I'm 70 and remember Dolly on the Porter Wagoner Show. Google says that was 1967 to 1974. Today was one of those days I checked airfare to Ecuador, $623 round trip, one of these days. The cost to take a family of 5 to Dollywood would be quite a bit more so, not extravagant at all. Maybe if the right person doesn't win the election tomorrow, I could just buy a one way ticket. Thanks for sharing.
Out of curiosity, do you remember Porter and Dolly doing the commercials for Breeze detergent (my memory says it was Breeze, but it’s been awhile) with the free dish towel in the box?
Thanks for taking me on that trip with you. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. That was a great Video.. Thanks for taking me on with you With the videos. Have a great rest of the day and night too..👍🙏🏻🙂
My wife and I went a few months ago with a wedding group and having 15 or more we got the tickets for $65 but that place is way too expensive and doesn’t have a lot like six flags. Love six flags so my opinion is six flags is a better place and cost less. Love your videos they have helped me on my own vehicles. I have a truck I would love for y’all to work on and make a video doing it.
You guys have some cool videos.. I like watching family’s having fun now that I’m older.. I only live a couple hours from Dollywood but I don’t think I’ve been there in at least 18 or so years… thanks guys I subscribed…
My favorite ride is Lightning Rod. It's themed around old hot rods, and the seat air-time is around 70%. We love Dollywood, and we stay at DreamMore resort when they run a special. $279 per night which includes a pass for no waiting for rides and a trolley takes you straight in with no waiting in line. Fun video!
@ oh ok when you say all get timesaver you mean like up to 2,4,6? guests per room? Or no limit at all. Parking doesnt seem that bad but i guess being able to leave the park and save money on food could help too vs parking and harder to get access to outside food.
So glad ya'll got away to spend some fun family time together. Did you good!!. Thanks for sharing it all with us. We'll never go, so we enjoyed seeing what it is like there.
We live here. I drove a trolley in PF and got free entry. Always loved it. A bit too old for all the coasters, but just right for the Buffet at Aunt Grannie's. Love your videos ❤
My wife and I took our honeymoon in Gatlinburg Tennessee when the park was known as Silver Dollar City. We went again in 2003 after it was purchased by Dolly Parton. We enjoyed ourselves both times. If you want to visit a nice family park with free parking, free entry to the park and halfway reasonable prices, come to Elysburg, Pennsylvania to Knobel's Grove...(and some homemade pumpkin pie)!
Takes me back to the days when we used to go to Silver Dollar City here where I was born and raised in Branson, MO! Such good memories of the funnel cakes and BBQ sandwiches and all the fun growing up so many years ago here. Thanks for sharing Sleeperfolks, WOOOOOO!
Looks like a lot of fun there it was good to hear you laughing your butt off josh lololol we got Kenny wood park in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania I have not been there in years can’t take the fast drops getting older is no fun :)
Thank y'all, this brought back memories of our family's trip there when it was Silver Dollar City. Our kids are in their 40's now, so that would have been in the late 80's.
Gosh... I haven't been to Dollywood since right after it became Dollywood in '86. Seems like I even remember the parking area being gravel but, man how it's grown! I used to love amusement parks and rollercoasters but, since becoming disabled, I'm not able to anymore. I'm an amputee and went with the family to Six Flags Over Georgia in 2013 and decided I was gonna ride the Georgia Cyclone... after squeezing my fat self into the seat... and not being fully seated... that thing beat me to death! Not as much fun as I remembered it being when I was younger 🤣 Needless to say... that was my last coaster! Thanks for sharing & God bless! ~ Scott 💙🙏🏼
It’s been a while since I have been to any amusement park but the prices seem very high. But it’s probably like that everywhere. Anyway love the videos keep up the excellent work.❤
I’ve always wanted to go to Dollywood, we’re going to pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg for our honeymoon and plan on going to Dollywood, but with both of us in mid 50’s the rides and cost, we may go to Dollywood but not go IN Thanks for sharing this awesome video
That looked like a ton of fun, I love seeing the kids smiling---and screaming 😋🤣Never been there, might just have to add it to the bucket list! Thanks for taking us along!
When my children were little and preteen, We use to go to Dollywood every summer. My children are all grown up and have kiddos of their own and they have not taken their kids to Dollywood, they say it's overpriced and the drinks and food is outrageous and I have to agree with them. It's very beautiful there but man not many folks can afford it. The gift shops are far too expensive as well. Imo Dollywood is over rated! Too expensive for most folks!! I'm 70 and just love Dollywood but I haven't been in nearly 15 years now!! They sell dipping dots at the local grocery store in my area for 7.00 for same size serving s
We in Australia have sirley heard of Dollywood, so this trip is great to experience this theme park. Love your content and your wonderful family. Bless you all 🇦🇺🇺🇸
@6 Flags over Texas in Arlington, I was on the drop (bungee style seated) a kid next to me didn't have the bar down all the way he started to fall out, I grabbed him and shoved him back in seat and held him back. We got to bottom his mother was crying and hugged me so hard I couldn't breathe.
We take snacks in a backpack every time we go. We take our Dollywood cups to put water in. We usually dont buy the over priced food. Also we take the trolley to avoid the high parking fee
This actually looks great. Went to Six Flags in Atlanta once. Got there when it opened. Left when it closed. Ride two rides. It was horrible with the lines. We got to try Dollywood.
Out of all the National Parks, I don't know of very many as beautiful as the Smoky Mountains that do not charge an entrance fee. Renting a ridge-top cabin in Pigeon Forge was one of the best get-a-ways I've ever had. Sittin' on a covered porch watching the thunder storms roll through the valley was incredible! Sorry I didn't leave time for Dollywood!
Thank you! We just moved to Tennessee last year, out near Bristol. I've been thinking about getting out to Dollywood next year. I really enjoy your videos, and this is no exception. I knew that it would be expensive, everything is these days. I would much rather go to Dollywood than to go back to Las Vegas, I was there for four months many years ago and didn't like it that much. I'd have to take extra money for the food, that's one of my favorite things. Thank you so much for taking us along. All the best to you and your family.
Had no idea Dollywood has been around that long and was three other names before. Crazy priced is the name of the game for all these kind of places these days. Hope that $17 burger was the best one y'all ever had in your life, and y'all enjoyed it!! Thanks for taking us along for the day trip. Looks like it's a good time, and a good way to spend a day.
Thanks for taking us along. This is a great "change of pace" video. I have been to Pigeon Forge but I never went into the theme park "Dolly Wood". There is a lot to do in that area. God Bless your family.
I LOVED Dollywood...we went a couple of years ago. The mineshaft ride was the most thrilling! The pitch black with nearly vertical climbs and drops was amazing. 😬
I slowed down the 2X speed ride videos to 0.5x to see them at normal speed (in settings)... but it made me laugh when Josh came back in at that speed... it sounded like he had waaay too much to drink LOL
The Silverado and GMC Sierra are known for the temperature sensor going bad and it causes the AC to kick off. Just replace it in. Your truck will be fine. Now I’m talking about the temperature sensor for the coolant
Great video. Glad y'all had a great time. I haven't been to Dollywood since the mid 90's. And I moved to Knoxville area 5 years ago from Western NC, still haven't went. To crowded for me... Just did a merch order, I can't wait for it to get here Woo Hoo 😁😁
May i make a suggestion? Next summer visit Holiday World/Splashin Safari here in Santa Clause Indiana. Two parks for the price of one with world class coasters ! And the food is affordable lol. Camp at Lincoln state park , visit Lincoln boyhood memorial. You wont regret it. Also , free drinks, free sunscreen, and free parking !!
Yay sleeperdude. I never been there. Ive been to memphis back in 2005. Looks like lots of fun. Im obsessed with roller coasters. I had to ride roller coasters in the front seat. Till my degenerative disc disease started In my 30s. Now jerky rides hurt my back. I get to watch you guys have fun. 😊 Kings Island is closer to us up in Mason ohio. I havent been there since 90s.
The part of the video with entire family on water was priceless, everyone looked like they loved it.
Yes for sure
You guys go on more vacations in a year than I have in my life. The kids seemed to enjoy it very much.
These videos of your family outings like this are my favourites!
Glad you enjoy them!
Thanks for taking us all along on this trip Sleeperdude family! Looked like fun was had by all!!

