Dan, as a powdered snow enthusiast, here's your hacks To not sink, use leather boots To see if it's powdered snow, there's little blue snowflakes and grains within the design, rather than the faded blue gradient of normal snow. Hope it helps! You might see it clearer if you know what you're looking for
Wearing any piece will be enough to not freeze if ya ok with falling into it. Leather horse armor makes horses not freeze too, but they can't walk on it.
Quick tip since you mentioned looking for the deep dark at some point. I would suggest going in with just a bed, a double chest, a stack of easy to break blocks, and a pickaxe. Since the warden is super difficult to fight or even sneak around, you might die a lot, so it’s better to have minimal stuff on you so whenever you die you don’t have to keep trying to locate your stuff. The bed would be for a close respawn point, the double chest so that you don’t have to loot everything all at once (or to keep armor and food for the trip back home) and a pickaxe in case there’s blocks you want down there. This way you can go in stress-free and not have to worry about being extra careful or loosing your stuff. Good luck Dan!
This was absolutely needed. He raised me when I was a child, but then I lost interest for a while. I came back about the same time he started Minecraft again because it came up on my feed. I didn’t realise how much I actually missed this.
If you used lunar client’s saturation display it actually shows that eating food with almost full hunger bars is literally the same as eating it when you need to. I noticed people eating when only necessary when its just a placebo
Killing pillagers now gives you a ominous potion, by drinking it you get a omen effect. so you no longer get the bad omen effect right away, you can choose when to get it. By drinking the potion in a trial chamber, the mobs that spawn become much MUCH harder, however, you can get an ominous key and unlock an ominous vault. From there, you can craft a mace with a heavy core. The heavy core can only be found in ominous vaults.
22:03 unenchanted leather boots is all u need. When going in the deep dark, bring LOTS of wool. Wool allows u to walk around quietly and you can use it to surround chests before u open it so it don’t make noise.

For the sinking in the snow problem: You only sink in the powdered snow, not the normal snow block or snow layer (they have a slightly different texture if you look closely). If navigating around them is too tedious then you can jump across it while placing blocks under you (as you did) or just wear leather boots to be able to simply walk across it without sinking. I liked to think that at 37:11 when Dan places the torches it’s muscle memory from when he played MCC doing Sands of Time after clearing a section they’d place carpet the same way as the torches indicating to the team that part is done just as he does in the chamber
yo dan! the different discs in tricky trials are Creator(music box version), Creator(Normal Version), and Precipice. Creator(music box version, the orange one with the yellow center) is rarely dropped by trial chamber pots. The normal version of creator(the blue disc with a yellow center), is rarely dropped from ominous vaults,, and precipice is rarely dropped by regular vaults

Sometimes treasure maps will be glitched. Idk why they do this, but I've found quite a few glitched maps, especially in Java edition. Also 57:50 That chicken had a Baby Drowned on it, meaning there was a Drowned Jockey for a split second.
Pro tip for Dan: you can “duplicate/copy” armour trims with diamonds and a block related to the trim (I’ll let you figure that out (or just use the crafting book))

To deal with the powdered snow, you just gotta craft some leather boots. Also, the treasure map isn’t bugged, you gotta make the map bigger till you see the X :)
No it is bugged, all treasurer maps I seen are pre-make (you don't have to click on them) and have the X on them from the start
Yea it is a bug where it sometimes fail to load them properly.
@@Conor1_23 really? I’ve had times where you just had to expand the map and the X shows up. Maybe it’s a difference between Bedrock and Java

Quick tip for next time, in the big room of the trial chamber that has the water, there is a secret under the middle platform. (It doesn’t always spawn though)

@@paxdamaxgaming4920 I don’t really know because I haven’t personally done a chamber yet, but in his stream a few days ago, the devs said there was loot under the middle platform.
@@That_Nugget_Man maybe but I’ve looted multiple and never found anything under there and the devs did also say that you can find trail chamber maps in trial chambers in that same livestream and that is not in the loot table so it might not be in the game yet?

You can walk on powdered snow with leather boots. You can also clear it out using water that flows from above the block. You can also tell powdered snow and snow apart by hitting it and seeing your breaking progress.
Every time dan passed by a barrel I screamed so hard “GET THE BARREL FOR MORE STORAGE” 😭 I believe he has forgotten that feature about barrels 🕊️

In Minecraft, breeze rods can be used for the following:

Sometimes treasure maps will be glitched. Idk why they do this, but I've found quite a few glitched maps, especially in Java edition.
Also 57:50 That chicken had a Baby Drowned on it, meaning there was a Drowned Jockey for a split second.

Pro tip for Dan: you can “duplicate/copy” armour trims with diamonds and a block related to the trim (I’ll let you figure that out (or just use the crafting book))
