To address the comment many people are leaving that people should leave them on, if you read the instructions they say you need to leave them on for a prolonged time for your eyes to adjust to the full effect. This video, and many others are just of the beginning reaction and flipping them on and off to see the difference in color we are already experiencing from the moment we put them on.

She was amazed.. up until then, she had thought that green, a color was just "green" - one shade. She was most amazed to realize that there is dark green, light green, pale green, etc. She was going to really enjoy all the shades of red, and other colors.

To everyone who is moved by these videos, seriously in the US, contact your congress rep and tell them in no uncertain terms they need to pass legislation which will cover these glasses. I haven't researched it. But I'm told they are expensive. These are not glasses with multi pair of frames for fashion. They correct someone's vision. For me personally, I live in Virginia, seeing an Eastern blue bird with their wings fully displayed while soaring, and a red tipped blackbird also while soaring, the colors are so vivid and beautiful, and gone in a flash. Everyone who is able to use these glasses. Because they don't work for everyone, should have the opportunity to have them. It took forever for cochlear devices to be approved. Flood their offices with letters and request they send you a written response in return. They are required by law to do so. I'm old and don't do social media, but if you do, make this a project. Get one of those Kardashians on board to post it ... for free. Sorry to ramble. But every single one of these I watch always gives me goosebumps and I tear up with the rest. I watched one the other day where a couple in my generation, the wife and family bought a pair for their beloved husband and father and others. The wife just sobbed for joy for her husband to finally understand what color is. Think of some catchy hashing and go get yourself a million views ... congress, not the president. Is where the changes happen. Once they draft the legislation the house votes and if passed it then goes to the senate, and if passed there, it goes to the president to either pass or veto. Kinda annoyed me that she kept taking them off instead of reading the packet and leaving them on. Still happy that she was able to experience seeing all the different colors that she had never seen before. Congrats!!!
I don't think it's that important. The manufacturer simply assumes that on average it would be better to keep them on just to get used to them but it seems that some people can see the difference _instantly_ so they naturally want to compare, and for them this approach works perfectly.

Jade Lynn honestly, I did and still do the same thing she did. I am still seeing colours that are new to me. Sometimes I have to flip my glasses to make sure what I am seeing is what my brain is seeing.

I don't get it.What is the point of wearing the glasses for 1 second and then 15 seconds without it?
I tried watching your video a couple of days ago, but gave up halfway through because I was struggling to understand what was being said. The problem with adding music to supposedly defeat the fountain is that the music doesn't help to cancel out the masking effect of the sound of the fountain; instead, it compounds that masking effect. If you could see your way to reposting your video without the music, I would attempt to view it again (with only the fountain to deal with).

Although I like Olli myself and found it funny to suddenly see him walking by casually ;)
Well, I guess it's alright, since the video has been around for almost a year and hopefully been enjoyed by quite a lot of people until the discovery. I wish Aria all the best and hope she sees the fun and humour in it :)

It really depends on the person. I think Enchroma should rewrite that instruction a bit as this reaction appears to be highly individual. As in: "we recommend but...". In this case she seemed a bit uncomfortable _at first,_ and removing the glasses probably helped. Like getting used to Swedish cold dip :-)
