Ya I feel like personally like there just needs to have more respect for the game and then work toward what you want. In my experience people are just trying to get out of it what they want (COD players just wanna shoot stuff) but the game is LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Tactics and strategy is crucial. We need to respect your role and work to make a good game each game then figure out what people wanna do after we are able to fulfill our role for everyone to have a good game. I've been harsh lately too with players hahaha but been trying to dial that back in

If T17 wants to REALLY see HLL saved and prosper they need to provide a REAL and WORKABLE anti-cheat solution, stronger, more flexible admin tools and open hosting to people who can provide their own servers (with a required clearance check by T17, of course).
The way you can justify the same cartridge doing different damage is the velocity lost due to shorter barrel length and operating the bolt in a semi/ full auto. Such as 8mm K98 vs FG42. In real life it’s a minor difference but it is there and boom their is your reason
You've got to be the guy that sets the example. Be a squad lead, and talk to your squad mates. Sometimes they'll talk back and sometimes they won't. Sometimes the people who talk back will be cool and you can squad up with them again the next round. Then become friends with them. Wash rinse repeat and now you're never running around in silence in crap squads.
Honestly, I don't think it's a matter of the role players vs the comp players, though I have very strong feelings towards one of these groups that I'll keep to myself for the sake of civility. I want to see a show of solidarity with all the server owners, a protest in which they all shut down their servers for a day or 2 and show T17 that without the communities within the game, they really don't have anything to stand on. Sure, the casuals could just go to the official servers, and that's expected, but there's not enough of them to accommodate all those players, that and the experience in those servers are drastically worse than community ran. There's a lot of community figures who, for lack of a better phrase, willingly let T17 shovel shit in their mouths, who are actively scared to criticize T17 because that's where their content comes from, and if the game gets enough negative press and flatlines, they don't have an alternative route set up. And these are the people who unfortunately have the most "pull".
I'm neither a comp player nor a role player and I don't understand why these groups should have opposing views on the future of the game. The biggest problem is (and always has been) the lack of onboarding for new players. This is not CoD (unless you are playing Kaiser 😂!) and requires an investment of time to 'get' how the game works. This understanding is missing on the majority of games on public servers, where probably 1 in 3 or 4 games is actually a 'good game'. T17 paid too much money for Hell Let Loose, thinking they could turn it into a franchise like some other fps games, but HLL as we know and love it, is not that kind of game. We've seen how bad T17's efforts have been so far. T17's continuing ownership of our game and lack of engagement with the community will kill it. My hope is that they will cut their losses and sell the title to another developer before the game is a shadow of what it once was and could be again.
Replying to my own comment. I think what I'm saying is that T17 are not interested in comp or role players. They just want new players paying £50 each for an ageing game
lets see what they decide to do the kext update will make or break the game bc every youtube -> their only marketing rn is pissed at how they treat the game XD
Hi Kaiser, this is not only a very noble but also necessary statement. I fully agree on your opinion. Personally, I only play at a few public servers but I feel like there's too little players that actually want to play for a common goal, win the game. Too many lone wolfs and people without mics. That not what you ment, I know, but it frustrates my in some kind of way that there are not so many ways to play the game as it should be (in a competitive way). This said, well done with the video.
I'm always hearing good and bad ideas being thrown around i love the game the only changes i think up are adding headlights and destruction even if its just visual destruction rather than material i don't understand the process tho so I trust the people who do to figure it out
100% agree on bolt actions. especially the kar98, or any bolt action with 5 round magazine. u.s need one as well if they were to do this. each faction should have 1 bolt action that can kill with one shot if hit above the waist up to 300m or at least 250m. fix the main bugs in the game. no more maps or skins until they sort the bugs. as for suggestions in their official discord. they need to moderate them again properly. and tbh, close it. close the suggestions channel while you work on the bugs.
I’m apart of the comp community but I’m a ww2 history buff at the same time I’m a black American ✌🏽 I main Germany on hll I love the German l stuff in ww2 history and the uniforms Me personally I use Fallschirmjägar uniforms I love the German paratroopers 🇩🇪❤️
I think the same as you when it comes to the suggestions. But remember the older attempted boycott of the game? That was just about 1 of the 3 parts of the playerbase you are mentioning - the competitive one. And the boycott went the way that some clans used the opportunity to seed their servers easier instead of closing the servers down. Even that 1 part of the HLL community wasn't able to pull the rope as one team. And here you want to unify all 3 parts of the playerbase. But what the heck, I personally welcome any and all initiatives to make HLL great again.
But remember. Obviously and very likely, no any kind of even superUnified community would make the Team17's development quality to go any higher. They keep making bugs even while changing the most trivial things or things unrelated to the new bugs they create. It has felt like Team17 is simply not cut out for this kind of game at all.

I am a comp player who also plays a lot of public and this is my view. I want all of the bugs fixed (mounting mg for example) before more content is released, there are a lot of players who would probably also like the bugs to be fixed but value new skins and maps more and i'm okay with that just make sure the new maps isn't riddled with more bugs. Historical accuracy is very cool but i don't want it to come at the price of balance, and with that i don't mean all factions need to have the same weapons with different skins, Americans and Germans is a good example of fairly balanced teams. As someone who loves the roof glitches I am aware A LOT of people hate them. I think they add so much to the game both if you are on the roof or on the ground, my solution to this would be to open up the roofs to everyone with ladders or holes in the walls and roofs you can walk through. If you don't know how to glitch through the windows or realise you can jump from fence to roof to higher roof then i can see why you would hate it.
Legit just uninstalled the game... Spawn die, Spawn die, rinse and repeat. I did manage to get 10 confimred tho!... I decided to give it one more game, spawned in main took a vehicle full of 6 people which one decided to jump out and run in front of the moving car, then 10 minutes later I get TKed. There is 0 communication in this game when it's the type of game that NEEDS it. This game will never listen to the community, it was released in 2019 then in 2022 sold for $54,696,090.00 canadian rubles. They have no excuse now.
First and foremost fix all the bs problems on console. I’ve already uninstalled and not coming back until they get off their asses and fix the game. Crashing since the game came to Xbox is uncalled for. VoIP still not working properly is uncalled for. All the bugs that just keep coming back every time they add something to the game is uncalled for. Nothing else should be added to the game until t17 figures out what they are doing with unreal engine.

They’d definitely need to make the bolt actions faster because you can shoot the m1 grand 8 times before you can shoot the kar twice
