Hi Eileen, .....as a middle-aged guy who has sold his fair share of houses, let me give you some useful advice that will help your channel - whenever you are showing or filming a house, always show the rooms in a sequence that makes the utility and composition easy to understand. How do you do this? Quite easy. You should always follow a sequence by showing the entrance, then the living room space, dining space, then the kitchen, then the rooms followed by their bathrooms. It makes the architecture easy to follow and ingest. Remember - always start the rooms from the living room unless it is impossible.

"it's People" are angry without possibilities to buy a house because there is a lot of demand from foreigners. So there has to be a periority at the moment. This girl is making videos to contribute to the degradation of her people. Portugal has middle-class people who at this time have no way to pay their own rent because of this. it's time to think a little bit.

You are very wrong in your conclusions because you're attributing an economic crisis that is being experienced the world over to one woman, if she yielded this power,, trust me,, she would not be on UA-cam.
This woman is, as millions of others, healthfully engaging in a venue that she enjoys. How you've made the leap from this to her contributing to the degradation of her people without a conversation with her is beyond comprehension. I can respect and understand a healthy concern for the housing problems that Portugal and many other countries are facing and with great compassion for my country and people I pray to God for a solution, but please place the blame where it is due and not on an innocent woman. The ecconomic crisis that this world is currently being plagued with is a direct result of corporate greed. It would have been fair if you would have at least taken the time to communicate with her before lashing out at her with such a damn8ng conclusion.

In the excitement of acquiring a new home in Portugal, if buying as a second home there is the upkeep from afar, taxes, several travel costs ir air fares, hire cars per year etc Living in Portugal permantenyly means uprooting from everything you are familiar with and away from family and friends, the investment may not increase as much a where you currently are. The build quality is different from standards you are used to. The language, the pace of life and culture is certainly different. The pluses are the weather, friendliness of the Portuguese people. Just a few thoughts.

Excelent work... driving prices up in the countryside so locals cannot aford it..
But locals sell their properties for a higher price if there is a demand. The younger generation prefer living in places like Porto and Lisbon. Not many wish to remain in a village toiling the land with only elderly folk as company.

The backyard really is beautiful and that very old oven, WOW, that is a crowd pleaser in itself. OH MY THE TILES, THE MUESUM OF TILES, Id never leave home and id clean and polish all day, week, month and year long and no one would be allowed to touch them.

If only I had waited a little longer! 😢 A property of this size, price and location is not found every day. Just imagine, houses in excellent condition, just need a little renovation. And what shocked me the most was the price! I was going to say that it didn't exist or there were no more reasonable prices, but this one went beyond reason. With this price buy two, I was shocked. It's the same thing as saying, buy one, get two, or buy two for the price of one, which is extraordinary. My only regret is that it arrived too late for me, I've been looking for a long time for a house in these conditions and at a reasonable price. Now that I found it, I invested my money in another project. 😭😭I wish the future buyer the best of luck.
If i have this 2 houses farm. I'll do it a shelter for bad times will coming. All the rooms i'll do bedrooms, in both houses. iIll make kitchen on back of second house, 1 garage i'll make storage to put food and others things. Backyard I'll do vegetables, some extra tree (to make fire for cooking and take showers if not gas in that time). God bless you amiga to show us this property.

No. These are bottom prices for an out of the way depopulated area. The market here is crazy with both immigrants and digital nomads moving in.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of property you get for this price, especially from Terra Dos Rios, an estate agent that I feel tends to overvalue its properties and offer them at too high a price.

The majority of thes properties are abandoned. This one has sort of this look. But for many Europeans and Americans this is a bargain. While being well over or ridiculously priced by the locals.
What people who buy at these prices and the realtors the push these prices are truly short sighted.
This is why housing and apartments are being priced out of the markets for locals.
Most likely this property could be bought for $50k maybe $75k

Yes why is that stone cottage attached to home and not included in sale? Weird.
It is a semi-detached home, just like a street where homes woold be build next to eachother. It had two different owners, and probably one did the renovation and the owner didnt.

Yes thanks for recognizing yhat estate agents have a role to ply in helping property owners triple and quadruple their prices to try to milk immigrants trying to make Portugal their new homes.
In big cities and high tourism regions prices tend to rise faster.
It's a littoral shame to see these country properties, where people have literally abandoned them turn around and then gouge foreigners who want to rebuild and save these properties. 😮😢
