In this tutorial, we will be discussing the differences between popular and scholarly sources, and the merits of using scholarly sources.
Update (September 10th, 2018): It should be noted that not every scholarly source is going to undergo the process of peer review. Certain sources like opinion pieces, letters to the editor, and other pieces of writing based on opinion rather than research do not have to undergo the process of peer review in order to be considered a scholarly source, as long as the source does provide something to prove its legitimacy.
