I'm from north central Ohio. I live a hop-skip and jump away from Cedar Point. I get a season pass every year. I came to Gatlinburg in August and went to Dollywood for the 1st time. It was so amazing. I'd rather drive 9 hours to Dollywood than go back to Cedar Point. I'm actually moving to the area next spring. So it looks like I will be getting a season pass to Dollywood. Thank you for this video. I have been watching and enjoying your videos for a few months now.
@@AdventureIsOutThere I consider myself blessed and I just can’t complain one bit! Some that were affected would love to only have the damage I have. Some folks will never be found in sure
We're finishing our first year of Dollywood visits. Heading back for our third trip from central NC on November 6. Plan to also do a December trip before Christmas. We bought Gold Passes before our first trip and we learned the vast majority of the information from your video similar to this last year. It is extremely helpful. We plan to purchase our 2025 Gold Passes as soon as they're available.
Several things very useful & helpful I believe. Defining “season pass” is very good for those not familiar. I thought cost comparison across the last 3 years was very interesting. The breakdown of what the 3 types of passes get you is very helpful; have not seen anyone explain it so thoroughly! I really like how I can scroll to specific points of interest as you have broken it down on the scroll bar if we are just looking for something specific. Best time to come is very helpful! Well done!!
Thanks for the info. I will be renewing my diamond pass. Its been worth it as much as i go to dollywood lol. I love riding the coasters but especially big bear..
Thank you for this. Not entirely sure we're gonna go to Dollywood often enough next year to warrant a season pass, but now it's a good reference to look into should we decide to. Went there the first time this past Wednesday and had a lot of fun despite Fall Break making it very busy. Definitely intend to go back sometime next year. I think my 10 year old prefers Soaky Mountain Waterpark and I'm also considering whether I'd want a season pass for that one. We're up in Greeneville so it's about an hour+ drive down there.
Thank you, for this amazing video! Wish I had seen it sooner! Does the free monthly cinnamon bread only apply to those who got the early passes? I don’t see it listed now as a perk of diamond.
Great info! Question on the Gold Pass BAFF: Is that only 2 free tix for the entire term of the pass? Or is it bring 2 friends as many times during the pass season? (Asking for a 'friend' LOL) Thanks very much!!!
Just found your channel and this video was both informative and helpful. Gave you a thumbs up and subscribed. I do have one question that I'm sure you will be able to answer. My family is going to Dollywood on Oct 17th. Will we be able to upgrade our tickets to season passes while we are there?
If you have existing passes you can renew them for the 2025 season on the 17th. You just can’t buy new 2025 passes until October 28th. Welcome to the channel!
@@AdventureIsOutThere , ok. Thank you for the response. Do you know if we can apply the tickets purchased on the 17th towards the purchase of passes on the 28th? Trying to decide if we should go on the 17th or wait until the 28th or after? Does that make sense?
We just went to Dollywood this past Thursday, 10/10/24, and it was the busiest I've ever seen. They were using the Splash Country parking lot and all the big rides had 45-70 minute waits all day. I figured all of Florida came to Tennessee to avoid Hurricane Milton.
With almost all surrounding counties having fall break it tends to be packed also march during soring break and the sevier county days worst days to go
Thank you. I thought about the season passes. Since you explained them, I decided that wouldn't work for us. Thanks!! Also, do you know if Roaring Fork or Parsons trail(?) ( Cades Cove) are open. Heading up there week after next. Again, thanks for the great info.
A couple of clarifications on the Silver passes and associated Bring-a-Friend tickets: The Silver BAFs actually have MORE blackout dates than the sliver passes. There are two different calendars to check. If 2025 is like this season was, I think the Silver BAFs won’t be valid on any Fridays or Saturdays for the whole season. Also Silver passes do NOT get a 10% discount on food and merch. The 10% discount only applies to lodging at the resorts. (This was a disappointment for us, because at a quick glance the chart is slightly misleading.) We always enjoy your videos-super helpful!
Looks like they made that change public of taking away the 10% silver passes have after this video was created. Same with the BAF blackout dates as the calendar was not out yet. They have always traditionally had BAF tickets match what the pass they were associate with. Thanks!
Thank you for the information as always. When would be a good time to see the fall colors during Octobers generally? Like is the whole month pretty much a good time or should you come later in the month?
Very diasapointed in my cheap mug (i dont see it working for hot drinks)..I just found out only the the renewal people get the nice mugs (tumblers). A bit misleading also only the renewal's get the dollywood cinnamon bread each month. 😕 That is no fault of yours, as I love your channel its just a small black eye on Dollywood. please keep up the good work. 😊
We are a family of 5. Would we be able to purchase 1 diamond pass and then use the 4 being a friend tickets. We typically only go 1 time a year between September and October
Planning for our Annual visit to Sevierville and Dollywood. My teenage granddaughter’s want to come with us so we cannot avoid no school time. I know it will be crazy busy but because of all their other obligations, we are looking at either the week of 6/29/25 to 7/5/25 or 7/6/25 to 7/12/25. In your opinion, which of these weeks might be the least crazy?
@@AdventureIsOutThere Thank you so much Love your videos. We watched them to plan our first visit in Fall 2022. Our goal is to go to Dollywood for each season’s festival. So July will be summer, then we will only need to visit in early Spring to complete the goal

Passes work out well for us. We like stopping in for a couple hours at a time. Looking forward to getting our diamond passes again.
Not feeling rushed to do everything in 1 day is a nice benefit of having a pass!
Great information. Just returned and had a blast with my grandbabies. Does locals get discounts on Dollywood tickets?
Locals don’t get a discount. However they do have Sevier County days were locals can get a heavily discounted ticket & then pay up to become a pass.
Ryan , are the passes pro-rated for April or May purchases ?

These season passes, are they? The prices are per person or per family

I get paid on the 25th to renew would that be ok to get the same price
I believe the renewal pricing goes through October 27th.
If we are going thanksgiving of this year 2024, would these season passes be valid?
