After multiple years of longing, the finale has arrived. I must say that you and everyone over the years brought out the best in this project. I technically came across this on the Starman forums and wanted to see what this was about. After seeing all the episodes, I did not come away disappointed. Thank you for the privilege of seeing this over the years. Now let's see what comes about for Undertale's seventh anniversary.
The editing is beautiful, in a way you’ve transformed the story that no one can really expect. We know how it’s told and what happens. But through your magic you turn this into a cinema that tells it in a way that just destroys any and all expectations. Leaves us all wowed. What a series your DETERMINATION is inspiring!!!
I don't know if I can properly put this into words, but this was like experiencing undertale for the first time. Something that I didn't get to do because I accidentally spoiled the entire game for myself. Even when I played it later it just felt bittersweet knowing that I had lost the intended experience a long time ago, but that changed now... Thanks to You and Everyone involved in this project, I finally got to actually experience one of my favorite games...This project was years in the making and my God was it worth it! Finally, we can bring a happy ending to this tale. 1:59 Love how you perfectly timed Heartache coming in with the music as Frisk reaches Asgore. 3:08 ahsdiua the impact sound from Asgore landing off to the side lmao- 4:45 Oh my god Asgore's whimpering. xD Poor guy. 5:11 ashduashduih 5:32 Darby Cupit is always a gem. 7:20 Thank you Mettaton love how that was done. 7:57 Haha love how that comes out like Toriel's muttering it to Undyne and Alphys while trying to prevent Frisk from noticing. 8:47 Love the roar of the vine rushing in and everyone shouting as they're scooped up. Love that reverse bell sound leading into Asriel turning into his adult form, and the effects are perfect! Love the RPG displacement, fitting with the rainbow barrier and for just how much power Asriel possesses now! 13:39 Holy crap those sword sound effects are cool, even some jingling for the mini stars at the end! 13:56 And the lightning's just as cool! Super flashy effects for purposefully flashy attacks, love it. 14:18 The perfect amount of soft vigor Tailoredvoices gives for "But it refused", with a more determined push as they say "It's the end!" Awesome. 14:38 Nice, and now just quick reforms upon a death to keep the pace of the battle. 14:54 Awesome how "Give up" is timed with the swords slashing down again, and Sean sounds like he even put more strain on his voice there to make it more fitting! 15:24 Ooo menacingly deep evil laugh. And once again these effects man! 15:55 Wide goat boy for super cool transition. Everything about this Burn in Despair phase is terrifying, the music, the ambient glitching being more oppressive, Asriel's voice deepening, the sound effects becoming deeper and more echoing, awesome to set the scene for how hopeless it's supposed to feel here. 16:52 The narrator sounds so sad... 18:03 Once again narrator sound hype af! 18:12 Oo cool idea with the VHS effects on screen and on the lost souls' voices, showing how their minds are being clouded! 20:15 Oooh my goodness, the music fading out with that whooshing sound effect to set up the coming scene... I think I'm gonna cry. 20:22 Just letting the music fade in as that awesome cinematic shot of Asriel finding Chara pans over. This entire sequence was done so beautifully, each recreated shot, and then a straight up full animation for Asriel lashing out as Frisk!? Made by AbsoluteDream!?!? Yup- ok- tears are flowing now. 21:15 Attack sound effects are still so cool. And I love how, with Asriel getting more desperate, the effect on his voice starts to separate from it, finally fading as Asriel's act drops. 22:00 MORE ANIMATION!? 22:31 The stunning animation as the lighting builds up, the sound effects accentuating blast, Asriel's guttural scream as the music finally builds up to it climax, absolutely gorgeous!!! 22:46 And the memories flashing by, keeping you holding on through the damage, I'm gonna cry again- 23:50 Then the music and noise fading gradually, just to hear Asriel's voice, unaltered, breaking down, with only the piano underneath it... what a beautiful moment. 24:48 And the façade truly drops to show Asriel for what he is, a crying kid, scared of being alone. :( Meredith you did Asriel's voice perfectly, the sniffling, his strained throat, the moroseness in it. Perfect. 26:44 And Asriel even sounds like he's about to. :') 28:24 Omg I love Asriel getting more upset before being cut off as Frisk hugs him- super wholesome. 30:17 The iconic "what'd you catch?" "TEARS!" lines done perfectly haha. 35:08 He's so awkward I love him. 36:34 Amazing job everyone. :D 39:10 Wait there's more?? After five insane years, this project has finally reached its end. Looking from the outside, and in the early days from the inside, you clearly had reservations about the huge undertaking this entire thing was gonna be. Re-castings, huge effort in the audio/visual department and hiring extra people for all for the labor of love must've been insane. Even giving up on it at one point. But you didn't. You finished it through and through and worked around every single schedule conflict or other mishap and delivered a fantastic ending culminating with years worth of old voice recordings from myself, Sean Chiplock and others. Had a constant smile on my face. Out of all the fan projects I took part in as a teenager, this is one of the only ones I still don't regret doing. Voicing Sans was fun as hell. Funny since I originally wanted the role of Papyrus and was so dead set on it until you suggested Sans. I'm so glad that it went that way in the end. This truly is the end of an era in many ways. Burying our past projects and finally looking forward into new horizons. Thank you, Jon, for finishing what we worked together on all those years ago.

