This is a great follow up video. Thank you for making it. I'll have to go to the store and check out the clear cast. I ordered one of the notebooks for my daughter. She isn't always very careful with her things (she's 22 mind you🤪). I'll definitely seal it with clear cast instead of Tombow aqua glue.
Thank you! Yeah, as much as I like aqua glue, with time it starts flaking off. I mean, if there is no opportunity to use clear cast, aqua glue will be the best option for key chains but other than that it is better to use clear cast. Notebooks looks also great with resin but it is too messy to apply it and it takes around 48 hours to get completely dry
@@DiamondPaintingbyNat Thank you for telling me how long it takes clear cast to dry. I added the aqua glue to a very large diamond painting of yellow orchids that I'm giving as a gift. Now I'm feeling a little sad about that. Oh well, I'll fix it when it starts to flake. Have a super day. 😊
Thank you! To tell you the truth I prefer not to seal but frame dps. Unless they are going to be exposed to the environment or can't be framed behind the glass (like some special shaped partials).
Thank you! Yeah, in the end, resin works the best for these kind of dps. I'd use only clear cast for key chains or any other dp that is exposed to frequent friction.
I’m going to hang my Diamond Painting on my new apt. door in a hallway where it could get dust, flies. Can you recommend the resin and what brand would you suggest, the resin ?
I got it from Michael's. I didn't buy it online. Just Google "clear cast": it is sold both in Michael's and Walmart. I talked about it more detailed in my video # 54. If you happen to be in Michael's, just ask the employees for either clear cast or resin. They always have it in the store
Very informative video Nat! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you!

Wonderful video , Nat! Thanks for showing us what works well for keychains! Hugs! :)
Thank you! Clear cast is the best for them in my opinion.
thanks for up date am new to this so trying to learn as much as possible.

I would suggest Liquatex varnish, if there is no opportunity to frame it. Resin is good but way too messy to deal with and time consuming .
Awesome video! Thank you! Where did you buy those dolls? They're beautiful! 😍
Thank you! I got them on Aliexpess.
Thanks nay where did you get the clear cast can you put a link to it thanks
Hi, thank you! I got it from Michael's, I didn't purchase it online.
Can you put up a link for the acrylic sealer.
There was no acrylic sealer. It how the key chain came: the face is made with acrylic (or whatever they are made of) by the keychain manufacturer
@@DiamondPaintingbyNat I'm sorry I meant resin sesler
