The final stages of our southern Flinders Ranges adventure ! This week Simon and his Iveco daily 4x4 are taking you to all new heights literally as we attempt to scale the infamous 10/10 Bill Goat Ridge track up where eagles dare on top of the Bendelby Ranges!
But there's still plenty of adventure and misfortune to be had before we get there. We kick off the episode towards the end of a diff crunching, panel scraping rock crawling run up the dry creek bed where all but one of us make it out unscathed before nightfall! With the exit being too easy, Simon as usual finds his own way, inspiring the others to follow into the darkness and somehow, he gets everyone home in one piece! The next morning starts with a big breakfast as both nerves and courage build for the onslaught of Billy Goat Ridge, and for damn good reasons!
As the pinnacle of the property, and our trip, we couldn't have asked for better scenery, a better challenge and better people to do it all with! There's not shortage of action on our way to the top but we've kept one of the best twists for the very end as Mike from Trek takes a friendly prank to a whole new level!
