- Review of the HGUC Powered GM from 0083 Stardust Memory. Basically a powered up unit of the GM Type C for test purposing. Has basically all the equipments of what a GM needs. For a kit that came out on 2006 it holds up very well with its articulation and color separation. Although it only gives a open hand for the left arm. Really recommended GM kit.

Planning to pick this kit up
the gm cardigan is also pretty good! i think you will also enjoy it
The Powered GM is one of my favorite bulky GMs.
what a coincidence! recently bought and built one as well and I really loved building it.Also surprised at how good it still is for its age. Loved that thigh armor design.
I separated the front skirt armors and they work 100% fine individually. just had to sand the cut of the separation so they wouldnt clash as i moved them.
also the action base connection cover never fell off mine.
still has to be one of my favorite kits
This GM is so good! Just wish it lasted more than 5 mins in the anime....
need a revive of this
I think this was the basis for revive kits
I love the Powered GM and the Powered GM Cardigan is my favorite build Fighters try kit. If you haven't built one of those I highly recommend it. I have it displayed next to a Thunderbolt Gundam ground type S and with them both having multiple shield's they look fantastic together. The origin GM intercept custom is another really cool kit I recently built. I recommend that one for people that are looking for a GM that is a little bit different and that they can build very quickly.
Good stuff. Hope they do a revised of the 0083 kits one day. Along with the Hazels.
Also, while not officially a tie in, I think the Powered GM and the GM Striker look great together - both having similar style of armor plates.
They’re for different purposes. The plates on the Powered GM house sensors and other data gathering packages. The plates on the GM Striker are reactive armor similar to what you’d find on modern tanks.
Personally I think the reversed ankle joint(Socket up top, ball joint on bottom) makes the ankles look really weird when posing.
And, also personally lol I much prefer the older style of peg shoulders over the ball joint shoulders as they end up being much more sturdy.
But of course, that's just my opinion.
Great review, and I do agree it is a great kit, although that single right hand is annoying - but easily fixed by using a hand off another GM kit.
I have the p-bandai MG ver,i love it
It's based on GM type C (ground type) i get extra parts from Gundam mk2 2.0 and GM 2.0
You forget about beam saber are one mold or spares part
thats the same basic bazooka that came in divider x as well, but that one doesn't have any movable parts
the pbandai mg is better...too bad its not a normal release..i would be many version of it
HGUC Powered GM revive please.
TBH, I don’t really think it needs it much. The arm articulation is pretty much on par with modern HGs, ball joints notwithstanding. The legs are only hindered by the ball joints on the hips, and even that’s not much of an issue since most poses you’ll want don’t need full thigh rotation. The front skirts can be separated like with modern HGs. The lack of an ab crunch isn’t a big deal since this thing is a big thicc boi and is pretty paralyzed down there anyway. Frankly, the only thing a revive would really do is give it a standard 3mm peg backpack for kitbashing.
There are lots of suits that really need a 2.0. This isn’t really one of them.
I used to poo-poo on GMs but i've gained an appretiation for them after playing Crossfire/Target In Sight.
Thicc boi!
