Incredible!!! 💙💙💙 Every card we make for someone we know is a labor of love. We are giving a part of ourselves away! Love your background stories & thanks for sharing even the oopsies - they help us problem solve too. Bless you Kelly.
I don’t care to fussy cut often, but there’s times that call for it. This was one of them. Excellent choice and well worth it!! 🤩 The card looks amazing and I’m sure he’ll love it! That you also made it so personal to him, he’d have to be some kind of crazy to throw it away.
Honey Bee has really been knocking it outside of the ball park lately. I’ve been wanting this set for a while and it’s on my list! TFS! This is a masterpiece! ❤❤❤
This is breathtaking Kelly. My son and his girlfriend are having a "destination wedding" in the mountains. When I saw this set awhile back, I could see in my minds eye it would be perfect to use when making their card. Your tutorial has given me some great ideas. Because they haven't set a date, I have some time to "play" and create something special (I hope)! TFS such a beautiful, creative idea.
I have this set for my son who camps in the mountains all the time. Love this pop-up idea so i may copy that portion. Out here in the west, our skies are usually salty ocean blue while the lakes are more blue-green or very dark blue. 😬 The blues do not match so you might have a difficult time with that. Lol I love pop-up cards and have made many. Mostly free-hand but sometimes with my die collection. 🤦🏻♀️ My husband threw his first card away. 😔 I did make a new one, but i save it & give it back to him every year. 😝😝😝
Amazing!!! I know what you mean when you spend so much time trying to make a special card and then the person just throws it away. My boss used to do that, and I asked him to at least wait until I wasn't right there in his office! LOL
What an amazing card and hope your Brother-In-Law loved it as you spent allot of time. Was going to ask you about the clear stencils but you answered my question before I asked it. This was a great video and such a joy to watch. Thanks.
Oh wow, Thank you for this video. I have this die & stencil set, and I have used it to make some very nice 'man cards' ... I am gonna pull it out again and try your color combos and the fussy cutting ... Love It 🙂
I think it’s AWESOME. I’m going to totally pinch the idea but, as I am NOT a fan of fussy cutting, I’ll use a different scene. Also, I own all of the shiny things you’ve used, although some are in transit right now, so you’ve made me anticipate delivery even more. My father in law should love a card like this (one or 2 layers AT MOST, lol!)
Great card! You can threaten him if he tosses the card…lol! I found something on Etsy that reads as ‘If you knew how long it took me to make this card, you would never ever throw it away’ . It’s a back of the card stamp that also has your name with it. I put it on the back of family cards that I make.
Wow, what a stunning card, Kelly! I have this set but have only played around with it once, just to acquaint myself with the stencil layers. I love your idea and may try something like that, maybe not four layers though lol! Thanks for the tutorial using this set. And your BIL had better not throw this masterpiece away!
I'm the same way when it comes to having a layout in my head. I'm gonna get it to work by golly, no matter what it takes and how many sailors come out of my mouth😂
PS...my baby is 19, he still lives at home, holds down a full time job and has a wonderful girlfriend. They have been camping for the last week with her parents and it has been torture that he's not home. I totally get how you feel about your child not being home. You totally trust who they are with but it's not you and you have no control, lol. It's so hard. Big or little they will always be your baby.
What a beautiful card. I love it❤. I virly hope you brother-in-law will save it, the rest of his life 😁😁👍. Maybe you should have to get him the link to the video😁❤️👌
I have this set and really wanted to layer the die (or for the die to be layered). TFS. I'm not sure if I want to ink all those layers BUT it's gorgeous. I have made a layered Parisian scene card BUT it came with multiple dies so I did a lot more die cutting than inking.
What a great but challenging card & you did an amazing job figuring it out. It turned out beautiful. I’ll have to check out some of their other products. I’m sure Peanut misses you too when he is away. You’ll have a happy reunion when he returns. 😊❤
Oh my gosh! This card is stunning! That’s a six hour card for me 🤣you could try out the UnDo. It’s miraculous and it doesn’t mess up your coloring or your papers. AMAZING CARD!!!
Excellent piece of art! You’ll have to let us know what he thinks in your next video😊. My aunt passed away last year and she saved every card I sent to her. My cousin just gave them to me this weekend. It’s been a hoot looking at them again and seeing improvement in my skills. Enjoy your day!😊
Love this card! A bit more advance for me right now though. I totally get how you worry about Peanut. My youngest son (27), is driving halfway across the country and back, just so we can have all our stuff in one place. We couldn't fit everything when we moved, so it's been in storage for just over a year. Between the stress of taking care of mom ask by myself (Alzheimers), and worrying about my son, I should be an exhausted ball of stress by the time my son gets home.
Super cool card! I hope he appreciates all the effort that went into it. Definitely more effort than I would do but I love how it looks (don’t think I could give it away 🤣) Thanks for sharing ❤
Love this card. GREAT JOB for your first card. I'd be upset too if someone threw my card that I made too. So I try not to spend too many hours (easier said than done).
It is amazing but I have to ask if you have lost your everlovin mind! Good heavens I don't think I would attempt this one. I think I tossed 5 pounds of paper trying to make a pop up card this week. Finally got it but whew! Completely different than this and yours is so much more complicated. Enjoy your brunch with family.
Who in their right mind would throw a Kelly Taylor card away???😅😅
☝️What she said❤️ This Card is EPIC!!! You out-did yourself……again!😻
Right?!!? My jaw was on the FLOOR 😂😂😂
I would keep a Kelly Taylor for the rest of my life! 😊
I know! Right?
Incredible!!! 💙💙💙
Every card we make for someone we know is a labor of love. We are giving a part of ourselves away!
Love your background stories & thanks for sharing even the oopsies - they help us problem solve too. Bless you Kelly.
This card is spectacular. It reminds me of when I used to make paper tole pictures and working out all the layers. Definitely a card to be kept.
I don’t care to fussy cut often, but there’s times that call for it. This was one of them. Excellent choice and well worth it!! 🤩 The card looks amazing and I’m sure he’ll love it! That you also made it so personal to him, he’d have to be some kind of crazy to throw it away.

