0:42 "My plan for this is to just paint it up, I might do a little bit of modification to it" 4 years later, still uses it as a size comparison kit, unpainted as a straight build lol
It's really cool how they blended together all those different kits to make this. Granted all seeing this MG did was make me want to get the HGUC lol. Such a cool design.
Had a peek at Amazon and noticed that they've got the Powered GM for 60 dollars (Japanese import obviously). For those that REALLY want one and doesn't mind a long wait and 60$ price tag, I'd get it before the price gouging kicks in. As for me, this looks nice but I'm not to broken about it like the Nataku (especially seeing how there's a resin kit for it as well).
FYI, its going to go up and down as more people get it. But I'd say for everyone who wants this, you have about 1-2 months I'd say before this disappears completely. MG GM"s tend to be the most saught after due to them rarely ever getting re-prints and being perfect for custom builds. They also tend to have the best Dry Transfer decals you can get.
Federation grunts are awesome, really love this GM variant and I hope that Bandai can be aware that there is a demand for EFSF grunts and finally produce a Jegan in MG or RE1/100. I'm tired of getting Zaku variants, not that I hate Zaku's but we need to see more Federation grunt MS. They can flesh out the mold for the Jegan with tons of the variant that the Jegan have: Stark Jegan, Prototype Stark, ECOAS type, Ghost Jegan and the list goes on.
+Hiruma Berserker It all depends on Bandai, but of course a normal release will be better over a pbandai exclusive kit. I just want a Jegan which is long overdue.
Seeing as you've stopped using spraypaint for your paint jobs, and have probably changed the way you do a lot of things in regards to painting a kit, have you thought about redoing your painting tutorial series? I'm curious because you mentioned painting this kit, and I'd certainly would like to see how it would be done with your updated techniques.
Thank god you reviewed this. I was thinking, "Oh, wow! I didn't know there was P-Bandai MG Powered GM!" and decided to look up a review before jumping on it... so glad I did. This thing looks like the bad old days of MGs... more like a scaled-up HG than a full-blooded MG. Arms on pegs? Ball-and-socket legs? Hollow parts for the skirt armor? Woof... no thank you! I'm going to give this one a huge pass. You've saved me at least $50.
I plan on eventually getting the HG version of this kit. I think whenever I get the RG GP01 I'm gonna donate the rifle from the HG Powered GM to that one since the RG GP01 should technically have a machine gun but for some reason it just includes the beam rifle.
Mr Chow exactly. so if you want a complete Master Grade GP01 you have to buy the MG GM Kai to get the machine gun. if you want a complete RG GP01 you have to buy either the HGUC GM Sniper 2 or the HGUC Power GM to get the machine gun.
+Jango The Blue Fox yeah I think the machine gun looks a lot better than the beam rifle.i scratched built one from the gundam Alex machine gun and other parts from my gundam graveyard lol
+Jango The Blue Fox that's like the whole point of getting the gm Kai is to pose it with the interchangeable machine gun.not to just give it away to another kit.i would feel that the gm Kai is incomplete if I gave its gun to sum1 else.idk its probably just me but I hate feeling when a kit is incomplete or missing peaces.
I know it's almost been a year since you made this video, but I was wondering if you were able to take any pictures of the finished customized kit? I love to see seasoned youtubers making videos about customizing gundam so I can draw from as insperation
Premium-Bandai is Bandai's exclusive web shop. The kits sold on there are usually varients of existing kits and are a limited production run, making them rare and desirable.

Really?
I wouldn't change it. Just a basic panel lining, paint the visor, apply some decals and maybe paint the orange parts to a darker orange.
It's really cool how they blended together all those different kits to make this. Granted all seeing this MG did was make me want to get the HGUC lol. Such a cool design.
I never remembered this GM having a core block system...learn something new everyday
The powered GM is an upgraded GM Kai (Type C). I like the build. This is how it looked in the anime!!
Now that you mention it....it really looks like a Spartan Armor of Halo....just been put in the universe of Gundam O_O
Kirt Greyver Miralo the only thing is this really doesn't.....
“Giving the Zeons back their colony.”

