I enjoy watching the Mama interact with her baby. I have watched other videos with different species & to me the Gorilla is more loving & caring with their babies. I have seen other species literally take the food out of their baby’s mouth so they could eat it. I have seen them bite & tear the mouth of the baby trying to take its food.
Do tell which species does that to their young? I'd love to know. Most species realize the vital need to ensure their offspring survive to adulthood. Including gorillas, who share 98% of their DNA with US.

It's sad to see these beautiful animals in captivity! But sometimes it's the only way to save them from trophy hunters! Mom and baby are beautiful! But mom looks sad!

So sweet and what a gorgeous baby and a truly loving and attentive Mom! At 14:00 cracked me up the baby was in a Milk Coma and completely and utterly in heaven....totally reminded me of my kids when I nursed them. My son would eat until he was bursting with milk and eventually like this baby finally finished once in total milk coma but my daughter took her time and preferred to have me as her personal human binky!! 😂
N'Aika looks so ..troubled. So serious, with a look of anxiety, mixed with some anger? and fear. I wonder if she is suffering with Postpartum issues? Or perhaps she is simply suffering from winters cabin fever and in need of sunshine and warm days? And N'Irale watches her mama so intently!
Interestingly, unlike human babies, ape babies are able to hold their heads up on their own shortly after birth. Human babies are almost born premature when you compare them to the rest of the animal world, which is an interesting development that apparently became necessary due to the increasing sizes of our heads.
It's interesting how the babies can sleep while hanging on. Their hands must be reflexive to maintain a grip while sleeping. .....I've seen the babies laying down while riding their mothers' backs but do they ever sit up while riding? Do the babies sometimes fall off while riding?
@@adrunkgorillawithalobotomy353 Yeah... honestly pretty weird to refer to something that looks almost identical to a human hand as a "paw." Their feet look different from ours with the opposable thumbs, but they still look more like a handlike foot than a "paw."

There's no need for sound to my videos from Burgers, since you can't hear the gorillas. Both outside and inside there's glass, so you'd only hear people talk on the videos. There's no use for that (99.9% is Dutch and BS).
That's because they all eat it! The zoo keepers give them more than enough food. A couple times a day. They all have healthy big bellies filled with it.

I've actually seen some of the other monkeys like macaques remove the food from theur babies mouths and eat themselves.

I've seen older baby's sit up while on mom's back. I've never seen one falling off.
