    I’m going to make this tomorrow! All the recipes I saw had you hand stirring for 30 minutes. I’d love the butter added too.

    I'm jealous of you guys boiling away with no snow, in shorts and tshirts...
    Up in quebec we're usually knee deep in snow until april.
    Now I have an idea of how to make the butter! Have made probably more that my own weight it solid granulated maple sugar. The same with taffy. So the butter doesn't look much harder to make!

    Looks delicious. How many cups of maple syrup do boil to 235 degrees before removing and adding the butter?

    Wow! This looks delicious! Your skill in the kitchen amazes me! Samuel is learning all your tricks. He'll certainly be a catch for someone someday. Has Franklin become camera shy? He isn't in many of your videos anymore.

      @@prvg7851just boil till 232-235°f then pull off heat let cool to it starts to drop below 100°f then stir until it thickens up and boom you have real 100% all natural maple butter. If you want sugar instead keep heating until it reaches 262°f then remove from heat and stir vigorously for a few minutes and boom it instantly turns to 100% pure maple sugar that can be used in place of regular sugar or brown sugar and it's better for you

    I bought a jar of maple butter jam. We seldom use it so end up the jam gets hard like a stone. What should I do to make it softer?

    Since I don't have access to a maple tree, do you know if I can make this with pure organic maple syrup from a good store and heat it to the proper temperature and proceed with your directions?

    • @TwinCitiesAdventures
      @TwinCitiesAdventures  3 роки тому

      Absolutely, just put it on the stove top and boil it to 235°F and then do all of the steps that I did after that and you will have your own maple butter. Just make sure that you keep your eye on the pan while it’s boiling so it doesn’t boil over.

    does adding the butter reduce how long it lasts in the fridge?
