Indigenous!
The greatest unheard of band ever !!!
One of the best guitarists and voices ever
I've witnessed this amazing musician playblive 4 times.. :)
The first time I saw you was at Chico State University. I was there to meet with an AIM person in regard to Leonard Peltier. Lunch was also served there. We are both from the Yankton "Sioux" reservation. I am part Ihanktonwanna Yanktonai according to a 1939 document. My relations are Reynolds, Neis and others. The next time My wife and I saw you at, if I remember right, Gold Hills Casino. I still have the Tee Shirt I purchased from you guys. I am now 74 years young.
So stoked to still hear a blues being played
HAVE ALWAYS LOVED HEARING YOUR HEART AND SOUL IN YOUR PLAYING. I'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR 60 YEARS NOW. SO I KNOW WHERE YOUR MUSIC IS COMING FROM INSIDE YOU. WHAT GAUGE STRINGS DO YOU USE, AND DO YOU TUNE DOWN? IF SO, WHAT TUNING. KEEP ON RIPPING IT UP.
I just heard him live in Sioux Falls. What an awesome guitarist!
So cool they are coming to New Mexico YES can't wait to see them live.
Mato is QUALIFIED🎸🎶🎵✌🏽
Come to the One Love festival in Aotearoa, New Zealand! Your people and culture will warmly welcome to our homeland
I am shoshoni, but I learned Ojibwe for a while, when I was in WI. Chimmook is a Chippewa person. I saw Indigenous in Milwaukee back in 1998, when their first album was released. I liked them so much, that I got the CD there, even though I was so poor at the time.
I also saw Ulali and Douglas spotted eagle.
Humbleness+Greatness= Mato
I just heard one of his tunes on WXPR Under Currents........he sure can wail on that guitar....!!!!
Cheers....!!!!
My brother from another mother, I first saw your band at Sturgis. Been a fan from the first CD.
Hes got a great tone.Especially when playing Jimi Hendrix songs
I saw him play in Tennessee a number of years ago. He is a very talented musician. Would love to see him perform live again.
word.
Saw him two years ago at the Tennessee Theater with the Jimi Hendrix experience. He's an amazing blues guitarist!
Very good reporting. Thank you for this. Beannachtaí libhse.

Amazing man,
was going through a hardship. its better. the real native ssonn💥
Dig it!
I like that he mentioned Jimi first. I still haven't forgiven Philip Sayces saying that Stevie was a big influence on him, and not even mentioning Jimi. It felt racist. I hear a lot of Stevie influence in Mato's playing, but he mentioned Jimi first.
that is good there doing this but the name indigenous it should be lift to native!!
