Just watched this again with a more sober mind 🤣 What a brilliant piece of filming, your perspective was similar but totally different 👌 I laughed so much with the evening banter...🤣🤣🤣 I'm so glad you left most of it in... You could of cut my chicken legs out though 🙄 Lates xxx
What a fantastic location! Loved the setting, the views, the chat and all. So good mate. Thanks for letting me tag along in the sidelines. Not sure I'd be happy to spend much time under the craggy rocks above though! You were brave walking in to the caves. Nice :) Cheers, Warren
It ‘looks all Sci-fi’ because Dr Who & Blake’s 7 shot scenes in places like this all the time. Good spot……apart from the turds 🫢😵💫‼️. Drone was pretty awesome 🎥👏👏👏. Tell Lee I said, last time I saw legs like his, they were hanging out of a nest😜👍. His legs are as sinewy as an Egyptian steak 🫢‼️
Great to see camp from your filming too, Dan. Them cave supports did look a bit dodge 😮 Brave man looking over the edge of the cliff. I couldn’t do it! Nice view from the tent in the morning. I’ll check out Burton Outdoors channel. He seems a funny fella! 😁👍🏼
Brilliant as always Dan , those caves did look very dodgy , surprised they haven't collapsed with the cliff erosion. I hate heights bit too close to the cliff to me . At least it was too cold to take your clothes of 😀😀🇬🇧👍🇬🇧👍
Lovely spot despite the human attempts to fertilise the soil. Interesting to see inside the 'caves', I wonder why they were quarried in this way and not in the traditional open cast? I have a theory...
Hello Dan & B O👍👍 By looking at the geology there, I'm surprised the entire area hasn't crumbled into the ocean. Unbelievable fracturing of the underlying strata and the incredibly nice drone footage shows just how unstable those cliffs are. Glad you guys made it through the night and the adventure was a success. Great filming and capturing the coast along with the usual great content. Thanks for bringing us along on the trip, no dinosaurs but the caves were scary enough... Enjoy!
I’ve not seen camping on Mars before so this was a first. The problem with Winspit is I think there is a car park not too far away so gets a lot of visitors. Best wild camps are at least 3 miles from a car park few walk their dogs that far…
I didn’t spot a carpark otherwise I might have used it. We walked from a nearby village. Although the caves were not our ultimate destination. We just ended up there. Lovely spot to spend a night though.
Looks very similar to the places I pitched at. I really like that spot. But you've reminded me of how tough it was to get the pegs into the ground 😄. Great vid!👍
I wouldve been very nervous in that huge cave, so much weight supported by those rock pillars urghhh! So relieved you chose not to sleep in a cave. (Do they ever collapse?) What beautiful views 😍
Just subsribed ti your channel, great video, thank you for sharing your journey with us ,🙏. Aplogies if ive missed this detail but whatvis your average pack weight please?
Thanks RJ, glad you liked the video. Pack weight really depends on what I'm doing and the season. Walking trips I'll keep things light, especially in the summer. I'd guess a bass weight of 12kg plus water. (And beer) With winter gear probably an extra few kg on that. And in the woods with tools, etc, probably well over 20kg
G'day Messrs CLB, BO, mag-bloody-nificent coastline guys. Yep those pillars don't exactly inspire confidence, good for a look in but I'd be sleeping outside too, lol. Btw, reminded me of "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet, a fantastic read IMO, should make a movie or series out of it. Mmmm fruity beer; had a few of the local version, (Mornington Pale Ale), @ father's day lunch the other day, pricey, but worth every penny, even better if you're not paying : ) sure makes a change from VB, (Victoria Bitter), aka "Victor Bravos", or ironically "Vitamin B", which alcohol takes out, lol. No wonder Vegemite is so popular here for the next day's breaky. Cheers Duke.
I miss VB, there was a time I lived near a bottle shop that sold it over here, but its not there anymore. I used to enjoy a schooner now and then ; ) interesting that alcohol removed Vit B I didn't know that.. I sometimes take a supplement if I'm going somewhere very buggie.. I'll have to double my dose I reckon.
@@CampLifeBushcraft Yep depletes Vitamin C too. If you don't have Vegemite, (though no B12 in it), and orange juice, Berocca is the go; and I use the empty aluminum tube for cotton balls with vas, can jam a few dozen in there and weighs next to nothing. Btw; how do you find cold beer, we're led to believe you folks prefer it warm or perhaps room temperature.
@@CampLifeBushcraft I made my comment early on in the video. As it progressed you were calling it both and I considered removing it. I thought all caves were by definition natural features. I just looked it up and I was wrong. I guess I'm the dumb ass. Cheers mate. I won't remove it now because you replied.
Orange chocolate .. mint chocolate .. they're all great Dan. Nice vision the crackling fire with the stars overhead. Bushyboy Oz.

Awesome Jurassic coast camp video I've been working there three weeks ago it's a great place thanks Dan for sharing a great video 👍

They’ve stood for a long time but they’re going to collapse one day I’m sure.
That looked a nice time out . Lovely coastline there. Some of those jenga rocks looked a bit iffy . Bet you 2 had a great time . Atb 👍
