- The MEGA MOWER X is going where no brush cutter has GONE BEFORE! I am out on a JUNK lot that is full of trash, junk, metal and even BOATS! A tire DESTROYED my GoPro too! But the Mega Mower X just kept on going no matter what! I LOVE THIS BRUSH CUTTER!

I love these brush hogs/ mulching land clearing videos. It's just so nice to see the transformation. From unusable to clean land.
Appreciate your discussion at the beginning of why you are using this attachment! And now I know why you want to get one!👍👍
Liked how you switched the views and speed on the video. It kept it most interesting. 👍
Awesome clip. Hope Santa brings you a RT-120 for Christmas.
Your doing the rite thing man. I don't care what anyone says. Great job........
A real treasure hunt, or junk hunt. You are SUPER!!
This has got to be the most satisfying brush cutting videos on UA-cam!! That cutter is a absolute BEAST!!
Glad you think so and I am glad you enjoyed watching!
That tire was the funniest thing I’ve seen all month. Thanks
The master of mowing. Meastro of mulching. You don't have to defend yourself You're a good honest contractor.
Grapples work beautifully on messes like that! Combine the piles in a remote corner.
Glad to see you are doing well. Nice vids
Growing up, we had 6 acres, and a lot of it was woods all around with large open areas a very tall brush, and I used a brush hog for my dad, because I love doing it, I always love mowing through the tall grass and seeing my trail and see it get bigger and bigger and bigger. It’s a lot of fun. I miss those days.
What a total mess that place is, I was tense watching you push through it blind. Anyone that would fault you for calling and end to this job is nuts. Stay safe out there Davin.
He's kind of an idiot
Oh goodness 🫣. At 11:26 you almost ran over the rabbit. I’m glad it moved.
I love that machine,it makes 💩 disappear. Really strong 💪
Ouch! What a rubbish dump - some people do not care or have respect for other's properties. Needs a full clearing with a dozer or excavator. Did your best.
Love that Cover on the Brush Cutter. It looks like Bumble Bee now. "Transformer"
The tire came straight for us!! Had to duck quickly.
Gavin, you’re a braver man than me! Cutting this lot blind is really dangerous in a way, especially with all this debris out there brother! I just hope you don’t damage any of your equipment or nothing goes flying! Be careful brother and good luck my friend! Man, that brush cutter sure kicks butt in that stuff! 👏🏻👏🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
That cutter just eats it up, but the amount of trash in that lot is crazy.
Davin, after having a really bad day today your intro (with the tire) made me laugh so hard my sides hurt. Thank you, I needed that. I hope you have 1-800 Buy-Blades on speed dial, you're gonna need it!
Don't blame you one bit for not wanting to tear up your equipment 😊
I know one thing those brush cutters don’t like steel silt fence post!
That thing could blaze a trail in a snap! So mesmerizing to watch!
D3 with a brush rake......you did a good job with what you had to work with.
What a huge mess. That machine really does a great job. Thank you for mowing all that down.
Wow ! That Machine is Awesome!!! Thanks for taking us for the ride….
Good shot!!! Three points!!!!
Go for it, go and get one !!! That was not a good site could be dangerous I should think well done what you manage to get done anyway. X
Mega Mower X, take your permanent place with the other attachments.😊
MTL XC8T, turn in your playbook.😢
Trash dumpers are frustrating to say the least. Kind of unbelievable the things they put in there. They need to ask themselves if they would like someone dumping stuff on their property.
I totally agree with that
To bad you couldn't do a controlled burn. That leaves the cleanest surface. Tells you where everything is and turns green in very little time.
That’s a beast! To kick out tires and junkyard landfill crp like it did without even slowing down is 😳! You tried and I agree with you on the decision to cease. That’s just ridiculous to try and clear that horrible mess safely.
You'd have done a awesome job of what you had. I'm with you. I would not do anymore because there is too much large trash in there and all. It would do is destroy the machine.😮
Thanks for the video Idigit4 munchie getting it done great job 👍❤️❤️ it. Take care of yourself and be Blessed ❤️.