@@dougbowen4685 It's on here! Dolly Porter Breeze.
I'm really glad for y'all, being able to take the family on vacation every couple of weeks.
Ha Ha.
Lol. At $413 admission, $25 for parking and nearly $100 for one meal they must be pretty independently wealthy. 🫣

Welcome.. Keep up the good work.. Until I see you the next video.👍🙂🙏♥️
I hope y'all had a good time. I almost lost my supper just watching lol.
Haven’t been there in about 35 or 40 years ! Thanks for taking us along !😊
What an adorable family! The love shines bright
Lol the family will have so much fun watching this as the years go by. Especially the slow mos of the screams. Lol
I am so impressed there was no bad words on those wild rides!😂
Thanks for taking us along. Glad you all had fun. I really enjoyed seeing you guys enjoy some family fun. Take care and I'll see you later.

Loved Silver Dollar City as a kid
Used to go to silver dollar city in the early 90’s, mostly loved the cave walk through. Came down from northwest Missouri
The big cave there was so cool when I was a kid, don’t have anything like that where I’m from
Yup Marvel Cave was always a nice cool walk underground.
Thanks for the Dollywood tour. I would never wait in those lines, but looks like fun
OMG Squeezee had me rollin on the tube ride😅
keep it real Squeeze enjoy it while you can
🤣

Ralphy doing the commercial thing reminded me of hee haw when their in a cornfield and stand up to do their skit then squat back down lol!
