I love this fishy 🐟 card! I have been watching your videos for a long time and will be forever grateful for your sharing your trick of coloring the white outline of die cuts!!
Loved your dog story. I went through the same with two afghans who had projectile diarrhea! So not just floors but some walls. One first, then the other. So it was cleanup everywhere and then had to wash all their long hair. Good thing we love our pets so much. Love the card too.
Fabulous card, Kelly! I'm with you in not loving the white outline so I appreciate that you color them to match the background. Your poor doggies, so glad they are doing better! You are so right about the unconditional love. Our sweet little girl towards the end of her life had a hard time controlling her movements so we had a lot of clean up the last year or so. I believe she didn't like it either. We miss that sweet girl!
I have 4 dogs so this story totally resonates with me. 😂 I busted out laughing at work listening to your poop step… poop step. 🤣🤣🤣 Been there.. 😂 Love the card!
Oh the things we do for our furry children!! Love the card! & now...thanks TO YOU...the perfect pearl shimmers AND the coloring of the white outline are no longer optional for me!😂❤
Your card is amazing! Your story, oh my gosh lol. As a mom of 5 dogs and also children I can appreciate and understand what you went through! I was cracking up the entire time. You are awesome. I am so glad your fur babies are feeling better!
I feel you on the dog poop, I have 4 Goldens with sensitive stomachs. Glad they are feeling better, you need a vacation! I loved this card, so many cool techniques.
Fabulous card! Glad to hear you are over the poop problem, that would have been a nightmare. It reminded me of the family that had one of those robo vacuum cleaners, one night his puppy pooped on the lounge floor and as the robo vac did it’s work it also ran over the poop and spread the mess over every conceivable surface !! What in sight for them in the morning …and the stink !! A Poopocalypse for sure!
Oh nooooooo, a dog poop apocalypse is horrible!!! Glad is was nothing serious and they're both ok! So proud of Eric with his gag reflex, I'm suprised he was able to clean that mess!!! Love the fish card!!!
This card is so beautiful and fun! I love a good clear front. I can’t wait to try the “rays” technique! I love the look. I also don’t like a white outline but never thought to color it after the fact, to match the background so thank you for that too!
Awesome card! Beautiful color!!! I went through the same thing with Arthur but he was throwing up all over. It was from stress with Jennifer and all the fireworks. They wanted me to take him to the ER. it went on for 5 days. I made lots of chicken and rice. I was really worried and just prayed nothing was wrong with him. Thank goodness it is fine now.
Soo sorry to hear what a hard time you've had and so glad it turned out OK. No fun I know especially since you've just gone through a rough time with your little girl and the throw-ups. One day you'll look back on it and smile and think about all the wild times you had when your kids were little and even more wonder how you got through it all. But for now it's just one foot in front of another and you'll get through the day! LOVE YOUR CARD Too btw - just love that technique with the clear front and alcohol Inks! Hope you got some well-deserved R&R on your vacation!⛱️😎🧴
Love the card Kelly, and I too had a poop situation with my Old English Sheepdog years ago. It was horrible! You can tell they feel bad, she was so sad. This was in the 90’s and my vet had me give her Milk of Magnesia I believe in ice cream to get it to stop. Bad part now you couldn’t have ice cream with out her wanting some. She never had people food before this but she sure was an ice cream junkie after that. I hope your father in law has a wonderful birthday and loves his beautiful card.
I feel your pain, I have been in a similar situation with my dog, not funny at the time, however you can laugh afterwards! Love this card, beautiful colours. X
I love this card! I saw the release and fell in love with the fishes but couldn't think of what I'd do with them, so thank you for sharing. I can relate to the poopalooza. My boyfriend's dog has food sensitivities and I've woken up to my share of poop because he ate something that didn't agree with him.