Hey Davon. You should just ignore the idiot opinions people have about you. We know who you are and that you always do the best you can given the circumstances.
It sucks ya lost out on a couple days work but it isant worth tearing up ur equipment for sure so it pays in the long run if ya look at it that way and for sure ya need that cutting machine it don’t look like much stay standing in its way lol so ya I would even wait on pulling the plug on getting it just do it it will pay for itself in just a few jobs time wise as well as work or jobs it can be used for a lot of different stuff ya do I enjoy watching ur channel and keep up the good work glad to see ur getting back to ur self I lost my wife of 27 years back in 08 and it takes time but ya never forget so keep going boss ur doing great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Think it's time for that D3 or Volvo 150 excavator, or Cat 208, I know there large machine but look at the money leaving on the table and you are still young enough.. nothing to lose ..
Funny that people are complaining that you did not pick up trash before mowing. How on earth would you be able to see anything if you did not mow first … sheesh.
this is the most satisfying thing i have ever watched!!!1 This thing is a goddamn beast !!!
Glad you enjoyed watching!
Cutter cut good it does not bog the asv down like the mulcher
That there needs a Cat D7 to push it into a pile, and a Cat 325 to load it into a Cat 730. Be done in a day.
That Asv could do all three of those jobs
At least you started to open it up to get work done Nice job
Overgrown lot becomes a convenient and discrete dumping place.
That brush cutter is smooth ! Think you missed a good “brush cutter vs. jet ski” moment. Lol 👍🏼 good job
Your regular viewers know your integrity and work ethic. Don’t sweat the haters
I do have a question, how many times did you have to stop to fill up with gasoline and/or add oil on this job, if I may ask?
The brush cutter you used works really good and for knocking down the tall stuff does really well.
See the rabbit at 11:26 running away from Mr. Mega Mower...smart move Mr. Rabbit.
Wow! Great job getting through the property with all the hidden junk in the way and communicating with the owner on a better resolution for clearing the remainder of the property. Smart decisions for your safety and the safety of the equipment. Keep making smart decisions.
We had all are rotary brush cutters outlawed to dangerous to cars and to the public. We went only to flail brush cutters much safer it throws the debris down towards down in front of you.
You really should get one. It's a beast!
The direct hit with the tire was priceless 😂
I think you need a "spotter" to walk inf ront and spot piles of debris that is not for mulching. Plant some flags to guide you where to stop. The mulcing is great!
Wow...that mower is a BEAST!!! The speed at which it chews through that brush is amazing!! That looks like a money maker! :)
Anyone else see the rabbit at 11:23 run from the mower
I liked your technique of using the cutter housing to push some of the large pieces of junk out of the way without stopping 👍
I totally see that the editing would be a everyday challenge of your job site work videos, holy toledo..
Am 72 and watching and realizing all the editing blows my old farts' mind.
Keep up the amazing work.
That brush cutter is amazing and so much fun to watch!
Could you use a bucket on the skid steer and doze it all into a pile and burn it all? The steel would remain, and everything else would be gone.
Thanks for explaining the difference between a Mulcher and a brush cutter. Is there a difference in cost for insurance with this specific machine or is the policy a blanket coverage policy???
Knowing a bunch of debris was just dump their willy-nilly by trespassers and people littering would cause me some concern.
I'd be inclined to think one might be better off making one or two passes and creating Lanes 2 walkthrough to look for and identify debris hazardous to your machine and then stake it with some cautionary Flags to work around them so you can pick them up for removal later on.
It seems it would be safer for you and Worthy to mitigate unnecessary abuse on such a beautiful machine!
Thanks in advance
19 seconds in and it's already the greatest safety video ever made!!!
YUP! And this is why I tell people don't point brush cutters towards roads!
Need to put up cameras to catch people dumping on your property.
Love the mowing, I find the videos exciting and calming at the same time!
That mower does a great job never saw one go as good most of them have to stop and weight until blades get back to speed
I am so addicted to this type of clean up! What is wrong with me?
So much fun watching you plow through all that brush. Good editing too.
