I've had test drives in early and recent Plus Sixes, as well as the manual and auto Plus Four, and I was surprised how much I preferred the Six. The extra performance certainly puts a smile on your face, and the extra bit of width in the cabin felt more comfortable to me. I like your video reminding me of the details in the car. Nice to get a close look at things again!
Thanks so much for your videos. The Mog three wheelers have finally arrived in N. America but still no relyable word on the PlusFours. The US version of the Morgan Web Site only alloys for configuration of the three wheelers at the moment. I have been told the PlusSix will never make it here. I'll be fine with a PlusFour, should they ever actually become available. Thanks again for your videos and Happy Holidays.
Thank you for this vidéo Julian. Not very helpful to choose between a 4 & 6😂. The engine noise looks sportier with the Plus 6. Do you regret the manual gearbox of your last Plus Four? Was it more agile than your 6? Is the Plus Six more "supercar" than the Plus Four? Thank you for your thoughts!!
The plus 6 feels like a cut above and a bit more ‘intensional’. I don’t miss the manual, although I do have two other cars with a stick to keep that driver experience.
Thanks for the video and love the spec of your plus 6. Gorgeous colour combo. I currently drive a ‘77 Porsche 911 Targa and I’m seriously considering selling it to get a Plus 4. I popped into Brands Hatch Morgan a few weeks ago to look at their Sports Grey one. The only thing putting me off is am I too young to drive a Morgan at 48??? 😂
I had a manual plus 4 22model. The changes on the 23 make a huge difference. I’d advise (controversially) the auto. Just take one for a drive and you’ll see how good the handling and performance are. There are a couple of good switchbacks on the road from Ightham to the top of Wrotham hill/ west kingsdown near brands hatch Morgan. You don’t need to be going fast to have a lot of smiles on those corners. As for the age thing…. It’s all about the spec. I’d make it mean looking. Full on aggression. Otherwise it can be too ‘country drive’ opposed to ‘blast down the lanes’ in appearance. If you can stretch to the plus 6, then do it. The stance gives it a bit more presence….. and crazy performance. Although the plus four won’t disappoint. Tell Sarah and she’ll help you hit the mark. Don’t forget, they’ll pretty much do anything you ask for.
loved the video,i to lust after morgans and have saved for years to replace my sadly departed ancient plus 8,sadly ulez has ended my dream of another plus 8.plus 6s are to expensive for me so brought a bmw 240i same engine for a third of the money for the same year plus 6.its a brilliant car but it hasnt taken the morgan lust away

I’ve been told US dealerships can take orders, not that that helps with timings. Have you got any ideas on the spec you’ll choose?

There are more accomplished cars for less money, yet they’re never going to make you feel how a Morgan feels.
