I loved this. I’m 75 and just got into flow and pour painting after just a couple of years’ regular painting. You make it so easy to follow - like chatting with a good buddy!!
Now you have 15,501 stubbies. I'm a fellow artist and have been a bit frustrated with the lack of cellular action in my work. Thanks for the reminder about going back to the beginning and try the simple approach again. I'm 63, from Orange County, CA but relocating soon to Northern California for the slow life in the redwoods.
Garrick, that was great. They turned out beautifully. I subscribed and will definitely be looking forward to your videos. You fun and entertaining 🥰 Thank you!
WOW! Great video, Garrick. I have to watch the bloom experiment video. The glue, acrylic ink and paint CA surprised me, definitely wasn’t expecting that result, from it. ♥️💥🙏👏👏
Thank you for these great comparison pours. I can now see that you can choose your cell shapes for different paintings. Who would ever have thought how well the common every day products could create such beautiful outcomes. Thank you again and i will continue to follow you.😊

Vielen lieben Dank🙏 für deine SUPER Demonstration, Garrick. Es war für mich sehr hilfreich 👍! Besonders das Rezept glue, paint+water 😍. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪, Tanja 😊
Thank you so much for doing these experiments! I have been searching for something to use for cells other than Australian Floetrol! Congratulations on the now 15.5k subscribers!
If I didn't have Aussie floetrol, I would go with the one with the glue because I love cells more than lacing. Plus I do like the one beside the Aussie floetrol Thank you for dong these experiments for us!! ❤
Hi Garrick, Fellow artist here. Love your experimentation and all your videos. I've been interested in getting some negative space between cells and this experiment with American floetrol is a great step in that direction. So thank you friend! 😊
Congratulations on 15K !! 🎉🎉🎉 Thanks for the experiments Garrick. Actually all of them looked great so I would use any of the recipes except Aussie floetrol because of the expense. ❤
Tha wa amazing. I live in Australia so have only used Australian Floetrol. However i found the the paint water and acrylic ink very interesting. Love watching your experiments.
I just stumbled across your videos and am loving your style and all these great experiments! So informative and helpful. Thank you for sharing your talent! 🤩
@@GarrickBrownArtStudio 👋 have a question for you I'm having trouble with swipes I use Amsterdam paint 1 part paint 1 part glue and 1 part flood no house paint why am I not getting any reactions thanks for any help🙂
I thought American Floetrol was to slow of a reaction but also thought Australian Floetrol was to quick of a reaction so I combined the both and BABAMMMM!
I truly enjoy watching you and your energy is just so amazing.thank you so much for this video cuz I've been struggling with the swipe.this helped so much. Also I think you live in North Carolina and if that's so I am also a fellow North Carolinian.
You just popped up for me to watch... love it!! And, I love your video edits... I wish I knew how to do edits!! What do you mean by acrylic ink? That you used in the first cell activator .
Awww so thrilled you enjoy it lol editing is a pain haha. Acrylic ink can be bought. It typically comes in a glass bottle and very fluid similar to alcohol ink.
Great experiment! So much great info and love the pallet!!! I was curious about the U.S. floetrol w paint - I wondered why that recipe had 9 parts floetrol which means it was only 10% paint. Was that a typo? Thanks for sharing!
Penetrol is super toxic. I'm trying to stay away from similar products like wood conditioner but I suspect a combination of it would work with paint and water or glue.
This is an excellent video on swiping. I'm going to try the glue and black ink first. That is crazy gorgeous. By the way, I am amazed and so proud to see how many young hearted, bright minded, still got it elderly women are clearly engaged in arts and pouring and who absolutely love you for your talents and for your great, easy going, fun personality. Hey. I'm 77. I can say what I want and I did except to add... you are the best. Thank you for sharing your beautuful art and for all of your help. It is deeply appreciated. Peace out and pour on! 🎖🎨❤️🎨🎖
Gorgeous sunset over the water with the second one! I recently got some of the Tri-art liquid paints and decided to try them with the glue as a CA and didn’t get much reaction, especially with the white. Have you tried those paints in an experiment? Going to try with the Floetrol and acrylic ink as well.
No. I don't use fluid paints often when instructing because it confuses many of the newbies. You probably need to adjust your ratiosand thicken up your paint when using those paints.
Oh right. When you're doing different things like swiping and tilting do you speed up the camera? Or the video rather? If you do I wish you wouldn't sometime :-)
Hey Garrick, does the first swipe include the acrylic ink? The recipe on screen said it did but the description said it didn’t…tiny mix up but that was my favorite one so I’m wondering which recipe it was? Thanks so much doll. 💙❤️🧡

I love your work. Your videos. You seem like a real cool guy. But I also think that if you are giving guitar lessons it would go like this. "Okay you all brought your guitars today guys. it's going to need strings. I'm going to show you a few ways I do the strings. Next the tuning. I'm going to show you how to tune the guitar." And then you play a really lovely Weisse etude. Then " Ok! Go home and have fun with your guitar, experiment and relax . My next guitar video is going to come out on Tuesday I'll see you then. " Lol Um. You get crazy cells no matter what you use. I get about 90% less. You don't use silicon or anything like that. What am i missing? Technique. Whatever the case... A lot. Peace
Omg I am just seeing this and I tickled, one I am also a musician but too this kind of does sound like me 😂😂😂 Anywho what technique are you trying to master. I'm sure I can help you get more cells friend. ❤
@@GarrickBrownArtStudio well i recently watched your video on various kinds of pillows. From thicker ones to none at all. That was a bit eye opening and I'll try the one with none at all later.