Bandai should just do conversion kits instead of these p Bandai things. Sell a two runner kit with a multicolored runner and have it like $20
That's kind of a cool idea, actually.
MaxSonic it sure would make them easier to get
this guy gets it
God yes! I had the same thought when building Conroy's ECOAS Jegan.
you are a pure genius
Great kit! The RG’s are old school and fun to build
For some reason i think i love with the powered gm and the powered gm cardican
it late night and i am going sleep after this review.♡
nothing's better than watching Zach's review at 4am
lol 4:37 a.m. here
Too bad this came before the GM Sniper II. If I were Bandai, I would make a shit tone of GM's based on that mold.
I think this would sell well as a regular release. They are grunty, but cool looking. Would be nice to see better articulation though.
makes me wish we'd get a mastergrade GM cardigan. and an mg build burning. and an mg lightning.
I recently built this kit I like the look but I wish the did use the new hip joints at least over all very pleased
Love this suit and the kits for it. It is my base for my custom Gundam after all. Glad to see a MG version come out for this suit though. Good review.
I plan to get this kit, I hope that the GM 3, will be a master grade kit .
At 18:46, I like the extra follow-up footage at the end. Pretty cool. =P
lol, yeah meant to put that after the outro, but definitely forgot to edit it properly.
You had me convinced I didn't want this kit.... And then I saw it posed on the turntable 14:00 in
To get back the shine of the visor you can use the bath technique with Future or Alcald II Aqua Gloss.
It's not exactly the shine, it's the plastic itself unfortunately.

Do you want all those variants be P-netrated?
+Hiruma Berserker It all depends on Bandai, but of course a normal release will be better over a pbandai exclusive kit. I just want a Jegan which is long overdue.

Yeah it's the perfect opportunity for a revived paint tutorial
Hmmmm I'm still not really experienced enough with airbrushing to really responsibly give a tutorial on it. But a full build series may not be bad.
+ZakuAurelius It's good to be humble! You have a lot of subscribers so it's responsible to only do something you know you can do well
I wish to see a MG powered cardigan one day :/
Looking forward to the GA
This is a dream kit to be used as a blank canvas. I plan on doing a GM Spartan custom out of this.

Yeah the master grade gp01 only has a beam rifle too. The perfect grade has the machine gun tho.

seems like alot of trouble when you could just buy a GM Kai to get the gun.
+Jango The Blue Fox that's like the whole point of getting the gm Kai is to pose it with the interchangeable machine gun.not to just give it away to another kit.i would feel that the gm Kai is incomplete if I gave its gun to sum1 else.idk its probably just me but I hate feeling when a kit is incomplete or missing peaces.
remember when premium bandai wasnt every other kit and kits like this were casual releases
Looks like the GM has been hitting the gym
I know it's almost been a year since you made this video, but I was wondering if you were able to take any pictures of the finished customized kit? I love to see seasoned youtubers making videos about customizing gundam so I can draw from as insperation
Haven't painted it yet! :(
Haha! did you send it back to your friend or is it still sitting there?
@@ZakuAurelius WHERE IS JIM, ZACK
ITS BEEN TWO YEARS
i wonder how it look with master chief paint scheme :D
Thank you Alex
Its a good kit.. just came out late.. as p.bandai in now a thing for all msv.
Pretty cool kit, but why did they use older construction styles?
Not old construction styles, just old kits!
This looks dope. Is there a kit similar to this that's non p-bandai?
Bruce Wayne Well there's the high grade or the mg GM type C.
This migh be a dumb question, but are these Premium Bandai kits only available in some special stores?
it's a pretty bad example of what the master grade line can offer, but it's not a terrible kit. I'd give it a 5 out of ten.
Aurora film on the visors of GM look specially nice!
Yeah I was thinking about that!
Even if that things a grunt suit, I like the colors and the design
The feet 200% remind me of MG RX-78-2 ver 1.5 feet
RIP LT Allen
I pour a drink out for him every year
i like the look of the GM. what is p bandai mean? Great video
Premium-Bandai is Bandai's exclusive web shop. The kits sold on there are usually varients of existing kits and are a limited production run, making them rare and desirable.
matt200717 thanks a lot
matt200717 i thought those were called web exclusives before?
+kairus1 maybe. they are web exclusives, but the store is called premium bandai, so that's what people call the kits
matt200717 thanks a lot for the info
so wats the mg mk2 plate even used for besides the bazooka
so how do you recommend making the visor a brighter green?
go with some stealth colors y know dark stuff blue and what not
Are you going to get the ibo astaroth origin?
yes~ that will be coming soon.
Master Chief Gundam
You should paint it into Doom guy!
fuck yeah
rip and tear baby
I want this but i want the sniper 2 and the nemo and a couple other gms but i ca only get one my brain hurts
Cool.
You could have just said that the Powered GM's base model is the Gundam Ver. Ka
More so the GM Kai.
Considering the GM Kai kits released before the Gundam ver. Ka it's definitely just the Kai with the extra bits.
Interesting gunpla
no pegs in hands?
negatory!
Looks like the Gm from the start of 0083
(Spoiler)
...it is.
+ZakuAurelius awesome! I'd seen the release pic but didn't realise it was supposed to be that one
Well this seems just like bigger hg kit
you could paint it up to look like mastercheif
Big HG :)
0h the GMs...
Too bad the Powered GM is only a P-Bandai exclusive. I can't justify paying $80+ for any GM. Might have been better as a RE 1/100.
Make it look like the astray
another fireworks kit
im the 100th liker..... do i win a medal or a cookie...
I dont like how this is pbandai