Oh, man...this episode...wait until you hear what you helped with. It wasn't just the voice readalongs. When you showed the reflection of all the friendships made, all that Frisk and their friends did together...it gave me a big rush. I realized, all of a sudden, that I am loved, that people care about me, that I have friends and family billions could only wish and dream of, that I love and care for others more than I know, and that they love and care for me far more than I could understand, and more than I even take for granted. These feelings... the love, the happiness, the care... I have not felt like this for a very long time. I never realized how I am to them, or how they are to me. How fortunate they and I are. What you all showed and did, it reminded me of what precious things I have that many don't, and how I can't take it for granted. I guess all I can say is, thank you, for zoning me into these feelings and realizations with your fantastic work. 🥰

"with what little power you have left, you might be able to save something else." The song that follows is called "Save the world". Do you all think it's named like that, because your friends are your world?
Maybe? That's definitely part of it. Like throughout the game "determination" and the player's ability to save the game are interlinked. But in the final battle, since Asriel has absorbed all of the monsters in the underground and is now far more powerful than you, the game changes the context of what the "save" button means. Your only way out is to remember the fun you had and the friends you made and remind the characters of it. It's a really clever subversion. By saving the game, you're saving the world. One of my favorite gaming moments.

@@Neutral-Guy-18 I actually asked about a Deltarune Cinematic Dub a while back and they said they have no plans to right now, but if they did it would be once all 7 Chapters release. If they do deciding on making one when all the Chapters come out I’m all for seeing it. I’d love to see some of the moments with voices.

I will say, I recommend that until we get a confirmation on whether Deltarune Cinematic Dub will become a thing, Man On The Internet has done some videos on Chapter 1 and 2 of Deltarune, and they do voice act some of the more important scenes in the game. There's also another channel called InfiniDubs and although I haven't seen it yet, they're currently working on a Deltarune Dub of their own with Chapter 1 and 2, and they're on their second episode right now. From what I know, it is ongoing so I might check it out soon to see how it is.

It wasn't just the voice readalongs. When you showed the reflection of all the friendships made, all that Frisk and their friends did together...it gave me a big rush. I realized, all of a sudden, that I am loved, that people care about me, that I have friends and family billions could only wish and dream of, that I love and care for others more than I know, and that they love and care for me far more than I could understand, and more than I even take for granted. These feelings... the love, the happiness, the care... I have not felt like this for a very long time. I never realized how I am to them, or how they are to me. How fortunate they and I are.
What you all showed and did, it reminded me of what precious things I have that many don't, and how I can't take it for granted. I guess all I can say is, thank you, for zoning me into these feelings and realizations with your fantastic work. 🥰

"with what little power you have left, you might be able to save something else." The song that follows is called "Save the world". Do you all think it's named like that, because your friends are your world?
Maybe? That's definitely part of it. Like throughout the game "determination" and the player's ability to save the game are interlinked. But in the final battle, since Asriel has absorbed all of the monsters in the underground and is now far more powerful than you, the game changes the context of what the "save" button means. Your only way out is to remember the fun you had and the friends you made and remind the characters of it. It's a really clever subversion. By saving the game, you're saving the world. One of my favorite gaming moments.

@@Neutral-Guy-18 I actually asked about a Deltarune Cinematic Dub a while back and they said they have no plans to right now, but if they did it would be once all 7 Chapters release. If they do deciding on making one when all the Chapters come out I’m all for seeing it. I’d love to see some of the moments with voices.

@@Neutral-Guy-18I really hope so too! I will say, I recommend that until we get a confirmation on whether Deltarune Cinematic Dub will become a thing, Man On The Internet has done some videos on Chapter 1 and 2 of Deltarune, and they do voice act some of the more important scenes in the game.
There's also another channel called InfiniDubs and although I haven't seen it yet, they're currently working on a Deltarune Dub of their own with Chapter 1 and 2, and they're on their second episode right now. From what I know, it is ongoing so I might check it out soon to see how it is.
