The Second Chapter of The Alesmead Project

Welcome to this short promo for the second phase of The Alesmead Project:
You may notice during the short the ESU EcoS has an track short, I was working on the PC while the Class 31 was ticking over when the control station buzzed and the smell of doom filled the corner of the room. The screen was that hot I burnt the tip of a finger when I touched it……. The controller was unplugged from the main to cool down, when plugged in the system powered up but the track output gave a short, so thats it dead system.
Two months out of warranty and the cost of repair isn’t worth the hassle doing export paperwork to send it to ESU in Germany, so I have decided after taking feedback from various people to get the Roco Z21XL system when it comes back into stock from the company that gave me the best consultation and options of what would be best for “My” situation.
I called six retailers with my enquiries with five of them just wanting to sell me what they had on the self like, Hornby Elite, Bachmann Dynamis, Gaugemaster prodigy even Hornby HM7000 (WTF), not one of those staff paid attention to my enquiry especially when I made it clear it needed an 6amp plus system for O gauge.
The owner of one of the companies I advertise mentioned I should give DCC Train Automation a call and have a chat, so taking his advice I made a call and I was asked plenty of questions and I was offered Four systems that would be suitable for “My” situation and I decided on the Z21XL and I have to say just playing about with the app on both iPhone and iPad along with watching the Roco UA-cam channel I have made the right choice and I am currently saving money toward getting this system once back into stock at DCC Train Automation.
