Thank you for calling him a musician. He doesn't even want to admit it or accept it. It's the structure of simplicity that we have been longing for and whether he set out for it and stumbled or became a household name he's keeping it simple.

This man is a storm of emotions… I mean that with respect.
Great reaction he said in one of his videos that he was at his lowest point just over a month ago and prayed to God to help him. He got sober and he wrote these songs (while he was going through his dark times over the last couple of years) and is happy if it just makes just one person know they weren't on their own and to help them. That is why he wasn't willing to sell his soul to the devil (the big music companies) He is genuine through and through. Everyone needs to go to his channel and hit the like button. The wolves are starting to surround and trying to take him down and he needs our support more than ever from those people.

I'm 68, retired blue collar strugling on SS. I'm a veteran. Seen some hard times I thought toughened me.
But this song broke me, crying like a baby, barely can see my screen, goosbumps on my arms and neck, dogs huddling on my feet looking at me with that "What's wrong, dad?" look. I think suicide is a sin, but lately Ive been yearning to go back home, to a peaceful higher dimension. My tears are from knowing from this song I'm not alone, and give me hope that together ee can make this a better place for all of us. To live, not just survive, in this time given us by God.

I think what makes OA unique is that he writes and sings from personal experience. He's not singing someone else's songs or singing a banal or trivial "love" ballad. He articulates in song and poetry things that we have felt and experienced, pain, suffering. It transcends politics and strikes at the soul.

This mans waking up the souls of the world, by far my favorite music in the 32 years iv been alive. And he is referring to heaven and earthly heaven, family in the country side together, generations! I live with 3 generations me my son and my dad, and my grandfather passed right before my son came along, generations and family has been lacking in this country awhile it's about time to bring it back

It is strange that music can make you hurt so much, and yet you want to embrace it because it touches a kindred feeling in your soul. It's like listening to Jeff Buckley's . I hope everyone who's experiencing that hopeless, lost feeling finds some way to work through it. Talk to a friend, pour that feeling into a story or poem, read a Bible, talk to a professional if you can. For me, I go out to a spot where I can't hear any people, sit by a lake or river, and just marvel at the beauty all around us.