Love this, Kelly. I'm so sorry your poor little fur family had to go through that, I bet their little faces looked so guilty and so sorry that they had pooped all over. And you and Eric having to clean it all up bless you all. I've had to chase one of my cats around the house with poop hanging from his butt, I'm there trying to get him to stop running so it didn't get on anything... which of course it ended up on the cream rug! 😅
Wow its stunning ❤. Love the extra layer of acetate. I don't like the white outline either. Oh... the dog faces all over the carpet 😅😅... Yes thats the joy to have animals 😂❤. Happy they both are okay now👍❤️
Pretty card!!!!! The fish 's expressions are like, "We do not wish to even speak of the Apocalypse of the Poop." I would have had to be sedated, 'cos this Chick gags if somebody on the neighbors' t.v. has poops or barfs." So extremely sorry for the timing, but so happy that it was not more of a life-threatening illness. I'm sure dehydration was a big risk too.
Really cute card. Grandpa will love it. Sorry about your pups, what an experience! I love animals, 2 dogs and a cat and I worry about them like I do my human kids 😂. Glad yours are well again
Stunning card. You are definitely an artist. I may case this and purchase all the goodies you used. Your dad, I'm sure, enjoyed his card. Thanks for sharing the personal story of your fur babies. Prayers are going your way.
I’m enamored with your card! It’s so fun, pretty & cute. The sun rays came out beautifully. I hope Eric’s dad enjoys the card and the little puns! What a nightmare regarding the poop apocalypse! I’m pretty sure I might have vomited after the step, poop, step, poop episode. So Funny but not funny - so sorry y’all had to endure all that (puppies too). Yep - unconditional love! The phrase “unhappy poop” is going to find its way into my vocabulary. It’s so, well, descriptive without being descriptive lol.
Broccoli and cucumbers also help dogs with upset tummy. When your dog is searching for grass to eat, giving them a half cup of steamed broccoli or a quarter of a cucumber that's been cut up, is a suitable substitute for grass.
Wow, Kelly, thanks for sharing…while I was eating Chick-fil-A grilled nuggets. I have a Golden Retrvr-Great Pyr mix and cannot image a similar situation. Your poor puppies! I hope by now they’re doing much better. Oh, and great card, btw!
Love the card and the stamp set. We have two cats and the older one ( he's 9) started peeing and pooping in the hallway upstairs about two months ago. This was unusual and we couldn't figure out why. Around the same time we realized that he had lost weight. Now, he's a big boy (18lbs), so losing a few pounds would not be a bad thing. To be on the same side, I took him to the vet, who ran blood. Turns out he's diabetic and needs insulin shots twice a day. Our poor Rusty... He's the sweetest cat in world.
Mary, good luck hope all goes well. My cat was diagnosed 2 years ago, never thought I'd be able to inject him twice a day. Now he climbs up for his food, sticks his nose in his bowl and I give him his jab. Eleanor
💩😹 This is why I'm glad I have cats vs dogs. Litter boxes! Having several of them around the house contains the poop especially when they get diarrhea.
Only if the cats use them. I’ve had cats that when they were sick did not go in their litter box. And ones that would express anger by not using a litter box. But the best time had to be when I was cat sitting a friends cat while looking after my grandmother and her cats while my dad was out of town. Try as I did, I never managed to convince my grandmother that cats should not have wet food every day. My gran put out one can for each of her cats everyday. My friend’s cat never had wet food really and decided they way to handle all the extra cats was to scarf down their food as well as his own. Only I didn’t figure out he was eating 3 cans of wet food each day until it was too late. My dad had returned so I went out with friends and didn’t get back to my grandmother’s until 2am. When I went to the guest bedroom, I discovered a massive puddle of diarrhea in my bed. Fortunately I had piled the bed with feather beds, blankets, and duvets since it was a futon. Nothing soaked through to the mattress thank goodness. I spent the rest of the night cleaning. But I was never upset with the cat. I was only concerned with his wellbeing. I learned that night that I must like cats too. I had considered myself more of a dog person. It really doesn’t matter what kind of animal you take on. Poop 💩 will be a part of your relationship at some point.
I’ve had cats for most of my life and, both as a kid and recently, I’ve had dogs. I’ve NEVER heard of anything like it. I’m guessing Emma ate some of Molly’s poop and reacted to it. UGH. Sympathy. Lovely card.
Cards cute! You could have added the acetate layer between the card base and blended panel then it wouldn’t show on the back flap. Anyway, it turned out cute!