If the city/county landfills paid scrap guys $1.00 a tire to pick them up I think in a few weeks you would not be able to find a junk/scrap tire anywhere. Just saying.
They tried that in Memphis. They ran through all the alotted money in days.
Kind of gladys returning it not keeping it 7:16
Looks like you got quite a few umbrella stands in there I think
That's what they do here in Memphis Tennessee once a year city pays 1 dollar per tire
I have a friend who has made a living doing this.. One when he was sharpening his blade and he decided to sharpen the blade all the way down to the shaft.. He said he instantly brought up production by 40%..
That brush cutter is super.
My mum told me a story last year about one of her friends had died one day when his dad had the slasher running behind his tractor. Her friend got to close where his dad was slashing and a piece of tree or gorse was thrown from the blades and got him through the eye. Safety first stay away from slashers if nearby
another great video. yep, perfect machine setup for that job and I wold have abandoned it as well. you did what you could without taring up your equipment and I am glad the customer understood. that is one tough cutter.
That brush cutter is impressive..
Dude that is one serious lawnmower! It's like getting Godzilla to mow your lawn!
I want to build me a large John Deere zero turn mower with a hydraulic power brush cutter deck on it.. the same brush cutter you have on your skid steer. The only negative I see is the zero turn mower would spin it's tires . Because it don't have the power to push through it like it does with your skid steer.
Interested to know what do you charge for a job like in this video? Do you guess how long and go by an hourly rate or per acre?
I am considering doing this on the side but have no concept of what is too little or too much to charge. Thanks in advance.
Wow, what a place. What a long way back. It's an awesome video, thanks. Now, to keep watching it❤❤. Good for you on not wanting to tear your machine😅😅.
Machine and cutter are perfect for one another.
This was a great one for the front view, thanks. ❤
Trash is the worst! Please update us on the XC8T. I love mine, would like to hear your honest opinion on it vs the one you are using currently.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going....Keep on the good and tough works !!!
You did a great job under the circumstances.
Looking forward to your next job.
looks like real fun work! it would have been more fun if their was no junk all over. also glad you didn't run into a full propane tank.
Davin you don't have to clarify anything thing to us, we understand that all the information on the site wasn't divulged to you
What a Beast, and so is the Mower!! 😅🤣😂. Great job. I have never seen a Brush Cutter that came close to what it can do. Take care and thanks for the videos. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
That’s gonna leave a mark!
Love your video was very therapeutic for me watching you mow thru all of that.
I love how jumpy that wabbit was at 11:25 mark :D
I believe that attachment would clear out the amazon forests.
OMG dont give this fool any ideas
This machine is amazing
Really impressive!
Throwing tires at us now 😂
No need to be a minimalist. Run it at full flow. They are designed for it and it will improve your performance. You won't save fuel or gain any other efficiency running it at lower flow. Running the mini ex at lower rpm saves a little fuel but its harder on your hydraulic components because it minimizes cooling capacity. It will also suit up your emissions equipment quicker. They are designed to be be ran wide a** open unless you are using a bucket or grapple etc.
I run the engine at full throttle, I just turn down the hydraulic flow depending on what I am cutting.
I saw that tire headed my way, and I tried to run, but twisted my ankle and fell and bruised my hip. lol Jeeeess this channel is a dangerous one to watch.
Hi, Davin: Loved the video, as always. I think that cutter makes a great tire launcher, although I'm sorry it took out your tripod. Bummer!
Devin you always do a clean job. Good job!
Best tire shot in the world.
That place is an accident waiting to happen! Good on you for what you could do!
I love my John Deere RS72 (Bradco Ground Shark Extreme) Rotary mower. Its the best design for hitting anything and not killing it. Great work. Aloha.
That machine is a beast. I’m a country girl. I have no need for one, but I want one. Lol
I'm sure there's plenty of city girls that want one too. Don't know what being in the country has anything to do with anything.
@@drobichaud1000 country girls generally have property to use equipment on.
I knew it was coming and I still ducked when you hit that tire!!! Glad that you and your equipment were hurt working in this dump.
What a mower. Good job on that acreage.😊