Wow! Your card looks great and your brother-in-law should put it on display!
This is amazing, and I just love you. You’re a ray of sunshine in my dull life of being a widow. Lol 😅😅😅😅
You knocked the masculine card out of the park!
Really nice card! I don’t think I would even try it. Your brother in law better have LOVED it. Wish I could have seen it in person.
More than cute......it's beautiful! If your brother-in-law throws it away, i would disown him! Enjoy your family brunch.
Wonderful card and I would also say don’t throw it away
This is my favorite card that you have ever done Kelly! I absolutely love it.

Wonderful card, Kelly - I love all that dimension..... it certainly takes a lot of patience, but YES - it's really cool!

Wow 😮 love the card but I am one of those who wouldn’t do the fussy cutting 😂. Love the end result
Wonderful and & I’m sure it will be kept! ❤
I somehow missed this one first time around! Oh my gosh it’s gorgeous and have the pleats separate is genius!
That is a completely AWESOME card. I love it.

A masterpiece ❤️❤️❤️. This is awesome! You did an amazing job!!!
No one can top this card! It is absolutely beautiful and a great masculine card. Does the canoe and oar come with the Lakeside Scene Builder dies?
It is amazing but I have to ask if you have lost your everlovin mind! Good heavens I don't think I would attempt this one. I think I tossed 5 pounds of paper trying to make a pop up card this week. Fantastic card! I love it. Great job…throw away, absolutely not! Lol
Kelly, i luv this card! You have to let us know what he says about it!
❤
Have done many scrapbook pages this way! Layered paper layers popped up. No stencils
How did you get the texture in the very last card lying on the plate
I saw someone say, " who could throw a Kelly Taylor card away". I agree something wrong with them! Hope they don't.
I've never had any of my folders leave shiny marks & there just the cheep ones
I wouldn’t mind fuzzy cutting but my hands don’t like it. I can’t cut a straight line. But mostly PAINS PAINS PAINS.

WOW!
