job in 2020". Do you have an email I can send you my resume to advise what I can do to make it more appealing for a digital marketing job when my experience is only based on a site I've built?
Do not list unrelated jobs! Even if you have little experience showcase your skills. Have that as a header instead of experience and talk about projects
Hi Gina, I have a finance background and I want to get into digital marketing, I have done few digital marketing certification courses i.e Google Analytics, Google Ad Words, Google Tag Manager but still, it's difficult to find a job. What would you suggest me work on?
Hi Netra! I would say you need to get work experience. The courses are great, but you’ll need practical experience using those skills. What types of jobs are you applying for? The resume is a big piece of this as well. Feel free to email it over and I’ll take a look!
Remember STAR when updating your resume: Situation: What was the situation? Task: What did you have to do? Action: What did you do to start chipping away at the task? Result: What was the end result?
Hi Gina, I'm new to digital marketing And only have an Ad words certification and recently launched an ecommerce store to gain experience. In this case what would you recommend I'd highlight onto my resume? Thanks🙂
Hi. I have already written up my CV but is it possible if you could give me feedback? I know for definite that I'm going to get feedback and I just really need the help. I can see that it's just not good enough and I'm struggling to change it for it to be better. Is it ok if I could send you my CV through email?

Oh! These are all very different. Are you trying to choose between?
Thank you! How to change resume to meet digital biometric requirements?
Hi Andy! Can you clarify what you mean by biometric requirements?
Do you provide the services of building the resume?
Unfortunately, I do not! But I’m happy to give feedback 🙂
thank you
You’re welcome!

T Stamps I’m happy to help! You can send it to gwicento@gmail.com
Should I have my previous unrelated jobs on the resume? Or just the very little experience and Hubspot certificate I have on the resume?
Do not list unrelated jobs! Even if you have little experience showcase your skills. Have that as a header instead of experience and talk about projects