I went through a similar situation with my doggo last year only he died at the end. He was out with my husband when he started peeing blood. We took him to the vet and discovered he had anemia. So the vet gave him medication and my dog seemed to be improving, but after a month or so the blood in his urine returned. He was too weak to make it outside and kept trying to hold in his poop. And even when we carried him outdoors he had a hard time letting go. We had to massage his belly and pump his back legs. We were having lab work done trying to discover the cause of the anemia and we were spending thousands of dollars. I was also buying lots and lots of cleaning supplies because sick dogs’ waste smells so awful. I actually bought 3 different carpet cleaners during the 6 weeks he was sick. I finally caved and bought a full sized upright behemoth that cost over $600. After the blood returned, I went in search of a second and third opinion. Took my dog’s records to 3 additional vets, but their conclusion was liver or kidney cancer. My dog’s belly actually was swollen in the area over his liver. Vets figured it was most likely liver cancer. We couldn’t see prolonging his life given that he didn’t really have a chance to survive the cancer and his quality of life was so poor at that point. He was also an older guy. He was a good sized mutt, a Bernese mix, and over a hundred pounds. He was probably over eleven years old. He was full grown when we adopted him and we’d had him 10 years. He made our lives magic and I miss him terribly. So so so much. I would say I’d love to be dealing with his poop again. But you know, not if he was sick. I just mean cleaning up after a dog or any critter is such a minor price to pay for the joy they bring to our lives. But I certainly can relate to Kelly’s poo 💩 troubles. Oh yeah, I liked the card and I’m thinking I shall give it a go. I don’t have the Gina K stamp set but I have lots of other fish 🐠 I really like the idea of just coloring the white outline to match the background.
Omg Kelly, I’m so sorry because I burst out laughing at the slipper step-poop-step-poop. I’ve had dogs my whole life and can totally relate! I’m truly sorry for what you went through. If we ever get to meet, I’ll tell you about the skunk stories. Yes, it’s worse than anyone’s imagination LOL. And PS: I love the card.
Hi Kelly!! Love your videos! Could you tell me what type (brand) of paper you use for the Copic coloring? And what type (brand) for inked backgrounds Sorry, I’d be gagging like crazy cleaning up all that poop! Too funny! Poor puppy☹️
Have some circle bubble alcohol ink backgrounds have wanted to do fish over this will be great! My dog had a recent anal gland issue had an accident in my bedroom had to get up in middle of night due to stinking dog poo! After recommended pumpkin. But she is better! Have tile floor thank god.
I love this fishy 🐟 card! I have been watching your videos for a long time and will be forever grateful for your sharing your trick of coloring the white outline of die cuts!!
Coloring the white makes such a difference. Great card.

Awesome card - Thank you for sharing with us ☺

Great card, and I love this idea with the clear overlay layer. Wanted to save it for reference, but there is no save option...
This is so pretty!

Cute card! Love it! Chipotle will that to humans, poor dogs imagine what it can do to them 🤔😯
I need the ideotobe captioned so I can follow along with story time. I still enjoy watching your process.
First viewer?! Kelly this sounds wild. I cannot believe that poop nightmare!
OMG so funny, we have that issue with our cat sometimes, its argh!! but what do you do right. By the way the card is really awesome as well.
Hi Kelly!!
Love your videos! Could you tell me what type (brand) of paper you use for the Copic coloring? And what type (brand) for inked backgrounds
Sorry, I’d be gagging like crazy cleaning up all that poop! Too funny! Poor puppy☹️
…so clever using the acetate…lots of great colors! (Poor dogs…are your carpets ruined?)
Kelly, what media was used for the white dots on the school of fish at 13:35 and beyond?
I did what I ought to have done in the first place…looked at your description. It is Sakura Gelly Roll White colour pens. 😂 ❤
It must take you forever to list all those items you've used in your card. Thank you so much for your efforts
GUUURRRLLLL I’m just catching up on videos. This is the worst dog poop story I’ve ever heard and I’ve got some horrendous dog poop stories. 😂
You are one of the most talented artists on YT, but I cannot with all the graphic sick kid stories. I’m so sorry.
No need to apologize. I title the videos so people know to mute it. It's 100% okay. 😘
