I heard this song for the first time yesterday on tictok of all places. I can't stop listening to it. So much passion and pain, and as part of the working class, I totally feel his message. These pricks in DC need to remember who pays their salary. The "Rich men north of Richmond" need to take note, We the People are tired of their sh!t.

I took the “young men killing themselves” a bit different. It wasn’t about food but a commentary on not only suicide, but how men and masculinity have been under assault. We shouldn’t have to be ashamed or feel guilty for being men.

And the line about the dollar not going as far is about inflation and how our dollar doesn't buy what it used to. Then, on top of that, it is taxed to no end. Taxed when we bring it home and taxed when we spend it. Just think prior to 1913, we were able to keep our whole paycheck.

This song gave me a lump in my throat. I’m a a guy who’s close to 40 years old, I live on a fixed income as a fully disabled combat veteran. It makes me literally tear up which RARELY HAPPENS in fact the only times I’ve cried in the last 15 years was when I lost one of my best friends whom I met while we were stationed in Alaska together almost 20 years ago, when President Trump was elected and when my dog Precious had to be put to sleep. I didn’t cry when I lost my mother, my nana, my cousin, either aunt etc. I grew up in Boston and I had two parents who were baby boomers and never cried. Yet what I’ve seen happen to this country that I LOVE SO MUCH I WOULD’VE GLADLY DIED FOR HER….makes me SICK!! WHEN DOES IT END? I'm from the foothills of rural Appalachia, this is how we feel as we watch our fathers die far too young of cancer and we struggle in shame to keep the land all before us were able to, but not us, at least it doesnt look that way at this point
People spend thousands to line studio walls to help achieve a sound. He steps outside, presses record, and sounds……… well, you fuckin heard it, that was an amazing voice. I could both see and hear the passion in that song as well.

Well, look at the areas that the poor can afford to live in. Not much in the way of vegetables to eat and gyms, if they are close enough, are generally too expensive for them to afford.

Coal miners, etc and then “minors” on the island. #2 he is talking about how the hardworking “young men” are working themselves 6 feet in the ground and or suicide, just to get taxed to the extreme just so someone that is obese on welfare can buy another box of fudge rounds and go further down the rabbit hole of obesity. Awesome song and awesome reaction. I don't ever leave comments but I felt this needed to be said. I love to see a fellow Virginian coming to light. I also want to touch on the part where you talked about food... I've been a vegetarian all my life, not by choice but I was born that way, I've never liked the taste, smell, or look of meat. As a vegetarian I thought I was pretty healthy as I grew up and thought I was following all the "healthy" ways of eating. I've lived with IBS my whole life and getting into my late 20's I started getting debilating pains in my knees, back, elbows, shoulders, and I started to notice severe psoriasis in my scalp. Fast forward to me now being 35 and actually learning what real healthy food is, I started to eat only alkaline organic food, with absolutly no vegetable oils and no dairy, just clean alkaline organic food. My joints no longer ache, my psoriasis is gone, I use to live in constant pain from a motorcycle accident in 2014 that broke my tibia in multiple places and it never healed. I no longer have that pain anymore and to really top it off I no longer have IBS. I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW LONG I'VE GONE WITHOUT HAVING SEVERE STOMACH CRAMPS EVERY DAY UNTIL I MADE THIS CHANGE. The chemicals in modern day food take a while to catch up to you fully but our bodies show us signs along the way. Listen to your body people and follow the money. It's all about the money.
