I know you cherish this moment as a son and mother relationship and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it...my mother died in my arms two years ago..always take the time to tell your mother you love her...no matter who's standing in the way.

Can't imagine how emotional this was for the both of you, sharing your passions for flight, her flying you when you were younger in hot air balloons and years later now you flying her in a paramotor....priceless. Get her a trike and a motor and set her up to fly along side you...that would be great I bet. Wonderful video.

As a long-time motorcyclist, I'm glad that your deer encounter was not too serious! After a few close calls over the years, I avoid riding my BMW R1200GSA at night on country roads. Love your PPG videos!
Thanks man! Crazy thing is, it happened in the middle of the day. Deer must have been suicidal.
Tucker Gott - yes, those "forest rats" can appear in the daytime too, but it's generally much easier to spot them in time to avoid a collision. Perhaps deer hunting season should be extended to reduce their populations in areas where they are most likely to present a serious danger to motorcyclists and other road users.
Donald Moe The deer populations in parts of North Jersey are so bad that some townships/municipalities have to hire year-round hunters to keep the numbers in check.

Went skydiving once and honestly my favorite part was going up in the back of a tiny plane and seeing nj from the skys. Jump had a slight malfunction and was so loud i couldn't hear my guitar for acouple days. The views tho man.. the views.
Its easy to hate nj while living here but the open lands and geography are amazing!

Tucker, I watch all your video's I really enjoy them. I am a long time motorcycle rider, about 50 yrs. I just have one question, why do you not see the need for eye protection? You take every safety precaution when flying but somehow you missed this most important item. Put some glasses on and keep your eyesight for life. I have been hit in the face with all kinds of insects, birds and debris and have objects removed at the emergency room even behind a windshield on the bike. Keep safe.
At 25mph, I've been hit in the face with all sorts of bugs. There isn't really that much of a risk and I hate anything covering my vision while flying.

@@TuckerGott Yep, I was in Norway on my bike some years ago. The speed limit is like 50 mph (80 kmph) between towns. Because of deer and the bigger kind, elk perhaps. In the north there is moose. Wise advise, don't speed there.

Have you ever thought about bringing along some safety glasses in case you see something (out of the ordinary) ahead of you like a swarm of bugs or something, you can always slip them on and off as needed for safety. If you lose an eye you'll forever regret it, you won't be able to do what you love the most.

Such a privilege to spend time with your parents in such an intimate and personal and meaningful way, especially as an adult, sharing your passion with them. I never got to explore my passion of horseback riding with either my Mom or Dad and my Dad, while he taught me so much about what interested him, we never got to sail the sailboat he had nearly finished before he died. Cherish these memories.

You have such a chill cool Mom, that was adorable.
You know what? I did over 500 tandem flights and each one was different. I started with normal people, through children on a normal wing (too light), to powerful passengers that even a tandem wing could not cope with. Because they were kicking my legs, but I couldn't fly.
I don't count how many times my legs have been kicked.
But it's the same satisfaction when you're flying with someone new and you already know that they are already enchanted by this world.
